I hate to announce this, but I am debating with myself upon the virtual fate of one of the five blog authors that make up our family here at Buddy Foote's Blog v.2. The blog author is Jenifer. As you may or may not know, Jenifer lost her internet around last October/November around the time she joined the blog, and was only able to publish a few entries since she arrived. Being in finical situations over getting laid off regularly, car payments/insurance, rent, and even simple factors that we may take advantage of such as food and gas money, it didn't look like they were going to obtain the internet again for a few more years. And recently their car, after finally paying off all the payments, broke down and they didn't have the money to replace the engine in it (thankfully my father was very nice enough to "give" his old car to them). I always had this hope that Jenifer or her husband or even both would obtain this good-paying occupation and be able to finally start off on a bett...

About three different topics to talk about in this blog have been floating around in my mind the past few days, and of course, me having the hardest time making decisions ever, cannot choose which to stick with for this particular entry. Therefore I will probably jump all over the place to talk about each and every one. :PFor some reason I feel cranky right now, most likely due to my increasing hunger as I wait patiently for dinner. I have no other reason to be, but it seems every so often I have these days. :P Anyways, that isn't even important, haha, but it isn't helping that I have the largest pimple I have ever had smack on my forehead! xDYesterday I went over to my darling friend Heather's! We had a "grand ole time." :P Luckily, the rain held off the entire time I was there, so we were able to play around outside a good bit. We headed up to the barn where I was overly anxious to see these two new baby kittens! And boy were they not the cutest things ever!? Ah I couldn't sto...

Conflicts, Conflicts, Conflicts
2007-07-19 19:02:00
You may know that when a multitude of conflicts is present in a story that it makes the story interesting, dramatic, and controversial, thus making the story enjoying to read. However when applied to the real world, a lot of conflicts present in one's life does not make the life too enjoying but rather makes living that life troublesome. Everyday, however, new conflicts are introduced. A new block is added to the 'conflict tower' multiple times throughout the day. They may range from your best friend's dog getting ran over by a SUV to several US troops getting shot down in the Iraqi war. They may not directly apply to you, but will affect you sooner or later down the road. And the worst thing to do is to cause conflicts yourself, but it is almost inevitable to do so. Accidentally spilling the milk while pouring it over your breakfast cereal is just a minor conflict you may think, until your mother finds a little spot you forgot to wipe up and flips out at you, thus making you fe...

Can I please kill the Mockingbird?
2007-07-19 17:23:00
Yesterday I finished reading "To Kill a Mock ingbird". I do not get what makes it such a famous book. To me it is just a story about some kids lives and a hermit. Can someone please tell me what the hype about that book is all about. In other news I have recently developed a hate for South Korean merchandise. I wanted to buy something on ebay from there, but when i calculated shipping it came out to $19. The item was like $18.50. School has been lurking at me from a dark closet this past week. I signed up for metal shop, eventhough my friend Corey said it could lower my gpa. I told myself last night that I would just have to work extra, extra hard, but I still feel weird about it. I guesss I should start getting ready for school as well. I made of list of things I will need. A nice zipper binder, two clickster 5 lead pencils, and 4 packs of 5 lead. That is all I shall need. I really do not care much for my freshman year approaching. Last year I had 11 study halls every 6 days. Now I ...

Hi everyone, it is myself, the one and only skunk at the blog. Skunk meaning my hair condition not a bad odor. I was sitting here and thought I could come by and drop a post. One thing I want to make clear in this post is that I want my banner thing changed...... And just to say what i have on my mind.I have been playing RC Tycoon still, but since my sister cannot keep up she is holding me behind. My sister has a few friends that I feel are on the darker side of things, if you catch my drift. She thinks I am just jealous. To be honest I am not jealous, just expressing my opinion, which seems to be not allowed by my sister but I shall do it here. I have mixed feelings on the upcoming school year. I do not want it to come but when it does it may pose to be a challenge. I will deal with it then. Basically I have no life, but to people who do I would like to know what someones life consists of. Do you like go places, and hang out with people? Please comment an answer. By the way I would...

