Wow I have been SO busy with work. Bz gila semenjak dua menjak ni. Today, as any other Fridays- it's a "I so don't have the mood to work" day. During lunch time, my colleagues and I went to Pavilion. Took a cab from KLCC. Window shopped and had lunch. Wanted to buy J.Co donuts to bring back to the office but the queue was just too bloody long! Had difficulty finding a cab to go back to KLCC, as most taxi drivers claimed that that the traffic was bad. One cab driver even wanted to charge us RM10 when the fare was supposed to be only RM3. Gila ke apa?! We managed to get a cab to go back to work and by the time we reached office it was around 3pm hihi...it amazes me all the time, how cab drivers here do not even have the decency to wear seat belts. Hey come on, you're driving strangers around man. But whilst in Singapore, cab drivers were the one who reminded us to wear our rear seatbelts, scared kena fine. Lol. How ironic.Eh..I've sidetracked! I have been extremely busy with work! Even had to work from home last weekend T_TLast Monday was a close colleague?s last day at work. I was saddened by her departure, as that meant I lost a good friend + colleague. But I?m happy that she has gotten a better job. Despite getting a better job + offer, she was reluctant to leave the company. Cried all the time. Datang office je nangis, tengah kemas barang pun nangis. I?ve changed jobs too but I don?t remember being that emotional.Farewell dinner was at Nippon Tei, KLCC. Which was why I wasn?t able to meet up with Mr Cute Guy, last Friday. Maybe tomorrow after work, I think. He asked if I was free on Wednesday :D ..Anyway, we got her a photo frame as a farewell gift, which had our picture in it. Aidil msged me on MSN asking ?What?s hyperlink in BM??Was I supposed to know that?! Googled and found out that hyperlink in BM is hiperpautan, or pautan for short. Lol. I never knew such word exist. Never heard of it before. Personally I think it sounds weird. Hiperpautan? Pautan?! Doesn?t pautan means clinging on to something? Shouldn?t it be hypercling then?Aidil wasn?t satisfied with hiperpautan. It sounded way too odd. But BNM?s BM version website is using hiperpautan, so I guess that?s the right word.Second question from Aidil- ?What on earth is quick links in BM? Pautan cepat/laju/pantas??Shoot. I didn?t know the answer to that either. I voted for pautan pantas, but it turned out that it was pautan cepat.Next time hor, dun ask me lah. I've got some chocolates to share, but there were only 12 pieces. Not enough for the whole department; only selected ppl got to savor it. Inlcuding that cute guy! LOL. He seemed to be MIA all day, and I had to wait until he was back at his workstation. When he finally came back to office, my colleague was like "Go! Hurry give him the chocs, I wanna see!" Chey?He ate the chocs straight away; and shortly after, he said "Is this not the best chocolates I've ever tasted?"I don't know what exactly he meant by that, but I was grinning from ear to ear. Happy giler!

..is a great therapy for the home and mind too!I?ve decided to participate in the 30 Day Organizational Challenge at I?m an Organizing Junkie. Hope it's not too late? Not because I think I could win, just needed an excuse to clean up the mess in my room.No matter how many times I clean my room, it just goes back to its original state in a few days. My room is always messy and I loathe myself for not being able to keep it neat and tidy. I didn?t clean it this weekend like I should have, or last week, or the week before, or anytime lately. I always procrastinate, and when I do, the situation becomes worse. Maybe it?s because the mess is completely my fault, whereas in other areas of the house, the messiness is contributed by everyone.I haven't been sleeping in my room for a few months now :P mainly it's because there's something wrong with the fan, and I can't sleep without the fan on. Have yet to get it fixed. I'm not one of those lucky ppl who has an air-cond in their room boo...

If you are seeing someone, is it wrong to have a crush on someone else?I?m shy to admit, but I have a crush on an office mate. No one knows except for a few close colleagues. And perhaps he himself? Lol. He?s probably one of the reasons why work is so exciting :P ..Alas, our friendship cumalah setakat "hi-hi, bye-bye" and some casual chats once in a while. This cute guy is stationed at our level temporarily. I peek at him whenever he goes to the pantry, and try to steal a glance every now and then. The weird and wonderful thing is that my colleagues told me the exact same thing about him! Every time I pass by his workstation, or whenever I stop to chit chat with colleagues who sit near him, he?ll keep looking at me. There?s definitely chemistry between us! Hahaha. Perasan betul.We were talking yesterday and he told me that he?ll be transferred to another level either tomorrow or Monday. It was then my heart dropped, for I knew that I won?t get to see him everyday anymore. Melepaslah...

Today's the first time that I;- took a cab to KLIA all by myself- boarded a plane all by myself- came to Miri, SarawakAm in Miri now, on a business trip. Staying at Grand Palace Hotel. I thought the admin guy booked me a room at Marriot. He actually did but it was cancelled because apparently, Marriot's too "expensive". Cheh, what a cheapskate!When I boarded the plane and was looking for my seat, there was this dude sitting on it. I was like "Hey! You took my seat, I'm 19A!" (I specifically requested for a window seat). That dude quickly got up and moved to the next seat. Didn't even say sorry. I thought of making a sarcastic remark like "Ingat ni Air Asia ke? Free seating? Hish" ..but of course I didn't. Hehe. Apart from that, the flight today was ok, but there was a hell lot of turbulances. Hate that! Makes me feel as if the plane's gonna crash or something. *Touch wood* The food was good! So far the food served on MAS are all yummy and they've never failed to satisfy my hu...

