2007-12-04 18:24:00 The video for Radiohead 's new single Jigsaw Falling Into Place has finally found its way onto the Internet. The video features the band members wearing bicycle helmets while playing their instruments with cameras attached to the helmets pointing at them. The video is black and white and while its nothing spectacular the song is really good (although it wouldn't be my first choice of song to be released as a single). Anyway, here's the video... Foo Fighters To Play Wembley Stadium
2007-11-21 17:33:00 Foo Fighters are set to play Wembley stadium next year on June 7. The plan at the moment is to have the gig broadcast live on Radio 1 which would definitely pull in more viewers for the radio station while further promoting the band in the UK. Tickets go on sale at 10am this Friday (November 23) and although there will probably be around 75,000 seating tickets and 15,000 standing tickets going on sale I really wouldn't expect these tickets to last more than a few days, so get them while you can. Thom Yorke Speaks On Solo Album
2007-11-21 17:06:00 Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has claimed that working as a solo artist is "dull". Yorke released his debut solo album The Eraser last year to critical acclaim (and rightly so, it was a masterpiece of an album) but he explained: "It was kind of dull [working on my own]. It was deeply unsatisfying because you weren't sharing much of the process but then I got back with the band and it was like 'Oh my god, there's all these other other people I have to work with now'." On a semi-related note, Thom Yorke's bandmate Ed O'Brien has stated that Yorke needs more persuading on the idea of Radiohead touring next year. We can only hope that it'll happen, as the band can only be described as Gods. On the idea of playing festivals Thom said: "That collective experience. Thousands of people in a field wanting the same thing, going to the same place, with the same mindset. I think that's really important." So festival appearances definitely seem to be a possibility at present. More About: News , Radiohead , Solo , Album

Boyzone Reform for Reunion Tour
More articles from this author:2007-11-07 10:14:00 Oh, yes! Another 90s boy band is reforming. The mildly successful Irish boy band Boyzone have already confirmed their performance for the BBC's television charity appeal Children in Need and now they hope to follow it up with a tour. Lead singer Ronan Keating told The Sun: "After all the speculation we are getting back together and we are very excited. We have been talking about it for a while now and decided to go out there on our own and have a go at it." There are problems already though and you will never guess why... The band bought and recorded a song called "I Gave It All Away", which was written by cheesy pop singer Mika, but Mika has banned the release deeming it too cheesy. You can watch Boyzone perform during Children in Need on Friday, November 16. More About: News , Reform , Tour , Reunion 1, 2 |