Banana Splits, Fruit, and Culture!
2007-07-15 01:42:00
Mmm. I just finished eating some really good ice cream; Banana Split . :D I never had that before, and surprisingly enjoyed every last bite. For those that may not know, a banana split has strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate ice cream together with banana and chocolate syrup on top to finish it off. I don't like trying new foods, and am very picky when it comes to eating something I never had before, so when I saw pink ice cream in my bowl I raised my eyebrow and questioned what it is I am about to eat [since the only ice cream I ever had was vanilla, chocolate, or the green mint kind]. Nobody would tell me though until I was near done. I then started to eat it up and it tasted sooo good. Then I kept saying "I taste banana! I taste banana!?" Haha I am pleased I enjoyed it and tried something new. Goes to show that it can be a good thing to do that! ;) When I was real little I ate a strawberry once at my aunt's house and I thought it was so disgusting. Ever since then as I grew up I ...

Yesterday I was sitting at my laptop upstairs in my room playing World of Warcraft (yes, it works again) just hearing the word that my nephew and niece were going to stay over when I heard hurried footsteps storm up the stairs. An excited voice streamed its audio throughout the house as I geared up with my earplugs, bronze med helm, and -insert random WoW armor here- and waited for the creature that would bring doom to my eardrums. A vile beast it was, however it took the form as an innocent and young five-year old child. I turned to face my fate face-to-face. My ears started to bleed already from the banshee. I looked around my room for my dagger, but only spotted a wireless USB mouse, a random "Butt Ugly Martins" action figure from Burger King, and a broken ruler. Out of ammo and weaponry I was. The target found me.My nephew was here, and with him in his hands the device that can turn all evil -- a sexy, sleek black Nintendo DS. I recently loaned him my Super Mario 64 DS game cart...

2007-07-11 18:14:00
Hey there. I feel like writing a short entry, so we'll see where this goes. Before I go any further, I absolutly have to say thank you to the few people out there I am unaware of who voted for me in this blog's last Author of the Month poll. :D I am flattered and shocked I won, let alone got the votes I did from people I don't know. ;) So thank you so much! =)Well, it's been really hot the past three days, and I only got to go swimming on one of them! Stinks huh? :P It's alright though, I kept cool and played Roller Coast er Tycoon a lot because the room my old desktop computer is in contains the proper "fixings" to stay cool, haha. :) I like playing rctycoon. We have the oldest one I think and it's lots of fun trying to win scenerio after scenerio. My brother and I work together as a team, and split the parks up. I'm working on "Bumbly Beach" currently, one of my favorites, being it is a beach and all. ;) One summer my brother and I almost won the entire game, but then I thin...

2007-07-10 18:55:00
Listening to the song "I Feel Fantastic" by Jonathan Coulton, I realize that I don't feel fantastic at all. I have been doing community service over at the Jermyn Park the last two days for NHS service, and just from picking weeds I feel like crap. I have no experience whatsoever doing it, so I hope that I'm actually doing a good job and not some half-ass piece of dung job. Really, my typing finger is in pain. And the bad part is that I still have a lot to do. I only worked on maybe 1/4 of the garden. It's a very long garden too, located near the parking lot. Yesterday I just pulled out the big weeds and today I focused on the smaller weeds in the same area. And with this heat wave just happening to pop up when I have work to do doesn't aid me in any way. Well, it has to be done I guess and the people at the borough are happy that I'm up to do it, so that makes me happy in return. I wish I had some sort of t-shirt that was blank where I could write "buddyfoote.com" on it to adv...

Hello everyone. It has been awhile hasn't it. A long while at that. I deeply apoplogize from my haiatious. How are you all doing. Physched about summer or jazzed about school? Me, well i have just been going on with my crazy radical life....would a "lol" be proper here? I see many changes have been made, most noticable the url, and i would like to chip in to pay to the dot com.I recently (today) started reading the book To Kill a Mockingbird. So far it is very boring and I am confused of the gender of Jem, Scout, and some others. Ooooo, blogger now saves my drafts automatically, something I could of used a while ago. I also started to play an old game again recently, Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 from 1999. I thought it had been destroyed forever, but I somehow saved it on a backup disc. I think it is real fun and it allows me to be creative with my designs and go out of this world with crazy designs such as underground rides. I will include a screenshot of my latest park I completed, Mi...

