Slacking?
2007-10-16 23:43:00 Besides slacking highly on writing here at the blog (this is my first blog entry in October -- hurray!), I sense that I may also be slacking in school. My grades are not dropping (yet), but my motivation toward school seems to be altering slightly toward a more carefree perspective. I'm not sure if this is a good thing, as I seem to feel quite uncomfortable when I'm not sitting around stressing over exams and homework like I did in the past, but God does it feel good to just sit around, relax, or possibly hang out with friends online or through phone conversations. I feel like I can do normal teenager events while sustaining my grades at school, yet something doesn't seem right. I think the fact that I dropped anatomy in school greatly contributed to this new way of life. Not only do I not have to stress out over the homework, tests, and challenging material such as dissecting that the class presents, but I have a study hall now everyday where I can get homework and studying done...
Anne Frank
2007-10-13 17:15:00 This lovely care-free week that just ended alotted for plenty of free time after school where I had some moments to think and most importantly, pick back up on some leisure reading. I haven't made it to the library recently, therefore I resorted to choosing a random novel off my bookshelf. I chose one called "The Secret Garden." I've read it before, years ago, during the 4th grade. My teacher [whom I completely admired] let me have it, and I remember reading it shortly thereafter. Today I barely remember anything about it aside from a young girl and a key. Well, it was an advanced novel for a 4th grader, including difficult vocabulary. I had a hard time following the story at that age, so decided I'd give it a chance and reread it today at the level I am now, if that makes any sense. :P That way I could enjoy the story in a different way. I was able to start it this week and plan on finishing it soon. :]However, that's not my point. I suppose thinking back to 4th grade revived s... More About: Frank , Anne
Stick-It
2007-10-08 02:10:00 Hah, I like my blog title. :P I have a little story related to it actually. I was outside earlier, around when the sun was going down, just sitting on my swinging bench, when I look down at my feet and see this moving stick! I knew immediately it was one of those bugs that look like their surroundings. I'm not sure of the "true" name though. :P Anyway, it was really neat looking, and I could only remember ever seeing the leaf-looking ones before, and this one was a stick which made it even cooler to see. xD I then proceeded to let it climb onto my hand, but I screamed a little suddenly because it squirmed and it being so "stick-like" felt weird at the time, haha. It was fun to hold though and I went around carrying it to show everyone. :P I'm just that kind of girl where I like touching bugs I guess. ;)Moving oooon. Sadly, it's been yet another week since my last entry. Since anybody's entry, for that matter. ;P I miss summertime when I had the chance to write every other day if... More About: Stick , Tick
The Weekly
2007-09-30 02:40:00 Hello! Well, I believe Steve summed it up quite well in his last entry about the amount of work and overall school week-related stress that keeps us busy everyday. It's a shame neither of us can barely post, but at least we have weekends right? :P Last time I wrote about a new kitten that suddenly appeared at my house Friday after school. It stayed with us the entire week, and each day my family grew closer to it. We took care of it and even played with it. I really liked her, she was so cute, and really cheered everyone up in her playful curiosity over things. Yesterday [the most recent Friday afternoon], she disappeared and we haven't seen her since. We got some thunderstorms and my mother said she hasn't seen her since then. I spent some time looking around the yard for her, but had no luck. I'm not sure where she went, and honestly miss her. :P I think we all do because we were growing attached. It is ironic, however, how she disappeared exactly one week later just as sudden... Stress
2007-09-29 16:29:00 This is how I am almost every school day after coming home from school -- a workaholic and stressed out. Where's the summer where you need it? Honestly, I cannot wait until it's summer again. School this year is just too much too soon and is extremely stressful. I said this so many times in the past too about this school year, but it really is too much to comprehend. I mostly spend time doing homework after school from 3 P.M. to 10-11:30 P.M. and in reality, that's not right. This is the main reason why I didn't post in about 19 days. Of course the blog was able to be updated regularly in the past school years (10th and 9th grades) as we didn't receive as much work. Honestly, you would mostly have math, maybe English, and a five minute assignment in one or two other classes, and maybe a test that you barely have to study for because it's all matching or multiple choice and the answer is right in front of you. The most stressful times in those years were around midterms and fin... More About: Stress