..to watch movies!I?m REALLY slow when it comes to watching movies. It didn't use to be like this. When I was studying in college, I used to watch movies like few times a week. Where on earth did I get the time and money to pay for the movie tickets? Oh wait, it was my boyfriend (now ex) who paid for the movies. Where on earth did he get the money to pay for a hell lot of movies for two, while we were still studying?Anyways, now that I?m working, you?d think I?d have the money to go watch a movie. But no. I barely have time to go to the cinema, let alone have money to pay for it. Because there are so many other important things that require money, I only watch certain movies at the cinema. Last week, an e-mail informing us on the payment of Annual Bonus FY06/07 and Salary Increment FY07/08 was circulated. Earlier this week, we received a letter describing our individual bonus eligibility and our salary increment (and new salary figure, of course). I?m not very satisfied with the bonus, but the increment was okay I guess. Anyhow, better than nothing!So now that I?m earning more than before, does that mean that I get to spend more? I am not easily satisfied anymore. I want more; regardless whether it?s necessary or not. I am afraid I will forget the pain and hardwork that I had gone through to buy my stuffs. When I see friends spending like nobody?s business and buying designer bags and shoes, I feel sad. Secretly, I long to be like them, to be able to spend like they have all the money in the world?but there are times when I feel very fortunate that I am NOT like them. Someone from the Federation of Malaysian Unit Trusts Managers called to ask if I had joined any of their contests. Yes! I did join The "Invest in Unit Trusts" Contest.I won 3rd prize for the weekly entries. 3rd prize = RM101. Haish. 3rd prize?! RM101 only? Oklah, better than nothing. Can cover my LRT monthly pass for next month hehe.The contest is still running but sadly, each contestant is entitled to win only one prize throughout the entire contest.

Heh. After 2 years of leaving my 2nd job (1st permanent job though), I was asked if I wanted to come back and work there again LOL.My ex-colleague called. Told me that they needed people and asked if I wanted my old job back. But of course, this time with higher salary and bigger responsibilities. He said that if I?m interested, I should talk to his boss ? about the job scope, salary, etc. I don?t know what to do! Oh! My ex-colleague?s boss has just called to arrange an appointment with me. I was speechless. Firstly because I didn?t expect his phone call and I don?t know when I would be free, and secondly it was because of his accent. Wow! Today?s that day again. I?m a year older. I feel ancient! In the last year there have been plenty of highs and lows. I?ve met all sorts of fabulous people, laughed and cried, and probably have grown up a little more.Sometimes I wonder about the things that I?ve accomplished or those that I?ve yet to. My priorities in life have changed. However, one of the main things that I still need to battle is the urge to shop, and actually giving in to that urge. I?m still trying to learn and control on how to spend lesser/wiser. Watched Hairspray . Loved it! :DHonestly, I didn't know what it was all about. Was planning to watch Knocked Up but there were no morning screenings. But when Nikki Blonsky who played Tracy Turnblad started singing Good Morning Baltimore at the opening of the movie, I knew I was going to love the movie. It's one of the best feel good movies ever! Every minute was packed with laughs and smile and made me so wanna dance! Plus the songs in the movie were really lovely. Wanna download it hehe.John Travolta did an awesome job in playing the role of Edna Turnblad, Tracy's mom. At first we were like "ewww" and couldn't accept it because she was sooo huge. Lol. Michelle Pfeiffer looked lovely although a bit too skinny? And Zac Efron! I was totally smitten. He looked SO good. Uber cute! I'm so going to google him after this. I have yet to watch High School Musical 1 & 2 but now I'm itching to watch 'em. The rest of the cast was fantastic too ^___^

So much for not wanting to take sick leave. I've got a fever. Temperature = 38.7 °CBlame it on the rain on Monday night at Bangsar Baru. After work, went to Telawi with Fuzz. Window shopping at the boutiques there lor, what else..cannot buy anything at Cats Whiskers because we forgot to bring the e-coupon. There was a promotion going on though, buy 3 items and get 10% off. Wah, who so rich wanna buy 3 items lar? Everyone except me.Wait, did I say window shopping? Hmm..window shopped at all boutiques, except Little Black Book. I ended up buying a pair of wedges while Fuzz bought a lovely black clutch. Hihihi..I've decided to switch to Blogger :DI haven't been blogging for quite some time now. Been bitten by the lazy bug! Lots of things had happened, from being on cloud 9, to being let down emotionally by people.Why is it that there are people who claim that they care for you, miss you, love you and what not, but yet, they are always never there for you whenever you need them?Strange place, this world.Broke the record, not once, not twice but thrice!!