What luck! x.O It's kind of unfortunate but at the same time expected, haha. Every summer it seems I have internet problems. I thought maybe it was understandable since we used to have dial-up back then and such. Well, I misled myself in thinking that getting spiffy high-speed internet would mean fast loading pages, no more buffering for music and videos, and no more breakdowns where I'd have to wait and wait for days to go back online. :P The first two dreams came true, and it's been the best ever since! :D The only thing now is that our internet has been 'broken' for a week, maybe more [depending on how many more days are going to have to go by before I post this]. The last time I was online, like really able to use the internet, was Sunday July 1st. It's Saturday the 7th now. :( I miss the web, haha. A guy was supposed to come out Thursday to give us a new modem or something, but when our internet magically came back early that morning we cancelled that appointm...
Cabin Log '07
2007-07-04 00:43:00
Sunday, Monday, and today I have spent my days at the hunting cabin that my father is a member of up at Stephen's Point in Susquehanna County. Naturally, I take my laptop up there not to be far away from my "high-tech" electronics, and because there's no internet, I'm stuck to writing up little journal entries in Microsoft Works. These entries are filled with bitter feelings, light feelings, and pure ranting. And well, a little bit of day-to-day activities. So get ready as this entry may blast you away due to the length. Yes, I do get a bit carried away.Monday, July 2nd, 2007: 12:04 A.M.If you were to ask me my ideal vacation spot, I would not respond with the beach, any city, or any foreign country, but rather I would proudly accentuate my passion of coming to the hunting cabin that my father owns a membership of. I have mentioned this cabin multiple other times in my blog entries, and also wrote entries from the cabin like I am now, but I thought I would try to open this up in ...

Hey there =) Well, I have a good excuse for having not written in a week. You know I like to write every two days if I can in the summer, but that didn't work this week because I was just toooo occupied! The week started off real hot so I went swimming for the day. Then when the hot weather was leaving, we had like two days of thunderstorms, ahaha. :P The first day my internet got knocked out or something because it didn't work. So there goes another day. Once we got the internet back I was jumping out of my chair to start in on my reconstruction of Starry Bliss, my personal website! Elle offered to host me [I mentioned this last entry] and I agreed! :D Being that I have never been hosted before, I had a few things to learn. On top of that, before I would even consider opening up my site I wanted a new layout and just new new new everywhere xD I spent that entire day squat in front of my computer working on Starry Bliss. I made a new layout, added new content, and updat...

I had a revelation. Actually, more of a breakdown, if you will. :P Yesterday evening I went practice driving for a good chunk of time. It went as well as my previous times, until we were heading home. :P Now that I think of it, maybe even while I was 'practice driving' I felt as though as I was holding something back inside of me, and I guess I was.I turned sixteen back in January and haven't gotten my permit yet, but like I said in a blog about two entries ago, I had come to this 'plan' that I'd definately go before school started again and then I'd do this, followed by this etc which would in turn kick-start my driving priviledge. The one and only reason I was going to do that was because I figured I 'should' start learning how to drive a good amount of time before I go off to college by myself where I wouldn't want driving to be on the list of my worries. I did not want to drive, so that was pretty much my only reason for considering it. :P Yeah, maybe you are super eag...

