Late Night Breakfast & Proud BIG Sister!
2008-01-16 05:40:00 I noticed that many of you don't post much during the week, and that is obviously because you are all busy with the hectic days of your high school careers. I decided to try to type up at least one entry a day during the week so you all have something to read if you come onto the blog. It's almost midnight and I am eating a bowl of cereal (Count Chocula) as I type up this entry. It's really strange that if I eat cereal or any kind of breakfast first thing in the morning or anytime before noon I get very sick to my stomach, so I usually eat my breakfast at night. I don't really like to eat anything right before I go to bed at night because then I have really really bad nightmares. Tomorrow is Bobby's interview for his new job...*finger's crossed*...I am really hoping that he gets this job, then I won't have to worry about anything. He will have health benefits from the day that he starts, 401k plan, vaca and sick time etc. I am still going to work at the same place that we bot... AP Chemistry Homework...With A Twist
2008-01-13 05:58:00 Click to Play Nothing like doing some good ol' AP chemistry at night. And shall I add: literally, at night. You will see soon enough when you hit the 'play' button -- if you dare to. However, enough with explaining. There is nothing to explain! This video is meant to make your mind suffer and for your brain to lose many neurons. I'm sorry -- it just has to be this way. More About: Homework , Chemistry , Twist
I Hate The Phone!
2008-01-10 02:25:00 Click to Play I'm not much of a phone user. In fact, I hate phones! I would rather talk over a microphone, even if the quality was bad, than to use a phone with crystal clear audio. It may be the reason why I didn't use my cell phone in over a year. I really hate phones when people call me for homework help. This is one of the reasons why Lakeland Study Buddy (http://buddyfoote.110mb.com/lakeland) was created. I'm not much of a listener. I have to see to either explain something or say anything logical. When people talk to me about homework over the phone, I'm like catching a deer in headlights -- blind and dumbfounded. When people call me, I literally hear "blah blah blah". Yes, I would rather type than talk -- unless, like I stated early, I'm using a mic. And being that my new laptop has a built-in microphone, it's even better for me to talk on it. C'mon people, good mics only cost from five to fifteen dollars. And above is a video of myself, expressing my "... More About: Phone , Hate
Back To Work!
2008-01-09 20:53:00 Hello everyone, just a quick entry to let you all know that I won't be posting much due to the fact that I am returning to work tomorrow.....OH JOY!!!! Actually I am rather excited about returning to work, my husband and I have been laid off since Octoberish and I am going out of my mind being in the house all the time. It will be good for me to interact with other people , other than Bob. I love Bob to death but it's good to be around other people and to be able to conversate with others. Due to the fact that I have to return to work I have to change the schedule of my eldeset cat's medication. He takes phenobarbital because he takes seizures. I have been giving it to him at 9a.m. and 9p.m. because it is to be given to him every 12 hours. I am going to have to go give it to him around 6:30 in both the a.m. and p.m. now. I was giving it to him at 9 so I could still sleep in a bit in the morning. I think that it's going to be rough to get back in the groove of things wit... More About: Work , Back
The New Runescape Age
2008-01-06 19:41:00 I haven't played the popular MMORPG game known as Runes cape since June 2007, when I logged out for the last time in my kyatt clothing, dragon woodcutting axe, and my woodcutting skill cape. Well, that's sort of a lie. I did log in a few times afterwards whenever I needed a break from the PVP action on the new MMORPG that I fled to, World of Warcraft. However, ever since I left the PVP server of Azgalor and created a new toon, a troll hunter, on the PVE server of Whisperwind, I didn't have to flee from any PVPing as I was able to choose when I could PVP or not. Therefore, I barely logged onto Runescape at all. Even though I left Runescape almost half a year ago after playing it continuously for two years, I still read the news every once in a while whenever I remembered to. The news was good at first after I left the game, with promising updates (however bizarre to me at first) and new additions that would please many players, either new or old.Once November and December came arou...
Growing Up Is Hard To Do!
