Psoriasis

I love my skin and so I take good care of it. I feel sorry for those who have a disorder which causes them to have problematic skin. I know how hard that could be because my brothers suffers acne when they were still teenagers and now adults. I can't imagine how hard it could be for others still to have psoriasis. Just like my brothers who tried every cure they can find for acne, I know there are lots of psoriasis products out there too to help those who have this. I hope they find the right product for them.

Handmade Export Products

Just recently I went to an even which showcases different handmade products for export. they have such wonderful, amazing trade show displays. Some products were made by prisoners and I tell you, the products were beautiful. You won't even believe that such were created by skillful hands of our brothers in prison. So amazing!

Loose Diamonds

My sister just came home from an Asian cruise. She mentioned before coming home that she wanted to buy loose diamonds and have them made into a set of jewelry custom made for her. I think that's cool. Although my mom kind of disagreed on her idea, later on she was able to convince Mom to side with her on this. Can't wait to see the outcome of this "crazy" project according to Mom.

I was just thinking of getting a GPS nuvi for my car when I came across a website about GPS. Although I'm used to looking at a map, I think this GPS will be a welcome change. My old map booklet has been begging to retire already. Some pages, well actually a lot of pages have been removed from its base. Trust me, my map looks like a mess.

Black Diamond Earrings

I'm not into jewelry. Yeah, I like them, but I don't obsess about them. I saw these pair of black diamond earrings when I flipped on a magazine last week and they're simply gorgeous! I mean, wow! Talk about drooling over it. It's so crazy elegant! You get the picture? Now, that I like! Who wouldn't?

Wireless Routers

I just got mine. I'm tired of always almost tripping because of a loose wire that extends from my bedroom down to the kitchen where I usually do my surfing. I got mine finally and what convenience it is to have one. Thank goodness. I've looked around how much wireless routers cost and I got a good deal. I'm happy with what I currently have.

I heart spas. I like having one every week. Sometimes I wonder if it would be more fun to have your own spa facility at home complete with spa cover. Maybe it would be more exciting if you have them in your back yard complete with a nice scene. Instead of pool, I think I like this better. What would you rather have?

I just changed the batteries of my watches, bought new light bulbs to replace the busted ones and now I need to buy batteries for my wall clock and remote. so many things to do, so little time. Argh!!! Anyway, this green tea my friend gave me from mainland China is actually very good. I think I'm going to have another cup.

Andre, my nephew, developed interest on wrestling. Of all the sports out there, I don't understand why he got interested with wrestling. Good thing he's not practicing that in school. Ha! He asked his dad to buy him wrestling knee pads. Can you believe that? I'd understand if he's hooked with basketball, but wrestling??? Why, does he plan to do some wrestling with his friends? I hope not!

Management Jobs

I am contemplating on going back to work, maybe management jobs, since I'm already in sales right now just so I won't be wasting time. This will also let me earn additional income. At the same time, there will be no conflict of interest with my current job. I've been thinking about this since last year but I haven't finalized anything yet. Will do soon.

Barcode Scanner

Whoever invented the barcode scanner is a genius. This made shopping a whole lot easier. Imagine having to brave the long line of shoppers paying on the counter while the cashier punch the codes of the items one by one to the cash register. Now, all they have to do is shoot each item with their bar code scanner and ta-da! Done!

Gold Bars

I wish I can buy gold bars and just keep them for the future generation in my family. Haha! Wishful thinking, I know. What if there are gold bars hidden underneath your backyard? I imagine things a lot when I was a kid. What if's. Up until now, I'm all grown up, I still imagine things a lot. I imagine good things that can happen in my life. That actually is one of my way to reduce stress.

Wireless Cell Booster

When I'm in the office, I had to leave my phone at the reception area to get a signal. A client might be calling and my phone won't have a signal so I had to leave it there. The bosses already had a meeting on getting a wireless cell booster to improve the signal of our mobile phones when we're inside the office. But it was put on hold because we had problems with the building admin. We need them to approve our request to install one. I hope this pushes through soon.

Last week, I went to check on some new office shoes at the mall. I needed to buy a pair of black and a pair of brown. Then I saw a pair of silver and a pair of gold sandals that would look very good on shorts or even jeans. This is what I don't like when I go shopping. I tend to look and drool over those beautiful pairs of shoes and sandals. So what I do is talk to myself (hopefully not too loud for the others to hear) so that I can focus on only what I needed to buy. I go to the shoes womens section and try some on then off I go to resist temptation of buying more. Geez, sometimes it's hard to practice self control.

