Commonly known as B-Boying, The art of dancing to the break was named by none other than the formentioned DJ Kool Herc. B-Boy meaning Break-Boy who as you can imagine danced to the break of a song. So where did it start? In 1969 James Brown recorded “Get on the Good-Foot” which inspired an ‘acrobatic dance’ that James Brown would perform on stage. So the stage was set.
