For my birthday I got Atilia - Sangkar new album as my belated birthday present from my best friend Gap. Thank you very much Gap for this nice present...I had to beg you to buy me this album hahaha!Had a quick preview of the songs in this album, mixed of nice and not so nice songs in this album. The music arrangement for most of the songs are good (Roslan Aziz style and taste) - some songs do have this touch of the kind of songs in Sheila Majid's Ratu album (in my opinion). I think it's like either you love or hate it with Atilia - Sangkar album. This album took quite sometime to be released...and as Roslan Aziz said about Sangkar "Work based on love and affection will always be rewarded.." Mila's winning this season is something that we can be proud of. For the first time a female student won the competition where all this while the winners have been dominated by the male contestants. At least I can say now that voters are more intelligent in their final choice of the winner. I love this song by Mila - PERSIS MUTIARA composed by Ajai and its lyric by Loloq. MILA - THE WINNER FOR AF5

I salute this girl. She just go up and up and nailed it on her two performances at the final of Akademi Fantasia 5 last Saturday. She started with zero knowledge and her singing was just 'so-so' and bloomed at the end with such an enchanting perfomances. Mila deserved to be the winner!!! Mind you I didnt vote to any of the students throughout the last AF5 season, but while watching the final last Saturday, I said to myslef I just have to vote for Mila because she just have to win this competition. She was superb as compared to other finalists that night and i think i just have to help her to win this competition. Hi! how are you guys doing..here's something that i managed to record on my handphone videocam on VE's performance during their last SUNDAY NITE LIVE showcase at Planet Hollywood KL. Went there with another famous celebrity blogger Sensasi Selebriti (more pictures and review that you can get from his blog). Here you can enjoy VE singing their version SITI SITU SANA SINI (one of the popular with my har song by Siti Nurhaliza). I am sorry if the quality of the recording nat that satisfactory, biasalah caprture with my video handphone. Not many attended VE's show at Planet Hollywood that night, howevere their show was quite entertaining. They had some special guest artistes accompanying their show and one of them was Jaclyn Victor. Anyone of you still remember the soulful voice of LIZA AZIZ.? For those of you who have never heard of LIZA AZIZ, she was and is one of the best vocalist that Malaysia has ever had, at least to me. Maybe she came out as a singer at the wrong time where during that time people only looked up to beautiful and slim singers than anything else...Adibah Noor had to go through thick and thin before now being accepted in our music scene. It is so hard to get a good singer with such a soulful voice nowadays...kinda sad really. I got this song PENGORBANAN (duet with Azlina Aziz - her sister) from one of my blog readers (who is now working in IRELAND...zain you know who you are) and I am very greatful to receive this song as I have been looking for this song for so long! Thank you Zain..for sending me this song.!!

A few days I have not updated my blog..lazy pun ada, busy pun ada..sorry. As we all know, Cheryl came out with her own new album and here's another song picked from her album TIADA LAGI RAHSIA. Simple melody and an easy tune to sing along too. Definitely an easy tune that suited her voice range.
