Billboard.com reports that NINE INCH NAILS' "Year Zero" has been remixed track-by-track for "Y34RZ3R0R3MIX3D", due November 20 via Interscope. Among the remixers are NEW ORDER's Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert, the Faint, Bill Laswell, Ladytron, Fennesz and Saul Williams.The remix of "My Violent Heart" was made by a fan, under the moniker Pirate Robot Midget. "Remix records can be disposable garbage (of which I myself have been guilty of to some extent) but this collection feels good to me," NINE INCH NAILS mainman Trent Reznor writes on NIN.com. I just wanted to check in and let you know that our first U.S. tour has come to an end and it has been a great experience for us! We didn't really know what to expect from the American and Canadian audiences but we were shocked when we found out how many dedicated fans we have in North America! All shows went down very well; we gave everything on stage every single night. We made lots of new friends, toured with some cool bands and hopefully made some new fans as well."The shows we did together with SONATA ARCTICA and THE AGONIST were definitely the highlight of this tour and were very successful. Jonathan Cohen of Billboard.com reports that NIRVANA's November 18, 1993 "MTV Unplugged " recording will make its DVD debut on November 20 via Universal Music Enterprises. "MTV Unplugged in New York" was released Nov. 1 1994 on CD, the first NIRVANA product to appear following Kurt Cobain's suicide that April.Like the CD, the DVD will include the songs "Something in the Way" and "Oh Me", which did not appear on the original MTV broadcast.