2008-01-06 12:25:00 I was just looking through some of the things that other's have posted on the blog and instead of commenting on every one individually I thought that I would just dedicate this entry to just that. First I would like to give Buddy Foote and Caitlin and big thumbs up on the excellent work that they did on putting this blog together.....Great Job Guys!! It really does look amazing, the layout is wonderful and there are so many fun things on it. I know that I posted a blog already about Lakeland and how you will feel once you leave there and yada yada, but I noticed that Caitlin mentioned some things in her last entry about having a talk with a few of her friends about what they plan to do following graduation and what not. I am not going to lecture (advise) you all that I have previously done, I just would like to make some comments and tell you all that growing up is hard to do. I am not trying to scare you or anything like that, maybe this is just a warning about "The Real Worl... More About: Hard , Growing , Growing Up
Let's Start the Year Off Right
2008-01-05 18:42:00 "Just aimless with each other - is what we do"My first entry of 2008...will be good. :) I hope. Well, I'll start by saying I updated/altered my mini-profile over on the left hand side. I like it more now. ^_^ I had a terrific New Year s and my mini-week back at school had been great. I mentioned in my last entry that I was spending New Years with my two superly friends and I did just that. The hours leading up to midnight we spent dancing to "Pump it Up" but after we got too hot we stopped and spent about three hours talking. I love when we talk like that, and it can't be forced. We call them "talks", [ha, yeah, good name] and we had a great one the day I had them sleepover my house, and we had a nice one that night too. I don't think I would have wanted to end the year any other way. We talked a lot about college and our plans of what we might want to do, and what our parents keep telling us, and how we're unsure/sad/scared, and it was pretty serious. The best part is... Wintry Weather Causes Me To Be Bored!
2007-12-31 08:07:00 First off I would like to wish everyone a happy 2008 (even though I am a little early). The snow is really coming down out there as I lay on my bed and type this blog. I guess that the snow is okay as long as I don't have anywhere to travel to, which in this case I don't. I can't believe how quickly this year passed. It really seems like only yesterday that we were welcoming the year 2007, now it's about to come to an end. I can't really say that I did anything exciting this past year, so I am hoping to change that in the coming year. Maybe take a long, relaxing vacation and maybe even like the place so much that I won't come back :-) , I am actually hoping to make something of myself this year. I am planning to go back to school for Elementary Education and land a teaching job at my old elementary school(that being Lakeland). I know that I have the brains and the determination to go back to school and achieve my dreams of being a teacher, but do I have the money. Sch... More About: Weather , Bored

2007-12-31 04:17:00 "2007 was good. 2008 will be even better. I promise."Happy New Year's, fellas. :) Technically that's a bit early, but I bet in places like Australia it's only a matter of hours for them now. Hours for us too...sorta. Yeah, you get my point. I haven't gone too many places the past few days, mainly because I haven't been feeling too great and was a bit sick. Everybody seems to be sick though. I spent a lot of time reading instead. Finished two books, working on starting a third. I missed that feeling of having a stack of fresh novels home and being able to get lost into them and binge-read. xD With school keeping me busy on most nights, I lose time to read like that. The first book I read was about a girl named Remy and her summer between senior year ending and before she left for college. I liked it a alot, even though the ending left things dangling, which I actually sort of like. The second I finished today was about a girl with an eating disorder and whose father d...

