Forget finance for a second, while we’re for these commodity plays to breakdown, check this out…First, the incredible website, ListenToYouTube.com—you type in a Youtube video URL and they extract an MP3 out of it within a minute for you to own freely forever. How great of an idea is that? And despite my stating in a Huffington Post interview a few weeks ago that I’d never give into the whole iTunes, well, I gave in, buying a Shuffle, which is good for workouts. Paying $1/song just was never in the cards for this cheap Jew so I’m glad this site came along or else I’d risk downloading nasty viruses. Don’t Short Sell Into Sideways Price Action Of Stocks That Are Still Up B

Lots of folks either have shorted or are thinking of shorting confirmed Supernova MXC here just above $40. Their reasoning—it cracked sideways price action, mistakenly believing it to be the kind of price action I always—or at least should always—look for before short selling one of these rocket ships. WRONG! My kind of sideways price action can NEVER occur when a stock like MXC is still up $13/share on the day, or on FPP yesterday when it was up $1.50/share, because the longs have no fear when their stocks are solidly up on the day and that opens to the door to potential end of the day and tomorrow morning at the market open short squeezes. Because they know lots of short sellers are salivating to short these things, just as they were on MXC at $15, $20, $25, $27 (me, but I covered quickly for a-now-proven-to-be-infinitely-wise 40 cent/share loss), and on FPP at $4 (me, covered again, wisely now it seems for a 20 cent/share loss) on and on…. New Website And About 20 Stocks Making Amazing Returns

Whatcha guys think of the new site? Me and my indians have been up like 30 hours now–with a few naps here and there–getting it all working! Lots of stocks in play, but sadly all of ‘em are energy/earnings and the few that are true pump and dumps are up, but not up enough…and lately even pump and dumps haven’t been getting dumped very easily…Anyway, here you go, in order of importance/likelihood of being a worthy trading opportunities… MXC, PDO and FPP are still at the top of my list, got 200 MXC and 1,000 FPP reserved, they all just keep going higher, squeezing stubborn shorts (feelin’ pretty good about covering my MXC at $27.50 and FPP at $4.13ish yesterday!). How I Screwed Up Shorting Cannon Exploration Inc (CNEX), Down 40% Today, Wh

Where do I even begin on this one. Like my previous near-perfect call on fellow joke of a company pump and dump VRML, my readers made much more $ than I did. In fact, I lost a bundle shorting CNEX the other day at $6, admittedly too early/forced to due to the circumstances, covering at $7.20 yesterday, not wanting to risk a big-time gap higher/possible short squeeze today. Fortunately for me, there were shares available to short this morning so I reserved 500 and as I posted HERE, I planned on watching this one all day, shorting only when the pattern was to my liking. After a slight gap higher, the buyers were drowned by sellers???we???re talking 10k volume here folks, nothing major???so I quickly placed an order to short sell with a limit of $7 when the price was $7.25 x $7.30???3 minutes later the priced had cracked big-time below my limit and it appeared I hadn???t gotten my execution. Just about everyone and their mother understands Cannon Exploration Inc (CNEX) is a an outright fraud. Whether you look at PinkSheets.com displaying a skull and cross bones with the tagline ???Caveat Emptor??? next to its stock quote, its now $470 million marketcap (at $7.25 stock price), the blatant pumping by all the usual suspects and the fact that this company has no business of any kind and has now septupled (7x) in price in 5 days all due to a fluffy PR announcing a new website and a sketchy letter of intent to acquire a seemingly real business, no doubt in exchange for pumped up shares. The popularity of last week’s entertaining but inevitably useless contest got me thinking–I wondered how many people would enter a contest where they might learn something, meaning they’d actually have to do a little work? So, I give you NT Holding Corp (NTHH.OB), a sketchy sketchy sketchy stock that decupled (10x) in price last week on some surprisingly not-so-insignificant trading volume. Feel Good Friday: Nailing A Perfect Short Sale On Vermillion, Inc. (VRML)

Was I bitter that a stupid mistake cost me between $750 and $1,000 in missed profits the first time VRML squeezed the shorts (as I posted helping other, not knowing I was already short!)? You bet I was! Was I going to let it influence my future trades on that stock or any other? Hell no! So, after surging pretty much straight from $1 to $5, back down to $3 and then squeezing a few over confident shorts to $4 in a few days all on an ill-researched media story, on Wednesday, I posted how I shorted 1,300 VRML (all I could find) at $3.75, a little too early, but I was confident since I knew this thing would be volatile and shorts would be aggressive.
