Sugababes - Catfights And Spotlights [Retail ]From time to time I like to post some new music from UK based artist. What we have here is the sixth studio album of female trio the Sugababes. Their first single "Girls" has peaked to #3 overseas, their first single not to reach number 1 since their debut "Overload" in 2000. As for the album having only listened to a couple of their past efforts this one was quite enjoyable. Many of the tracks seemed to be 60's influenced with a mix of todays modern pop/r&b. High School Musical 3 - Original Soundtrack [Retail ]I know I'm late on this one but I've been debating whether to post this or not. I'm pretty much over the whole HSM craze but will probably find myself going to see the film once it hits theatres on October 24th! As for the soundtrack I was going into it not expecting much but was pleased. A lot of it, is just cheesy pop tracks but what can you really expect from a Disney Soundtrack. That aside the cast has deffenitly grown together and sound good. There's nothing amazing here but I'm sure all the HSM fans will be going crazy for the new songs. Two platinum albums later aswell as Grammy awards and he know moves onto the next chapter in his career. Current single "Green Light" with Andre 3000 has been making it's way slowy up the charts peaking to #44 on the Billboard Hot 100. As for the album John wanted to take the album in a diffrent direction and that is exactly what he delivered. He hasn't completely left the sound that his fans have all grown to love but brings a more morden dance feel to many of the tracks.