2007-09-22 01:53:00 Phew. I really feel like blogging! It's a shame I am too busy during the week to sit and write anything then. I noticed blog stats seem to go the lowest then, and it's hard because there isn't much Steve and I can do when we are drowned in school work. ;P Well, I had a tough week. I am looking forward to the weekend and being rejuvenated for the following school week. Picture Day was Thursday, say cheese. xD The weather got warm which I enjoyed. I was sick with a cold though. I have this weird cut by my eyebrow. My thumb keeps bleeding since I whacked it hard off of something or other. :P I feel reaaaaally itchy. I am currently addicted to listening to the song "Dark Blue" by Jack's Mannequin. Big Brother ended this week. My English teacher told me my outfit was cute today. :] I like to sleep. I think cats are cool. &that's all my current rambling introductions for now. :]Yes, Big Brother ended Tuesday night with the season finale. I felt sad in a way because it is such a g... Help Needed: Blog Title Creator Job Opening
2007-09-16 04:56:00 Who is this man and why is he on my blog post? Maybe he's the new blog title creator? Please ignore the title above as it has nothing to do whatsoever with what you'll read in this blog post. When you have no idea what to put down as a title and you don't want to stick in the overrated and overused "Untitled", you need to create some witty alternative. So if you a professional blog title creator looking for a job then I'm sorry, I lied to you. Go back to searching on Google, however I prefer Ask.com. Why? Then you can type in "Where can I find a job opening for the occupation of blog title creating" and then Buddy Foote's Blog v.2 will be the first site up there and you'll click on it again and it'll come up in my "Recent Keyword Activity" on StatCounter.com and then I can make fun of you in my "Comment That Keyword" special that I didn't do in months. Yea, if you're a regular reader of the past and present, you may recall such a feature that I included in my blog posts that... More About: Creator , Opening , Title
Busy, Busy
2007-09-15 04:35:00 I know, I bet you all probably miss me dearly since I haven't posted in about two weeks, but here I am, reporting back to you my life, rants, and experiences. And what reason can be used this time against my inactivity? School. Yes, during the summer I had unreasonable excuses such as spending hours playing a computer game or staying outside long and getting tired, but when you have four things for homework and two to three tests to study for all in one night, then that is the best excuse in the world. It's not even an excuse but more of a limit. Honestly, if you've been writing for six hours in school, taking notes, doing homework, taking an essay test, etc. then I doubt you would feel like coming home and after all that homework and studying write a blog entry. However, not a lot of high school students have their own blog either and if they do, it's not updated regularly. Actually, most of the blogs owned by high schoolers can probably be found on the popular website of MySpa... More About: Busy

2007-09-15 02:43:00 Hola amigos! :) Senorita Caitlin es aqui escribir. Ooo now, mi espanol actually might be bien! ;P Well now, I just got back inside from a fresh walk around my large backyard. It's almost dark, but not black yet, it's at that stage of day where the sun is gone and everything is just "gray" and getting darker by the moment. That time of evening is actually growing as my favorite. I love how just before when I was outside the wind was blowing brisk at times and everything around you has this black and white shade to it. The clouds in the sky were threatening and bats circled overhead. Wow, I'm growing poetic here now in a way, but really, it was so, awesome. xD Anywho! My brother, dog, and I wandered outside for a late day walk to the deep back of our yard to see if we could hear any noise from the home football game currently going on. I live close enough to the school that this is very possible. I could be at the game right now I suppose if I chose to go, but I simply felt like st... More About: The D

2007-09-10 00:09:00 If this week is any clue as to what is to come, then this school year is going to keep me mighty busy. :P Therefore I've decided to try my best to write a blog entry at least every weekend, since that will probably be the only time I have the most "free" time. ;) I think I ended up doing that same thing last year too anyways. I'll either catch up on events of the past week or ramble on about nothing worth your time. xD However, it is a gorgeous day today, and I am sitting outside wirelessly on my laptop, in a hammock, underneath shady trees, (considering I am hot from riding my bike beforehand). ;P It's quite cool how I can be online in new and unusual spots. With a desktop you have to be at your, well, desk. With a laptop, wherever your lap can travel, it can travel too! :PAnyhow, like I said, I was busy this week with school and then your everyday busy-ness. I did get online for a few minutes during thhe week here and there when I had time to spare, but I only did a few things....