My Favorite Youtube Video of the Moment...part 1
2007-12-27 05:06:00 i'm gunna try to start a new segment to kinda compliment my 7 deadly songs segment. its called "My Favorite Youtube Video Ever of the Moment " and this is the first one. http://youtube.com/watch?v=rlQlCoVUm24... i'm starting with a really risque video. its the music video to the strokes song juicebox. the video has a really ____-sexual vibe. i left a blank cuz really it covers all the bases... it doesnt beat around the bush... it parts the legs of decency... it pushes all the right buttons... it makes love by the fire... it takes the flower... with out further adoooooooo. the video revolves around the band playing for a radio station while the host, "Woody", mispronounces everything and after they start playing he looks at porn. theres a lady and her dog, 2 girls, 2 guys, and a guy and a girl in a taxi. enjoy! 2007-12-27 01:17:00 Hello Everyone..... It's Jenifer, and I am still alive and well..... I hope that you all had a Merry Christmas and also that I hope you all have a Happy New Year. This post is dedicated to Buddy Foote, because he's been bugging me for several months to post a blog and now I finally got around to do so. I am writing this blog from my new laptop that santa (my husband) bought me for Christmas. This year didn't even feel like Christmas, for some reason I wasn't in the Christmas mood. It was still fun though.....just being with my family......well I hate to cut this so short, but I am about to go pig out on some of my mom's Christmas dinner leftovers.....Happy HolidaysLove,Jenifer

2007-12-26 18:35:00 "Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store, maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more."Merry day after Christmas! =) Hi everyone. Blog's been pretty active these last few days, that's great! Well, I just went to login on World of Warcraft when I got the message my prepaid time of playing was up. :( No more free trial. No more WoW. I was hoping after today it'd be up, not actually ON the 26th. :P I didn't get to play yesterday because Christmas is a busy day. However, I did play a lot the day before. My troll shaman creature raised a level, and I died 5 times finishing these two hard quests. I wanted to finish them, and I figured I'd keep trying and die each step I took getting closer. xD Got annoying after awhile..but I finished them! :P That probably wasn't the smartest way to go after finishing a quest, but now I am a little sad my time is up. It was a pretty fun game, had a nice adventure quality attached to it which I liked. :] I liked the scenery too but ... More About: Holidays , Happy Holidays , Happy

Have A Merry Christmas
2007-12-25 05:40:00 Current status: Sitting on my bedroom floor typing this up on my laptop at 11:41 P.M. at night while feeling shitty from having the flu as "They Might Be Giants" songs play in the background.Yes, it's Christmas Eve soon to be Christmas Day in less than twenty minutes, and I have the flu. It's only a minor version of the flu, thank God, but still, it stinks. Every new day presented a new sickness as the sickness from the previous day no longer existed. I don't want to know what I'll have tomorrow when I wake up. I swear if it's a sore neck, I'm done in for the day. Sore necks just ruin my day. I would rather take a migraine headache than have to deal with a sore neck. And when your neck hurts and you hold it in a position for an x amount of time and you then obtain a stiff neck -- then it's the end of the world. Anyway, I have been sick since Friday with a variety of symptoms. And yes, that means I wrote "The UPS Men: Part 1" while I was sick. I swear I have more motivation wh... 2007-12-23 07:32:00 I was finally able to use my laptop today after getting it back a few days ago, and therefore I was dying to type something up after that long period of time without my favorable laptop keyboard. So I present to you the first part of a small series that I'm going to be putting up here at BFBv.2. I'm sorry about my inactivity but it was due to the absence of my laptop and my disdain of my desktop's keyboard. I may post a personal entry before Christmas, but for now, I give you "The UPS Men: Part 1".THE UPS MEN:Part 1 Dear Diary,It all began on a Wednesday in the winter. The month, the year, the time; it all doesn?t matter to me. What does matter, however, is the event that happened this day. It changed my life and the life of others around the world. Seven Deadly Songs of the Week V.3.
2007-12-15 19:57:00 This is a weekly addition to the blog. I will in these sections critique songs I randomly pick and explain the strong and weak points and then rate them on a scale of 1 to 5. Overall is the average of all ratings prior to it. I will first be strict on all aspects. The ?My Rating? section has been eliminated seeing as I got made fun of for giving Fall Out Boy a 5. Whatever. Well, here we go. Reggie & the Full Effect ? Apocalypse Wow! ?Lets get it on!!!? I love that hardcore intro to this song. I am a big Reggie fan. This is really good if you?re into rock music with a big keyboard sound. He doesn?t have the best voice or lyrics. But the music is rather great. The palm-muted chords are a little repetitive but that?s okay. A good song to get pumped up. Song Meaning: Break-up song. Intro- 4 Verses- 3 Chorus- 3 Bridge- 3 Ending- 4 Instruments- 5 Lyrics- 2 Vocals- 2 Creativity- 4 Overall- 3.3 The Caesars ? Jerk It Out Haha, now this is a funny song. But it is still a good song. ... More About: Songs , Week , Deadly

