My friend Jen went ballistic when she saw her Samsonite suitcase wrecked after it was returned to her by a friend of hers. She was suppose to use it for an official business out of town trip. Boy, was she mad! I would too. I like Samsonite and I trust its quality. I didn't understand how her friend could have destroyed that suitcase. What on earth did she use that suitcase for anyway???Speaking of luggages, there are quite a number of other brands out there that are also known for quality and style. Take for instance the French made Delsey hard top suitcases. Also the stylish yet durable Kenneth Cole. There's also the well known aluminum suitcases of Rimowa. There's a lot out there. How to lose weight is a topic most women will be interested in during discussions. Most women will try all sorts of exercise gadgets just to lose an inch or two around their waistline. Some would even try the top diet pills brands recommended by their friends to reduce weight and shed those extra bulges fast especially if they have tried several conventional weight loss diets without success. I have nothing against diet pills except that one should take it under a physician's supervision because some of those diet pills or weight loss supplements can be useless for weight loss or dangerous or both. I remember watching Oprah one night and she and her guest Suze Orman talked about real estate investments and crippling debts. Suze Orman gave the viewers some financial advice that I think was very informative. She shared some pointers too. She said that there is a season, a right timing to buy or sell a house. CNN once voted Wilmington NC as the 7th best place to buy real estate now. Wilmington real estate market continues to show signs of strength. I think Suze Orman's pointers and financial advice could best be used in deciding whether or not this is a positive move. The decision is yours.

I've been wanting to write about how inspiring the articles I've been reading from the mail sent by Rejoice Ministries to me everyday. It has helped me tremendously in my walk with God given the situation I am in right now. Come to think of it, I can't even remember who introduced me to Rejoice Ministries. Then the first article I read from this site was, "Didn't know how you got here? God lead you here that's why..." I felt my heart leaped. I went like, "God, is that You?" By the way, you might wonder what standers and prodigals are in my posts from here on. Standers are like me who stands in the gap for lost loved ones and won't stop praying until they go back to God and come home. The Equestrian Corner

I'm not fond of horses but whenever I see Equestrians in their cool outfit, I'm always in awe. They look so regal, well at least, that's how I see them. The other week I got so stressed with the miscommunication I had with a friend which, thank God, was already resolved. We were able to save our friendship.This week I thank God:For the graceful exit God provided me. I was tasked to teach a special young lady for five months. I'm barely on my second month and things already got sour. This is related to my almost ruined friendship I mentioned earlier. I prayed so hard that God would help me get out of this mess. I didn't know what to do anymore because although I intend to keep my word when I agreed to the five month period, I was also worried about the unbelievable stress I was already having because of this. There was already an issue before I entered the picture and I got involved along the way. God made a way. The mom said she has to cut short the five months because of some new plans they have. Truck Accident Lawyer

I have never heard of any truck accident lawyer here who does mainly these sort of stuff. But I do know of some incidents before in my previous job which had some minor truck accidents on highways. Usually truck malfunctions or poor road conditions were the reasons that caused the accidents. I used to work in my grandfather's company, a very famous bakeshop here in the Philippines. Things didn't work out. Complicated. That's a different story though.

Michael, my five year old nephew, loves to play his dad's playstation 3. His favorite is the NBA game. Honestly, I don't know how this thing is being played. I guess I got stuck in playing Nintendo games. Haha! I'm just so amazed how kids nowadays could play complicated games like this. My nephew sure is one smart five year old kid.

My officemate and I recently went to Toyota and checked out the new models we've been wanting to see up close. My eyes were on Avanza. My officemate, on the other hand, was drooling over the latest pick-up truck. He wanted to purchase one for his so-called rolling store for his family's use on weekends. We also asked the dealer for an auto insurance quote to complete the package and see more or less how much the whole thing would cost. As of today, that pick-up truck's picture is my officemate's desktop wallpaper.

Office Furniture

We have moved office so many times that I?ve already lost count. Things happen for a reason and just the same, there?s a reason behind all the moving in and moving out that happened in the past. I guess the two most arduous tasks were to move the office furniture around and to have our room wired up. But thank God it's done. Thank God!

I have been really busy and was also sick the past few days. I had a terrible stomach spasm and was in so much pain. Thank God I'm feeling a lot better today. I just took two vials of Chinese medicine (Kai Nam Powder) my dad told me to take. I had a few stocks at home in case of emergency and it sure came in handy. It tasted bad but who cares?! I just wanted the pain to go away. Thank God it did!Anyway, I gotta go back to work now. I'll try to visit some blogs later. See ya!

Thank God a friendship was saved last night! I was under a lot of or should I say severe stress because of people as well as events that happened since two weeks ago. I was almost always agitated. I was furious of what I thought was being done to me by a friend that thank God our paths didn't cross because I would have probably done something injurious to her. Worst was I had already made up my mind to send an email to someone whom I later found out would cause the whole issue to blow up on my friend's face. Without me knowing, my friend was earnestly praying about our situation. I was too. For some reason, my mind went blank in front of my computer and couldn't collect my thoughts. I believe that was God who stopped me from sending that email.A common friend bridged our gap until I agreed to talk to her last night. It went well. Issues were cleared. Camping Gear

Unlike in the U.S., camping is not that famous an adventure here. I, for one, had never gone camping ever in my life. I only did in make believe when I was young. I set up my tent using blankets with my brothers and sister. It looked fun when we watch campers on TV. I don't have a single camping gear but I do like to own a really nice swiss knife.

Do you love shopping? I do, a lot! It's like therapeutic for me. Although I'm not like I used to who shopped like there's no tomorrow, I still enjoy shopping nonetheless. I never tried buying anything online yet but I saw an iPod Nano 3rd Gen 4GB at only $114.99 at Best Buy. I think it's a good deal but still unsure whether or not it's safe to make online purchases. Okay, I'm scared. That's the bottom line.

I love watching movies, different kinds. But my all time favorite is Dirty Dancing starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. I think I've watched this movie on DVD more than 10 times already and I don't get tired watching it. I would love to have rare movie posters like this one. Isn't it nice to have something original like this as souvenir?

I Dared Her

I made a neat suggestion to my friend Jen that we go to the gym and do exercises here and there to keep fit. Told her once we decide to go for it we have to stick to our schedule to see results. I doubt if she can keep up with it. Anyway, my personal favorite is the gym's pilates program. Jen's favorites are the treadmills and the ellipticals. I dared her, she backed out. Teehee!

I thank God:For my boss. Last Monday, I started teaching my new student. Her name is Karel and she's 22 years old. She's really smart, talented and very compassionate, but she has special needs because of a traumatic childhood. I teach her in the morning and I proceed to my regular job in the afternoon. I worked out that schedule with my boss and glad he said yes. That means additional income for me.That our move to our new office is done. Glad that we're settled finally.For the new hope He's given me. I was so frustrated last week that I had an emotional outburst. Although nothing has really changed when I look at things with my natural eyes, somehow He's trying to get the message across that He's doing something behind the scene. For His patience with me and for His forgiveness on my outburst.For my friends both here and abroad who never gave up on me, on us, when I almost felt like giving up (again). Trade Show Displays

I used to work in a company years ago where I experienced organizing trade show displays. Although the experience was exhausting, it was actually fun especially after the event. We became closer and learned first hand what team work was really all about. It turned out to be a success and we're all proud of what we have accomplished. It's nice to look back at those kinds of memories.
