Couple , a pioneering power pop combo released its debut album, Top of the Pop, featuring a collection of hummable, sinfully addictive songs. But the word “debut” may be a little misleading. The band dates back to almost a decade now and have previously released four albums, all recorded on cheap home recording equipment and packaged as CD-Rs sold at live gigs. Referencing the classic pop sounds of The Beach Boys, the Beatles, through to American power pop icons like Big Star and The Posies, the Ipoh-born frontman Aidil Rusli formed Couple with a friend in 1995 and began demo-ing songs together. 2007-08-27 16:57:00 Nicestupidplayground was formed in Sarawak, Borneo, Malaysia in 1992 and fronted by Charles Rossem. Musically, they are influenced by the now defunct early 80s British sounds. The current band members are Charles Rossem (vocals), John Boniface (bassist), Abdul Aziz Sahal (guitars), Bendy Ismardy (drums), Nellfee (guitars) and Abdul Hadi (keyboards). Nellfee and Abdul Hadi was recruited early 2005 before the recording of the new album.In 1996, John Boniface (bassist) sent their most successful demo titled Thirtyzeroeight to Paul Moss, one of Positive Tones highly rated producer. The demo automatically caught Paul Moss interest and immediately offered nicestupidplayground a compilation album deal. The compilation which was released in 1997 entitled Boys & Girls 1 + 1 = 3 in which nicestupidplayground contributed 3 songs- Bedroom Window, She Wants and and I dont admire . 2007-08-22 21:03:00 Pada tahun 1991..sewaktu berusia 14 tahun..Loque(Khairil Ridzwan Bin Anuar), Kadak(Mohd Fakharudin Bin Mohd Bahar) dan tiga rakan mereka iaitu Cop, Ayul dan Bobo bersekolah di Kolej Melayu Kuala Kangsar..lima remaja ini amat meminati bidang muzik dan menubuhkan sebuah band iaitu Loque's Tail..Pada waktu itu..kelima-lima remaja ini sering "Jamming" di Zai Am Studio yang terletak di Kuala Kangsar..Pada tahun 1992...minat Loque's Tail dalam bidang muzik semakin mendalam tambahan pula zaman tersebut merupakan era Grunge..album Nirvana yang berjudul Nevermind memang banyak menyemarakkan diri mereka untuk utuh dalam bidang muzik..Setelah Cop dan Bobo terpaksa berundur dari Loque's Tail..Kalai menyertai kumpulan tersebut..namun tidak lama kemudian ayul turut berundur dari kumpulan tersebut..Setelah tinggal bertiga..Loque (vokalis/guitar), Kadak (bass) dan Kalai (drum) tetap mener...