The Cottage
2007-09-04 02:34:00 I figured I'd better try to write again before the school week returns, since I never know how busy I'll be after school and don't want to end up waiting until next weekend to write about the weekend before. :PI had a great time this weekend! :] My friend Nicole invited me to come with her to spend the weekend over her cottage at the lake. This was my first time there, and it really felt like I was on vacation in another state. x) Their cottage is adorable, with small rooms inside, and it was fun because I got to share a bunk bed with Nicole. When I first got there, Nicole and her friend Annabelle were riding their bikes so after showing me around a little, I got to go bike riding too. I did a lot of that while I was there, and it was really fun because you just have numerous little dirt side streets and paved parts of road that you can take up and down small streets lined with cottage after cottage [each with their own dock on the lake]. I enjoyed that, and it got me more famili... More About: Cottage
Blog Update: Money
2007-09-03 01:30:00 After playing World of Warcraft for the majority of this holiday weekend, I have developed an idea for a new blog feature here at BFBv.2. You may recognize three new icons underneath the pictures of the fellow blog authors on the left sidebar. These icons, used in World of Warcraft, represent the three types of currency in the game -- copper, silver, and gold. So why are these icons placed here and what purpose do they serve? The amount of money underneath the author's profile depicts how much money they have in their inventory. No, not real money, but fake money that they can earn by participating at the blog. The activity at the blog lately has been slow and only two blog authors out of the five post regularly, so I was desperate in trying to come up with a system to hopefully motivate the other blog authors to post more. Now, what exactly is this system and how can the authors make cash? The currency system is as the following:100 copper () = 1 silver ()100 silver () = 1 gold ()Th... More About: Money , Blog , Update
Wisdom Comes, Wisdom Goes
2007-09-01 19:00:00 Where did this past summer go? Honestly, all I remember is hanging outside with Craig sometimes, having sleepovers, doing community service for the National Honor Society, going to Hersey Park, going to my hunting cabin twice, and playing World of Warcraft on and off. Otherwise, the summer literally jumped from July 11th to August 29th and school was back in session before one could fully take in the relaxation that the summer vacation offers. This summer was a very carefree one, however, and after a stressful school year, it is well worth it to just sit back on the computer doing whatever the hell you want or go sit outside without that worry in the back of your head that you have tests to study for or homework to complete. But alas, the new school year is here and more worries, more stressful attitudes, and more challenges await. One of the things that I hate about my school's yearly schedule is that we go back to school before the holiday weekend (Labor Day). Honestly, what are ... More About: Wisdom , Goes

2007-09-01 04:42:00 Hey yuns! I like saying "yuns" now. Want to know why? Sure you do. My favorite band, Family Force 5, speaks that way because they are just a hunk of southern crunkers that have stolen my heart and ran right out of Warped Tour with it. xD By the way, I've been advertising my brand new fanlisting for them lately, and so far so good! =) Please check it out/maybe join for yourself here!Wow, I have to thank the [currently] six different people that commented my last entry! That's terrific, thank you people, it's pretty fun coming online and seeing somebody read a thing or two from my blog and left me a lil love, hehe. ;]Well, "yalleventh" grade has started! [As my friend wrote in my journal ;)] Wednesday was my first day, and it was a very nice day. The only problems I had was that I developed two terrible blisters on the back of my ankles due to new shoes and the fact my socks didn't stay up. However I just have worn open shoes everyday since and even tonight as I write this, pus is...

2007-08-28 02:26:00 Let me start out by saying that I have some really spectacular friends. :] I know for a fact that my summer would not have been as fun without them. The other day I was reflecting upon my summer and couldn't believe this one is almost over. I really don't feel as though school is just two days away. Honestly, I feel like I have two months left of summer. xD Someone told me their summer was one of the best ever, and I have to agree with them in saying mine was too. :] I've always loved summertime, and usually spent them laying around, running outside, or playing some type of game in past years just at my home, and then you'd have my one week vacation to the beach. This summer was not like that. This summer I did so many things with all my friends, whether it be together or at seperate times.=) If I look back on my calendar I can see that I spent some super fun time with a friend or two at least one day every week this summer. That was great, because it's something I always told ... More About: Campo
Welcome to Buddy Foote's Blog v.4!
2007-08-26 18:50:00 Yes, it is finally here. After a long wait and for the makers of it (Buddy Foot e and Caitlin) going through hours of extreme headaches and thus the abuse of pain-killing drugs, the 'Buddy Foote's Blog v.4' layout is now released to the public! Now I'm going to come out and warn you right now: We have been having problems with this layout displaying on certain browsers, screen resolutions, and computer monitors, so if you see any problems with the layout or if any glitches occur, please contact me or post a comment here as soon as possible! But other from that, I hope the layout displays good for you and thus you shall be able to breathe in the beauty of it. The 'BFBv.4' layout takes the form of a three-column blog with four different sections divided up in the columns -- Blog Authors, Blog Stuff (such as archives, counter, etc. and there is no image to depict this section), Blog Features, and Affiliate Section. I hope the contents of all the sections work properly for you and ...