Hm. So I am writing a quick blog entry now because I really just want too. :] I have other things I should be doing, but no, they can wait, as I am just in such a blog writing kind of mood. xDI've just done much of the same since Wednesday. Although yesterday and today seem to be so chilly. Not cold by any means, but I think the weather has been funny. Let me tell you why. After a long cold winter, when spring and summer hits with temperatures rising in the 70s and 80s, you feel so warm inside, as though your very bones are thawing out from the icy breath of winter's past. Then your body gets adjusted to this toasty, fervid feel, and you make arrangements accordingly as to how to organize your attire to be comfy and cool [ie. shorts and tanks]. You may even have tidied your bed to hold a thin blanket instead of your winter wool quilt. See, that is similiar to the case for me. I am given a taste of the real warm weather, and snap, the next day the wind can be gusting mak...

Author of the Month
2007-06-22 16:56:00
As you may or may not know, BFBv.2 has been slacking when it comes to the five blog authors that compose the content of the blog. Most of the blog authors in the past months hardly contributed to the blog by not writing a few blog entries, and most of the entries you have read lately were written by Caitlin and Buddy Foote. Thus I have put together a sort of contest to motivate the other blog authors to write at the blog more often and to write good quality posts. The contest has just kicked off today. More information will be provided below:Banner created by Caitlin. The banner above will be rewarded to the author who won the vote for 'Author of the Mont h (x month). The banner will be placed underneath their picture in their short profile located on the sidebar for the following month. When the next AotM is voted for, the banner will be removed and be placed in a future AotM archive, listing past AotM's so that we will never forget their achievements. Hopefully such will motivate ...

You would think that an individual who recently got World of Warcraft would be crazy over the game and try out every single class on every faction on several realms but is the individual, Buddy Foote, going crazy like this? No. I only have two toons on two different servers -- Buddyfoote [Dwarf hunter][level 22](PvP) and Buddyfoote [Tauren warrior][level 6](RP). I only created my Tauren last night after I died about three or four times on my dwarf in Redridge Mountain. Cause of my death was some level 70 Horde players. I didn't want to leave the area but at the same time I didn't want to die again (I swear they had a sixth sense because wherever I went they happened to be there) so I said, "Screw this, I'm making another toon on a non-PvP server." I only leveled him to six and then I logged off for the night. I played only on my Alliance today, where the only things that I achieved were getting a few xp for level 22 and obtaining the flight path for Darkshire in Duskwood. I was a...

Summer Fun Ftw
2007-06-21 03:21:00
Well hello there youngin'. Time for another entry by me, Caitlin. I've been pondering over this entry all day too so hopefully I can make it as nice as it was planned out inside my head. :P You know what I can't believe!? The fact that last Monday was only my last day of school and summer doesn't 'officially' start until tomorrow! Isn't that cool? I think so, because when I reflect back, last Monday when I went into school for that hour up until this Wednesday feels like an entire month in itself. I have done quite a few things it feels like since then, and knowing I have all this summer left looming ahead of me is stunning! x) I really must say, Summer 2007 is starting off pretty dandy but there is room for some improvement. ;] It was quite hot Monday and Tuesday so I spent my day swimming. I absolutly love to swim, seriously, I bet I could make it as a fish. :P Then today was too cool for swimming, so after catching up on a few things on the computer in the morning, I went ...

2007-06-20 05:47:00
I'm not having a good day today when it comes to the hidden and rather nasty surprises that I have been finding. And the funny part is that the both of them I just found out less than an hour ago, and the day is almost over.Today on World of Warcraft, I was pretty pumped up. I was level 19 when I logged in today, and I kept on thinking to myself and even exclaiming out loud, like an idiot, that in one more level I could finally wear mail armor. I did a run of VC today again (we defeated Mr. Smite and then I had to log due to a thunderstorm, however Kyle, who was doing it with me, finished it) and I knew that the next time I attempted it, at level 20+ with my stunning mail armor, that I would own the competition. Well, I was in Westfall/Duskwood training for a bit to get Kappa, my pet wolf, to level 20, and then I flew to Stormwind to travel to the hunter master. I was excited that I would finally be able to defend myself in melee combat without getting huge chunks of HP reduced fro...

