Boss wanted to have a private chat with me this morning. I was like holy crap, did he find out about me playing hooky? Thank goodness no! haha. It was about the restructuring thingie. Since it?s not certain where I?d go or what I?d be doing when the new org structure takes place, my boss offered me something. He wants me to be a part of his team for his project in EM.Wow. That?s like such an honour. Of course there are pros and cons. One of the drawbacks is that I am required to stay there for 3 YEARS!! 3 years in god knows what remote place?! Career wise- it?s a freaking good opportunity as I will be attached to a very high profile project and I will be worth more when this project has been successfully implemented. This week has been really crappy. I?m in a no good mood at all. Everything seems to tick me off!Just tired of dealing with some people. So not in the mood.Person #1 ? always seem to condemn me without any valid/good reason. When all I?ve done is tried to be a good friend and lend an ear whenever he needs to vent; but he can?t be supportive at all whenever I have problems. Everything seems to be my fault. Dude, I need some words of encouragement, not the other way around!Person #2 ? just loves to ask me out but makes a hell lot of noise when I say that I wanna go back early. Dude, I need to get some sleep ok? I might be a nocturnal person but I need to sleep too. Easy for him to complain, he practically doesn?t sleep all night and is free to go out anytime he wants. They should have made Thaipusam a public holiday for Federal Territory a long time ago. There are people working in KL who celebrate Thaipusam also maa..these ppl have to take leave, while those working in Selangor gets a day off. Not fair lar.Thanks PM, Samy Vellu and whoever?since there?s no work tomorrow- I can sleep late to finish up some chores (and maybe Gtalk keke) and wake up late too! WooHoo! Hmm..wonder if PM would have announced that Thaipusam holiday is extended to Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya if the general elections were not around the corner?Eh. Well at this point I just couldn't be bothered if he thinks that I like him, because that's the truth anyway. Buat tak tahu je la. Thing is, I won't ever get to know if the feeling is mutual or not. But then again, why would you want to treat some normal friend/colleague/whatever at TGIF and spend RM121+ just for a meal for two? Puzzling keke. Not to mention movie tickets, popcorn + drink....hmm.Anyway, Cloverfield- i thought it was just normal, like Godzilla or something. I wouldn't watch such a movie at the theater, but nevermind. When it ended, I was like, "is that it?" Pretty dumb lar haha. But the company that I had put a smile on my face so even if the movie sucked, who cares?I so wanna watch 27 Dresses! How could I have said such a thing?! He must have thought that I?m crazy or worse, have an impression that I am head over heels with him. Ack!Ok, I admit. Well, I FINALLY got to taste the infamous J.Co doughnuts. After several attempts of giving up- the freaking queue was just too long! Yesterday however, I was determined to buy one way or another. Was in the bloody queue for 25 damn tiring minutes. I had to find out what was so great about it, that people are so willing to line up for so long, just to get some doughnuts?Like someone said- small price to pay, to bite into a little piece of heaven, or even like biting into a litle piece of cloud. Hahah!J.Co doughnuts are definitely wonderful and yummy, but I couldn't tell the difference between it and Big Apple. Taste the same to me. Big Apple is cheaper, with shorter queues! We had a meeting this morning; and I was thinking to myself- can I do it? how can I do it? 2007 has been full of laughter, tears, joy and hurts. There have been emptiness, loneliness and suffering. However, there is also happiness, kindness, goodness, patience and love.This year I lost the best thing that has ever happened to me. A companionship, a friend. I thought I?d never get over that, in fact in some ways I think I still haven?t. But then something else came along which caught my full attention. God is amazing and does work in mysterious way, sometimes.I stopped making resolutions a long time ago, for I never seem to stick to them. Nevertheless, that doesn?t stop me from achieving my goals- in my own way and at my own pace. Someone ever said that you?re cute as a button before? Mr. Cute Guy told me this and due to my ignorance, I haven?t got a clue what that meant. Considering that it was my first time hearing such phrase. Is that even a compliment? I mean, how can I be cute as a button? Button s are cute meh?Until I saw a bag at Pepe which has "cute as a button" written on it. And I was like; omg! There is such thing! But why "button" and not something else eh? Wonder where this phrase was originated from.According to him, it?s a figure of speech- referring to something small, cute and sweet. Hehe. So he thinks I?m all that?! I haven?t felt this exhausted in a long time. Sleeping late at night every single day, going out from morning till evening and until the wee hours of morning, exercising (aka window shopping)?fuh. My legs feel like they are coming off anytime soon haha.For the past few days I have been in a shopping mood. My hands were itching to swipe my credit card; and all I bought was two tank tops. Also for the past few days I have been going shoe hunting; need to replace this favourite pair of shoes of mine. Don?t you just hate to wake up every Monday morning and drag yourself to work? Bummer. I hate Mondays! This week has been really crappy and the busiest ever. Not to mention stressful and tiring. Of course, there were moments which put a smile on my face. Like the get-to-know-you session on Monday, and when my boss sms-ed me saying that I had done a great job- he has read my proposal and was very satisfied with it, and also not forgetting the GTalk sessions till 4am on Friday and Saturday nights ;)My car's fixed but I have to admit, I suddenly have this phobia. I'm having such a BAD day. It was a long, and busy day at work. We've just gotten a new project and I've been appointed as Project Manager for this project. Busy preparing the proposal and requirement study report for client. It doesn't help that one of my teammates thinks that she's the boss and is such a know-it-all (when she doesn't know anything at all!) ..damn freaking bossy and snobbish. Berlagak pandai and perasan je lebih. I don't have the patience to deal with these kinda people- ppl who always think that they're right, always like to command others to do things, always bragging and always talk big only.I really hate to work with her but I have to force myself to be "professional" (i.e; put on a fake smile on my face and not let her know that I totally dislike her). Just a quick update.The S.H.E concert yesterday was AWESOME! AMAZING! WONDERFUL! BRILLIANT! FABULOUS! FANTASTIC! MAGNIFICENT! TERRIFIC! OUTSTANDING! SENSATIONAL! So excited for tomorrow. The long-awaited S.H.E concert. S.H.E Live @ Kuala Lumpur, 8pm, Stadium Merdeka. I know, while everyone is at the Live & Loud KL concert, I?ll be at the S.H.E concert instead! :D2 tickets to S.H.E concert ~ RM526Seeing S.H.E perform live ~ Priceless#Went to watch Enchanted with a few colleagues after work. Enjoyed it although it was a normal, typical love story. People in the cinema applauded when Pip the chipmunk acted out Nathaniel trying to poison Giselle. Decided to wear my new Charles and Keith red heels, which I bought in Singapore during my trip last month. Today I had on a red shirt and a red handbag, hence the red shoes to complement the whole look/outfit. Ended up with blisters! My feet was killing me and I was complaining non-stop. Sakit gila, nak jalan pun susah. I've not disappeared; I'm just busy. Hihi. With work, and guests around the house (main reason why I had to get my room cleaned asap). So tired. And I'm sick of work. I need a vacation. But I need extra money + time for that, which I currently do not have. Darn.I've also been coughing for the past few days (jangkit colleague). But this time I made sure to take the cough syrup before my condition gets worse. Prevention is better than cure. It's so embarrassing to be coughing like mad in the train and at the office.
