Since the market for the past two months were not that favourable in my expected returns, decided to just cash out first since the return % for this month was relatively acceptable. 2007-03-17 08:06:00 I am currently trading EURUSD and USDCHF, investing 7% (margin) of my capital in the market. This pair has been in the market since January and although it has yield positive net profit a couple of times when I check, but my approach is just to leave it there to yield the interest and to gain from the automated buy and sell for the time being. As most of you are probably aware of the drastic market condition during February, this portfolio and currency combination stood the test and the worst case scenario was that my margin went up as high as about 12%. It's already recovered and it's making +ve gains now.This is a stress-free way to trade and I use it as part of my strategy in approaching the market. Although I'm a trained accountant by profession, I knew for sure this will not be my long term career. I have not been able to close any portfolio because for the first time, I decided to go for the "safe pair" of EURUSD and USDCHF. Gosh! It's not moving anywhere, but wait...let me look at crystal ball....maybe there is a chance of closure by end of this month!!! Haha....just kidding, there is no crystal ball and we will never know where the market will move.
