Miley Cyrus is releasing her new solo album 'Breakout' in July, and the lead single from the album is the song '7 Things '. It's a good song and should do well after the huge success of 'See You Again'. Think of a mix between Avril Lavigne and Ashlee Simpson for the sound of this single. The Sun are reporting that Britney is going to be releasing a new album towards the end of this year. Jive are very impressed with Britneys new material and have decided to have Britneys new album released at the same time as Whitney Houstons new album. A label source said: ?Britney has been on fire in the studio of late. During recording sessions for the last album she was consumed by her chaotic private life. But she is determined to make a triumphant comeback. Top brass have been amazed by the quality of tracks they?ve heard. Whitney is set for another relaunch at the same time later in the year. They?re determined Brit will come out on top.?

While I don't agree with the direction they are going in as a band, and the fact that their album is trying to copy The Beatles 'Sgt. Peppers' album, I am liking the fact that they are starting to explore new sounds and make decent videos. I hope their next album is more like their first though, which I think is more their sound and the sound that they should stick with in the future.

Three Days Grace are re-releasing 'Pain ' to Pop Radio this month with a new version of the song. The song peaked just outside of the top 40 last year- but since 'Never Too Late' did very well on radio they have decided to try to push this song again on Pop Radio- hopefully it will do well because the band is great and so is this song! Britney has been in the recording studio lately working on something, while using the excuse that she's "tinkering around in the studio"- but you don't "tinker" for weeks on end in the recording studio. She is up to something- and this new song clip that leaked titled 'Something More', could it be what she's been working on- you decide. It's a GREAT song judging from the clip and it's better than anything on Blackout, period. If this is what her next album will sound like, and it's indeed new- then I cannot wait for her new material and she will be huge again! Mariah Carey | E=MC² Release Date: April 15th, 2008 Label: Island Def Jam Records ----------------------------- ----------------------------- E=MC2 is the 11th Studio album by superstar singer/songwriter Mariah Carey and follows a more urban/hip-hop route previously showcased in her last set The Emancipation of Mimi. Mariah herself has actually described the album as The Emancipation of Mimi ?Part Two? and you can quite easily see the similarities between the two just by looking at the album artwork. However, the production values on this collection are bigger, with names such as Scott Storch, Swizz Beatz and Danja all lending their talents to the album. The album overall is a good hip-hop/R&B record with some true club bangers and chilled, down-tempo grooves as well. Word is that Janet is going to start rehearsals as soon as next week for her appearance and performance on Dancing With The Stars . I really hope this turns out to be true because nearly 20 million people watch this show weekly and it's been a while since we've seen or heard from Janet. Promotion would definitely be great right about now. If you haven't already picked up her newest album Discipline, then make sure you go and do that soon. It's definitely her best album in years and a very solid album- so check it out! Standout tracks: Rollercoaster, 2nite, Feedback, and Never Letchu Go.

Busta Rhymes is back with a new album and a brand new single titled 'We Made It,' which features Linkin Park doing the chorus to the single. It's an interesting mash-up but it's definitely a good song- so you should check it out. The single is likely to do well on the charts based on curiosity in the pairing- but not sure how well it will do in the long run, but we'll see. I think it won't do much on radio at all. Madonna will be performing a small concert at Roseland Ballroom in NYC tonight- so be sure to catch all the performances of her new and old material tonight on MSN Music at 10pm/EST, 7pm on the west coast. I'm looking forward to seeing the first performances of '4 Minutes' and 'Give It 2 Me'. Also- Justin Timberlake is performing live with her, so we will definitely have to tune into tonight to check that out!

Coldplay have had major success with their past albums, and they are back with their new single 'Violet Hill ' and a brand new album- and this is likely to be a hit just like the single that preceded it. It's a great song and I think it has a shot to do well on the charts- especially the Billboard Hot 100 from sales over time. Now before people go bashing this video- Kylie is extensively rehearsing for her major tour and didn't have time to shoot a major scale video for the single. It's not the best video, but a simple promo video like this with her looking beautiful is better than nothing, and hopefully she'll shoot a real video for the next single.

Madonna has come full circle with this album- it has a an 80's tinged style meshed with current sounds from Pharrel and Timbaland. She seems to have brought some of her 80's vocals back with the high pitched voice- and this album seems fresh, and original. Definitely a great album from Madonna. Apart from the lipped ending- the performance wasn't that bad- but Mariah definitely needs to get some vocal training and stop singing for a while- her voice is deteriorating fast- and I don't want her to end up like that. She needs vocal rest and vocal therapy- or get surgery or something to help with the problem. Also, you can buy the new single 'Bye Bye' on iTunes now!

Sara Bareilles went to #1 on Pop Radio with her debut single 'Love Song' after it exploded, and her next single 'Bottle It Up' was used in the iTunes commercial and other commercials will likely do the same thing. It's not as instant as 'Love Song' but it's a good song and will probably give her another hit from this album. The album isn't that bad- so I recommend it to anyone who cares to give a listen. Mariah's new album E=MC² comes out in a little over a week- and two new tracks have leaked, being recorded from a few performances that she pre-recorded for T4's television show. 'That Chick ' should definitely be a single- it's kind of old school meets the sounds of today. It's mellow and just something I can picture on the radio over the spring or summer. 'Bye Bye' is a nice ballad that will for sure put her back at #1. She has great single choices and will be just as successful with this album!
