I thought nothing could top the stunning Red in its velvet case, but I could be wrong.Crasher Wet captures some amazing character, just as Red did with its party, spiritual sounds. Except this this time round, the album does indeed have a Wet character. The clever use of 'ripple' style sounds in the rhythms really adds that summery, fresh feeling, and its totally consistant. Its one of those albums you would take with you if you were stranded on a desert island. Its hard to put it into words how this water effect is put into the mixing and music, you'll just have hear. Maybe the finest dance album ever compiled.
