Excepto algunas cosillas que me dejaron, como Raccoon o algo asi, habrá que investigar y unos tal Trushes o algo asi. Me he tenido que conformar con la música de los anuncios de publicidad, la de la radio y la que se escuchaba en algunos bares. El nuevo disco de Lori Meyers se llama Cronolánea, según Fede es similar a los discos anteriores, no por ello malo. Y fuera de lo que se comenta en YouTube de si es pop o indie...En mi caso, que una canción me haya gustado sin saber que era de ellos, ya es importante. De hecho si no fuera porque el otro día veíamos el Fly-music en casita de Bea (disfrutando de finde fallero) no habría sabido que eran ellos, hasta que vi el video. Pocas veces habré escuchado la canción antes, o puede que en el currito de modo inconsciente se me metiera en la cabecita. El caso es que es la canción se pega y después de escucharla hoy en acústico,esta vez escuchándola conscientemente en el currillo, me gusta y por eso hacemos este post.

El hecho de estar en otro lado, y no tener internet, hace que esté completamente desconectada de todo lo que se cuece en el mundillo musical. Una ha perdido la costumbre de aprender con los programas de radio, y ahora navegando y aprendiendo de los blogs y de lo que cae en páginas musicales y demás, se hace su repertorio, aún más raro que antes de navegar en el mundo de los blogs. Pero viendo lo visto, a falta de internet, habrá que volver a escuchar la radio, dado que también los programas musicales, salvo canales específicos, escasean.

Después de toda la semanita sin internet, y pensando en que hasta que no vuelva a casa nada de nada, serán 3 semanas sin internet, y no quiero pensar en toda la música que me voy a perder, aunque quizá sea lo más sano. Total el resto de mortales te hacen sentir que no merece la pena esta música, que es muy rara y que con los de toda la vida "vas que chutas". Porque está luego la tolerancia, mientras tú tienes que escuchar su pachanga, lolailoleo o su pop tal y cual, ell@s no están dispuestos a escuchar ni un segundo de lo que tú puedes ofrecerles. Mi disco favorito del 2007 fue "The meaning of 8", ¿será el nuevo disco de Cloud Cult , "Feel the ghosts", mi disco del 2008 ?Minneapolis-based Cloud Cult has revealed an April 8 release date for their long-awaited sixth album, Feel Good Ghosts (Tea-partying Through Tornadoes) (Earthology). As one of the first self-appointed "green bands," Cloud Cult has released their entire catalog through frontman Craig Minowa's Earthology Records, which only issues 100 percent, post-consumer recycled or organic releases.
