Chinese Democracy still not on the shelves
2007-03-08 09:23:02 Well after Axl Rose's press release announcing a tentative release date of March 6, had many of us hopeful that it would be out. This date given by Rose is better than his usual responses earlier, he was used to saying "soon" or "not anytime soon" which would let us fans down. But after March 6th has come and past us Guns N' Roses once again are let down. Hopefully Axl will get his act together and give us a concrete date and hopefully some singles and promotion crap will be seen soon so we know the ball is rolling, but as of now nothing seems to be happening in the Guns N' Roses camp. Chris Cornell Leaves Over-Rated Audioslave
2007-02-19 09:10:02 The lead singer of the over-rated, “super-group” known as Audi o slave has quit the band. He left because he said there were, “irresolvable personality conflicts as well as musical differences.” This was no shock to us because the rest of the band joined back together with singer Zach de la Rocha to bring back Rage Against the Machine. For now Rage will be playing only one show at California's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 29. “I think the biggest problem with people surviving in a band and getting along and appreciating each other is just the fact that for the most part musicians aren't the kind of people who concentrate or worry about what the other guy thinks,” he said. Audioslave was not that great of a band and their last album was a major flop. Before Audioslave, Chris Corn ell was in the band Soundgarden. Soundgarden was one of the 4 bands the make it big out of Seattle in the grunge days. The other bands were, Pea... More About: Leave

Blige You're Beautiful - James Blunt Not Ready To Make Nice - Dixie Chicks Crazy - Gnarls Barkley Put Your Records On - Corinne Bailey Rae Predict ion: Crazy by Gnarls Barkley, why? Becuase it is a funky, fresh song, and is different from anything else in music today and should receive the award. Album of the Year Taking The Long Way - Dixie Chicks St. Elsewhere - Gnarls Barkley Continuum - John Mayer Stadium Arcadium - Red Hot Chili Peppers FutureSex/LoveSounds - Justin Timberlake Prediction: Justin Timberlake, his songs are played like crazy over the radio and on television. As much as I do not like his music, everyone else seems to be going head over heels for it. I am hoping for the Red Hot Chili Peppers to pull out the win, but the CD was not so great, not even comparable to Californication. Song ... More About: Predictions , Grammy
The Eagles to Record New Album
2007-01-31 21:00:07 It’s understood that the 1970’s American rock group, The Eagle s , are in the process of recording their first album of new material for nearly thirty years. According to the BBC, founding member and the group’s lead-singer, Don Henley, told the audience at a recent show that the new material has almost been completed. The Eagles broke up in the 1980’s after a string of hits, including the infamous Hotel California. The band then reformed in the early 90’s and have toured together ever since. Although they have released a number of singles since they reunited, this new album will be their first full studio album since the 1979 hit, ‘The Long Run.’ Source: GIGWISE More About: Album , Record

Top 10 Rock N? Roll Songs
2007-01-23 08:52:01 10. Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana Cobain on Smells Like Teen Spirit, "I was trying to write the ultimate pop song. I was basically trying to rip off the Pixies. I have to admit it. When I heard the Pixies for the first time, I connected with that band so heavily that I should have been in that band — or at least a Pixies cover band. We used their sense of dynamics, being soft and quiet and then loud and hard." 9. Baba O'Riley - The Who A very good song oftern referred to as, "Teenage Wasteland". The Who released this song on their album, Who's Next. 8. Wild Horses - Rolling Stones "Wild Horses" is to have been originally written by Richards in response to his having to leave his then-infant son Marlon to go on tour with the band. Although it is said Jagger re-wrote most of this song to reflect the end of his relationship with Marianne Faithfull, Jagger himself said, "Everyone always says this was written about Marianne but...