2007-12-08 03:36:00 This is a weekly addition to the blog. I will in these sections critique songs I randomly pick and explain the strong and weak points and then rate them on a scale of 1 to 5. With that being said here is this week?s list. 1. Fall Out Boy ? Sugar We?re Going DownI know that picking this and telling you I like it may make you hate me, but you?re just gonna have to deal with the fact that I like this band. Look past the members, look past the success, and maybe you will too. This is the song that started the craze. It has an unmistakable intro, followed by a nice sung verse by Mr. Stump. It then escalades little by little until it?s finally unleashed with the chorus. And no one seems to know what he says but I?ll clear it up. At the end of the chorus he says ?Loaded God Complex, cock it and pull it. It?s a play on the f... More About: Songs , Week , Deadly

2007-12-07 23:49:00 Hey, "stud muffin." Yeah. ;] That's right. My chem teacher said that today. It stuck in my head like melted cheese on white bread. A blog entry in these here parts is waaay overdue. ;] I'm not sure where this one's gonna go, so let's hope it's somewhere good. :]I want some snow. I want some of that thick, flaky, white, powdery snow. The kind that falls all night long. Snow that piles up..1 foot, 2 feet. The kind where my school closes the night before. I'm ready for that beauty.People fascinate me. The way people act, react, look, and hide things from the world. I've been extremely observative this year. People are so different but they try so hard to be the same. They try to be accepted. They like and dislike things about every person their eyes see. Conformity bothers me when it gets to a certain point. People change too rapidly sometimes. I noticed certain people recently who have changed so much I'll never know them again. 2007-11-30 21:50:00 This is a new weekly addition to the blog that I?m hoping will become a pretty anticipated thing, much like Saturday Night Live, the next Weezer comeback album, the registered Independent Debate, and the next Window Shoppers Show. Bob & Bonnie This is probably the best song off of their album ?A Collection of Short Stories?. The first 10 seconds of this song let you know right away that this song is the real deal. It?s complete with a piano jingle accompanied by some feedback building up to the unleashing of the simple power chord. We Need To Read, Dammit!
2007-11-18 04:20:00 One thing that I have always done ever since I first began to read as a child was to read about video games. Not necessarily news about games (and I still don't as I just found out a few days ago that Super Mario Galaxy was out for the Wii and my mouth dropped, and also that I found out that Sonic was in Super Smash Brothers Brawl a week after it was announced) or even general info about the game, but I would actually sit and read walkthroughs of the game on the internet or in strategy guides. I would either sit on my bed as a child and read every article in Nintendo Power even if it didn't interest me or I would read through a whole strategy guide of a game, studying the pictures, tactics, bosses, etc. The funny thing is that I really never read to beat the game, but just to read about it. In general, you have a tendency to reads things more that you're interested in, and I guess I was extremely interested in video games and fictional stories. I specifically remember finding a g... 2007-11-16 00:53:00 Thursday night blog entries are extremely rare from me. xD The thing was, I just have no homework tonight and figured since I had an exciting weekend last and never posted an entry, I may as well take some time to do so tonight. :] By the way, having a free school night every so often is very enjoyable. :]Well, I have hugeee news! I got a kitten. An adorable kitten. The kind of kitten I wanted all my life. A precious kitten. A playful kitten, a curious one, not a scared one. :D :D :D :D Last week was tough with so much school work and other things going on, but then we got report cards and I found out I won Student of the Month which incredibly cheered me up. =D I was so consumed with school at the time though that when my father mentioned he was bringing home a kitten from this farm where he goes hunting, I didn't give it much thought. But first, my excuse for not posting here for a while: um...school and my fresh addiction to World of Warcraft once again, however there's more to it as you shall find out in the next few paragraphs. One of the biggest reasons why I didn't post in a while is because my three-year old laptop got a few trojans on it last Friday. It was late at night and I was trying to find this file before I went to bed as I had to wake up to go turkey hunting the next morning. It was already after eleven, so I was rushing to find this file so I could go to bed, otherwise I would be up all night looking for it and be a zombie in the morning. I was deep into the Google search at this point, where you have websites with ads covering the whole site, descriptions that seem convincing but the site is nothing useful, etc. At this point, I just wanted to get the file, see if it would h... I have a three-day weekend coming up next, and I don't have a clue what I want for Christmas. :P I actually spent some time thinking "intensely" if there is anything I want for Christmas this year, and I came up blank. I'm a weird child, I don't ask for much, and when I do ask for things, I am incredibly shy about it. :P However, having my laptop and iPod were the two greatest things I wanted and I love both dearly, so what more could I want? Then I was thinking, "is there anything I neeed?" The answer kept being no. :P I don't "need" a new coat, I have three of them, I just don't like the way they "look." Sure, my iHome is broken, but I can "live" without it....