2007-08-21 21:45:00 *The following article is for informative purposes and is used with the 'Buddy Foote's Blog v.4' layout:Upon the release of the 'Buddy Foote's Blog v.4' layout comes two new forms located on the right sidebar -- one underneath 'Blog Features' and the other underneath 'Affiliate Section'. These forms are used to effectively communicate to Buddy Foote or the other blog authors for stated purposes. The one form is used for 'Ask The Author' and provides an easy way to ask a blog author any question you desire, and the other form is used for the 'Affiliate Sign-Up' and provides an easy way to become affiliated with BFBv.2. However, with the way the forms are set up, you have to send an e-mail for the receiver to receive it. There's no advanced features here, such as having the form save the posted information to another file on a server and then having that process so it sends to the receiver without any manual labor from you. Author of the Month Archives
2007-08-21 20:30:00 *The following article is for informative purposes and is used with the 'Buddy Foote's Blog v.4' layout:Buddy Foote's Blog v.2 has a unique blog feature that one will not find anywhere else in cyberspace. This feature, called 'Author of the Month ', has you, the citizens of the internet, vote for your favorite author here at Buddy Foote's Blog v.2 depending on the posts they have written that month. By having this feature, the authors of BFBv.2 may feel good about themselves if they're elected the title 'Author of the Month' and may brag to fellow peers in the outside world, as their fellow peers stare at them strangely and walk away from them. But what an achievement of winning this little contest be and you, fellow reader, must decide who shall be 'Author of the Month'! The Layout Continues
2007-08-20 22:17:00 The new Buddy Foote's Blog v.2 layout is still in development and I'm happy to say that it seems to be coming out great! I just finished up the layout of the layout today and all we need to do is add a few banners that Caitlin will be making as well as filling out sections left undone and various other unfinished elements. This layout caused multiple headaches in the coding stages, but thankfully it should be coming to an end by sometime this week and you'll be able to see the new three-column Buddy Foote's Blog v.2 before we start to head back to school. The new layout will actually have a few unfinished parts due to not having contact with some blog authors and thus not able to get some needed information from them, but such can wait until post-release of the layout. It was quite a long and windy road to get to the point where we're at today, but hopefully the hard work of Caitlin and me will pay off and others will enjoy the new layout the way that we do. I will have to make... More About: Layout , Conti
High School Musical 2
2007-08-19 18:17:00 Less than a month ago I finally got to see the original (and first) "High School Musical ", the movie on Disney channel. Friday was the world premiere of the sequel, "High School Musical 2". Now after seeing the first one I literally fell in love with the movie and the actors! Therefore I was just pumped and could not wait to see the sequel, as I had enjoyed the first one so much. =]Well, just a few days ago I was invited to go to my friend Ashley's sleepover birthday party on Friday. I was a little sad because I wanted to get to see the movie the day of it's premiere. :P Everything worked out just fine though. I knew ahead of time the movie would be on a lot, so went to Ashley's and had a good time. Despite being very tired last night from sleeping about an hour the night before, I stayed up to "party with the Wildcats of East High" to watch High School Musical 2! :DIf you haven't seen it yet, I won't spoil many details, but I'll just say how FANTASTIC I thought it was! 2007-08-14 00:39:00 Entree tyme. :] I'm listening to FF5's new audio blog as I sit and take my second attempt to write a blog. I wrote the whole thing this morning, but then it accidently got deleted and I lost it. :[ I haven't been online since Thursday and it seems I have some catching up to do. :P I do have some good news to announce! I checked my e-mail earlier and I have been officially approved to run the main Family Force 5 fanlisting!! :D I am so thrilled! I cannot wait to finish setting it up! :]I spent most the weekend over my friend Heather's house, and the second half swimming at the pool. :) I had a lot of fun. Heather and I went shopping and played outside most of the time. The animals up at the barn are doing well, although the second kitten had ran away a few weeks ago. =/ The other kitten Smokey was still there, cute as could be. It was fun playing with her. She'll chase and pounce at anything we use. We also ran across the street and climbed the fence to see the two horses, Belle... More About: Entree
The New BFBv.2
2007-08-10 17:09:00 August seems to be an extremely inactive month on the blog, with only two entries excluding this one. However, there is work going on behind the scenes that one cannot see that will come at you fast when it is completed. Buddy Foote's Blog v.2 is going to get a haircut, a shave, and get some new clothes when the new blog layout is released later this month. How far are we in on the actual production of the layout? 0% done. Yes, we're doing good, aren't we? You may be able to add one or two percent in there though because I have come up with some ideas for the layout, including new blog features and the whereabouts of where certain page elements will be placed. Caitlin is helping a lot too. Caitlin is the brains behind CSS programming, logos and other images, and much more. She pretty much constructed the second BFBv.2 layout, which you may be viewing now depending if you're reading the entry around August 10th, 2007. I want to do a bit more work myself on this one which translat...
