Ok, something that is not Forex related but I'm contemplating of using it to sell my trading strategy ebooks (once I get my act together and clean all up) in the future.I have tried selling stuff over ebay and yahoo auction but I would really love to have my products in a one-stop-shop with a proper shopping cart available for people to browse through and purchase stuff. I'm not that IT savvy and to build a website on my own will definitely be a big challenge. Importance of Insurance

Do you think insurance is important? I personally think that it's important in several aspects, especially when it comes to life, property, car, medical, travel insurance. I have met many insurance agents who try to sell me other products such as child education, investment related insurance but I find no interest in these areas. Medical insurance, for one, is definitely the most important, especially from where I come from, the medical expenses can be hefty!Talking about life insurance, I suppose it's really for the sake of your family, especially when you have many dependents, such as aging parents or young children. Property insurance is really about protection of your investment. Most would probably spend a lot on their dream house, thus, having a mortgage to repay. So, if anything happens to your house, all you are left with is probably the land value and a huge mortgage to repay. As I've been using Freedomrocks Hedging Tool for about a year now, it has really provided a good strategy for me to consistently grow my trading account "at the backend".At the same time, I still resume my normal trading, mostly adopting a shorter term strategy. I used to trade with a longer term strategy as I didn't really have the time to monitor the market that closely and used to hold a full time job. But since Freedomrocks takes very little of my time to trade, I've since spent more of my time trading on a shorter term.Trading is really an on-going learning process and there are still so many things to learn. Why Trade USDJPY??!

The creator of Freedomrocks said it once and again that he stays out of USDJPY in his trade. However, many still trade USDJPY due to the more attractive interest. But really, the USDJPY correlation with the rest of the currency pairs available on Freedomrocks system is one of the lowest.In the recent market correction, this is the difference between a person trading EURUSD hedged with USDJPY and another trading with EURUSD, GBPUSD hedged against USDCHF.Person trading EURUSD with USDJPY, draw down of the account of almost 70%.Person trading EURUSD, GBPUSD with USDCHF, draw down of account of about 30%.Look at the interest side of this two portfolio and you will realize that the daily interest doesn't really differ that much.Daily interest correct at time of publication, this is subjected to changes due to timing of allocation, capital invested, margin, etc.Above example based on capital USD10,000, trading 5% margin.So, please try to stay out of USDJPY, given that the correlation w...

Setting Alarm in GFT

For Freedomrocks users :If you are using GFT as your broker, you may set alarm on the graphs for the limit buy and sell so that you can be informed by text message or email when the limit orders are triggered.HOWEVER, for LIMIT BUY, please remember to put your limit buy price less the spread as the alarm alert is based on the Bid price. Eg. if you have set your LIMIT BUY for EURUSD at 1.3705, set the alarm at 1.3702 (spread of 3 pips).Just want to share with those who use the Freedomrocks tool and GFT as your trading platform as I recently received some feedback that the alarm was triggered but the trade did not take place. I've been using Freedomrocks for one year now. 15 Days Trial Application Procedure

Many have asked "Why the need to produce a form of identification to activate the 15 days free trial?" This is just to protect the company from getting fictitious person requesting for 15 days free trial that probably leads to ultimate lifetime of free trial.Anyway, when you are ready to start trading and in the process of opening a trading account with a broker, the verification process is much more stringent. Normally, you will need the following to be submitted to the broker in order to open a trading account :Form of identification (passport, drivers' license, etc)Utility bill or bank statement verifying your current address, usually, they would request for recent statement/bill.W8-BEN form for non-US resident. Just want to post in a quick reminder to users of this tool. Please remember that this is not a quick rich system and I just want to say that if you are patient enough to trade in conservative margin as well as avoiding JPY, this tool has really been great in helping many people's trading account grow.I would like to remind all to really leave JPY out of the trade although the daily interest provided by Freedomrocks' recommended broker is really attractive. This is just my suggestion but of course, the money is yours and you are FREE to manage it on your own.I trade 5% max now for my GBPUSD, USDCHF and EURUSD portfolio and it survived the recent market beating really well. Market Correction

For those who follow the market movement, a correction is underway (again). *sigh* that eroded part of my profit from May 2007 portfolio, but it's fine, at least I still get the basic 21% p.a interest paid daily in the current portfolio that I'm in. Stay tune and let's see how long this portfolio will take to exit. At the meantime, it's "rest time" for me.Another reminder for those who trade with this tool : I trade max. at 7% margin and even under major market correction, this portfolio still withstand all the harsh beating from the market movement. Slow & Steady

The portfolio I placed in early May didn't really move much in the month of May. But still, I managed to grow a little in my trading account. Now that we are in the month of June, I'm really excited about the end of the month to see how much my trading account has grown. So far, it has grown from the month of May and looking at where the market is, I'm optimistic about June's progress although I think it may not meet my own monthly return target. But as long as it grows, I really can't complain.This is a long term investment growth. To some other active traders out there, this may be slow, but I personally prefer consistency, well, slow and steady....wins the race.