I bought a bottle of Green Barley as part of the few supplements I'm currently taking. I wanted to try this one if it's going to make any difference in my health. I'm taking just a few but for me they're the best supplements that is suited for my type of body and system. I take Vitamin C, Folic Acid, Malunggay Capsules, Calcium, Vitamin E and now Green Barley. Coupled with good food, walking as my exercise and a good sleep which I sometimes miserably fails, I know I am healthy.

I have been convincing my dad to stop smoking for more than a decade now. I don't know if I ever get some senses into him. The same way, I've been convincing my other friends to quit smoking too but wouldn't listen. I wonder how what will convince them to quit the habit?

Knee Brace

A friend who plays soccer had an accident last weekend where he injured his knee. He had a knee ligament injury that required him to wear a functional knee brace to work. This type of knee brace compensates for a torn knee ligament. He's in pain now but the doctor said he'll be fine. He's lucky to have had only that and not anything much worse.

My dad smokes... a lot! My uncle from the U.S. brought him imported cigars. I still remember some of the brands. There's Dunhill, Leon Jimenez from the Dominican Republic, Winston and Davidoff. He never smoked them, but instead he just gave them away. He smokes menthol cigarettes and won't puff any other. I don't know if that's good or bad.

Dog Obedience Training

I've always wanted a pet dog or cat, but given my current situation where I'm always out, no dog or cat can live a decent life with me let alone live just for the sake of living. I've had fur balls before and died too. I don't think I can bear to see a cat or dog died because of loneliness. Ha! I've always wanted to enroll my dog to a dog obedience training course or my cat to the same program. I wanted them to learn how to obey their master and how to behave. When I see these well trained pets on TV, I wish I have those too. Wouldn't it be cool to have pets so well trained?

I'm excited to go back to school! I've enrolled myself in our church's Every Nation Leadership Institute (ENLI) and classes starts next week. I'll be on my first year, first semester. Woohoo! ENLI is a two-year, part-time program that is purposefully designed to provide discipleship training and biblical teaching for people from all walks of life. You know, I never liked going to school before but this time, I'm looking forward to it. =D

TRUE FRIENDS ARE GIFTS FROM GOD

I was on my way to work this morning when I got a call from my very good friend, Corry, who has been like a second mom to me. She asked me if I was okay. I was kinda lost for a while and then she said she read or heard a news that the Philippines was hit by a strong earthquake. I was surprised because I didn't hear that from the news and I didn't find that in the newspapers either. Hmm... I'm quite sure I didn't feel anything. In other words, I didn't know there was an earthquake here had I not received a call from Corry and checked it on the internet. Thank God there were no casualties. Later on, I've read that it measured 6.8 on the Richter scale. It rocked the northern part of the Philippines and the southern part of Taiwan. Lord, thank you for sparing us. Another dear blogger friend of mine, Enid, emailed me weeks ago also asking if I was okay because she heard that China was struck by a strong earthquake too and she thought I was from there. Thank God I wasn't....

This week I thank God for:My new phone. I just realized that months back I told God that I wanted to buy a new camera and a new iPod video. I could buy them now, of course, by using my credit card. BUT I won't! That'll add up on my credit card debt which I'm trying to pay off the soonest possible time. But God knows what I want (read: not need) and He gave me a phone that has both a camera (better than my old one) and an mp3 player (like that of an iPod). And here's a bonus, it also has a video recorder. All in one. Surely, God knows better. A NIGHT OF JAZZ

Last Saturday after the church service, my friend Rolly and I went to join other friends at the Bahay Ligaya Restaurant somewhere in White Plains. There was an enchanting event produced by Norman Castillo - A Night of Jazz . Let me tell you, the food was superb! Love it! The place was so inviting, so cozy, so much like home. I'm not fond of jazz, really, but I know when someone CAN sing. Lovely voices, jazz singers Stella Ignacio and Fil-Jap Aisaku. I was so impressed with how good they scat. Wow! A guy who's far more senior than most of us, still very much good looking, Poch Suzarra, plays the drums excellently. Oh goodness, Mr. Marcie Estrella is an ace when it comes to playing the harmonica. Believe me, I was surrounded by beautiful and gifted people. The event was made alive by the very talented Jada. Weight Equipment

For some time I've gone to the gym to do some exercises which I thought would do me good. I still do think that way but my schedule wouldn't permit me to, at least for the past few weeks. I tried the weight equipment - the strength system which works to tone one's back and shoulders and also muscles. I remembered telling one of my friends that I needed to gain weight, not by gaining more fats but muscles. He said that he thought I look toned just fine. Hmm... I thought really? But I'm underweight.