Only The Really Real
2007-08-05 18:52:00 Hi ho, hi ho, here on the blog I go. xD I feel like I haven't written in ages. See, my last entry was extraordinary. Not only was it huge but it was filled with so much joyful emotion that I think it wore me out. :P Therefore I didn't even let myself think of writing another one for many days. Actually, I wanted to write one mid- week but that never occurred because I got distracted with other offline events. I just woke up before and with a freshly revived mind I'll try to remember the things I did since my last entry and write about them. :)Monday I had my friend Heather come over. I mentioned entries' ago that I set up a tent in my backyard. Well we finally made plans for her to come and camp out with me. ^_^ It was a lot of fun, and she spent almost two days over so that was cool. She has limited internet access at her own home, so when she comes over she loves the freedom and time I give her to go online my laptop to do any&all the things she wants [mostly myspace, but y'k... Ganked
2007-08-03 10:21:00 'ello there. I feel like writing a late-night entry so therefore it's going to be short and not too witty. I was just on World of Warcraft for around a half hour and was in Loch Modan (God only knows why I was there) and thought that I would start to quest in Stranglethorn Vale. I was always afraid of this zone as it's one of the most active PvP zones, but Craig gained about two to three levels in the zone so I knew that I would have to try it. I have to hurry up and level so I can do some battlegrounds with Craig once we're both 38-39. Craig got far ahead of me, though, and therefore he created an alternative toon to keep him occupied while he waits for me. Now in that half hour I was on, I was ganked twice in this same area working on the same two quests. I went to the Rebel Camp and got two quests and headed over to the area where I had to complete the quest at. I'm there, killing some medicine men and fighters when I notice a red dot coming out of the jungle on my mini-map ...
Too Much Too Soon
2007-07-30 21:25:00 First of all I must say sorry for not posting in a while. In short, a lot was going on and my WoW addiction is picking up, so therefore I spent most of my time wandering around with my pet wolf on a video game than doing effective things with my life. Honestly, I don't even think yesterday existed to me. I played WoW all day, watched a movie, and fell asleep. I know, what a fulfilling day, eh? I hate those kind of days. I mean, the summer is pretty much over as at the end of next month we're going back to school, I still have two more books to read, and community service to do, and I spend a very valuable day that I'll be longing for come November doing nothing. Those are the kinds of days where I feel like I have no energy and I am the laziness master, but hey, we all get those days sooner or later. Friday night I was at a camp-out with friends and stayed up for twenty-four hours, so really I do have an excuse for being lazy. I was dead tired. This whole weekend I only slept app...

2007-07-29 03:52:00 !!!!!!!!-flips out- Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. In all seriousness, I am getting to the point where I don't know how much longer I will be able to have enough humanly energy to flip out as much as I have in the past few days!! It has taken me all this time to compose myself and calm myself down enough to write a legible blog entry. 2007-07-25 18:02:00 Hi, I am back and I brought another thrilling post about my life. Wait, before I get into my stories, I want to say that Caitlin leads me at the polls, I accidentally voted for myself before I read not too, so she leads. Any who how is everyone doing. It is good to know everyone commented on my last post like I asked to, for my question about socks....well too late now. That makes me question if there really are readers at this blog, not just the writers. Well, I started golfing two days ago. Of course it was not real golf, virtual golf on the game Hot Shots Golf Fore. It is a real awesome game though and Buddy, I recomend you try it, it is a real good one. It is challenging but fun, and the mini golf is great as well. Also, about one week ago I finished reading To Kill a Mockingbird, so I started to read the narnia book about lions and witches. I really hate it and it bores me. I do not see why that book would be reccomended for freshman to read. Thank the foote that it is short wi... More About: Screen , Phone , Post , Call , Minute