There's Life, and There's WoW
2007-06-19 04:47:00
I have to say that World of Warcraft is one helluva addicting game. I honestly feel like today did not exist as I spent the majority of it sitting on a chair playing an MMORPG on my laptop while my window fan is on high and I'm feeling good. Not really. I did conjure up quite the headache from staring at the computer screen for so long. Then when I went outside to go swimming, bam, the sun. Instant headache. I really need to cut down on the amount of time that I spend on World of Warcraft. The past few days I played for only an hour to two and then I was off for the day, but today I just kept on playing. Maybe the main reason is that it took about two hours just to get ready to run VC (the Deadmines instance) and then when we're about to get to VanCleef, everybody has to go. That was probably a good thing as everybody besides me died at that moment and I only had about 400+ light shots left for my gun. I didn't want to die again (I probably died three to five times while doing VC...

-rubs head- Agh. I still have this headache I've had since around noon. :P I went out shopping early this morning [too early for a Saturday x)] and so was tired to begin with from a sleepover I'd been to the night before. Wal-Mart was overcrowded as usual, and I guess I was in my 'tired daze' and it was so crowded all the people walking past me made me dizzy and I got a headache? :P Hah, that's the theory I am sticking with anyway.I haven't been home since my last blog entry actually. I spent two days with my bestest Heather. =) I haven't had the opportunity to sleepover her house in a verrry long time, so we were pumped and made a big deal for this event, haha. We did so many different things, not sure I could even remember them all. We spent most of our time outside, or inside eating&watching DVDs. I love going up to her family's farm. I brought a digital camera over this time and we took many pictures, but only kept 20 of them that we really liked. =]So, first we went up ...

2007-06-15 01:47:00
I'm sure that if you do not know about World of Warcraft by now, either by just hearing about it, reading about it, etc. then you pretty much live inside of a cave far, far away from any humanoids, er, I mean mankind. World of Warcraft, the well-known MMORPG created by Blizzard, has recently been introduced into my life and has been abducting it for the last four days. In my last blog entry, titled 'Good Bye Runescape?', I brought up concerns about my feelings toward the previous MMORPG that I have played for over two years of my life, which of course is Runescape. I pondered at that time if I should quit Runescape or not. Should I play a repetitive game that has become more of a chore than a fun gaming experience or should I take the fun route and get World of Warcraft? In the end, Runescape membership was canceled, I gave a small amount of my items to Craig (he was mad at me), and I bought World of Warcraft. A new adventure was about to begin. In Runescape, I felt like a noble k...

Summertime blog entry! Woo. :P Let's see, what have I been up to? Not enough, that's for sure, haha. I feel like I have so much energy and free time lately that I want to run around my backyard if I have nothing else to do. I maybe should get a job, but y'know what I was told 'i have no need for one now' and 'my pay would barely cover the expensive gas to slug me there' x) Therefore if I don't get one this time around, I'll wait until I absolutly need money [as in when I have to pay half the insurance for my car when I start to drive]. :P I decided I will make it a point to dedicate plenty of time to writing a blog entry every two days minimum, unless something comes up or I feel incredibly lazy. You all can relate to those lazy hazy summer days cant'cha?Well I went into school Monday for that one hour I mentioned last entry. 2007-06-10 04:18:00
I just want to put up a quick announcement that I may forever be leaving the world of Rune scape that has been brought to you by Guthix, er, I mean Jagex Ltd. Yes, after my two year playing career on the MMORPG Runescape, achieving many goals such as making new friends, getting 99 woodcutting, getting 100 combat, and getting 1610 total level, my account known as Buddy Foote will forever be preserved in the basement of the Lumbridge Castle after I got my last level of my career in Runescape -- 83 fletching. Runescape was fun for the two years that I have been playing it. Friends came and went, many writings on this blog were only possible due to my activeness on the game, and I learned many values, whether they be minor or major. For example, Runescape helped me write an accurate account on medieval warfare for my culture's research paper, as I could relate to the topics I looked up with Runescape. However, over the last month or two, Runescape became dull to me and I lost interest i...

Yes, my blog is a little later than promised, but I simply ran out of the necessary time needed to compose a naturally lengthy entry yesterday, thus I am sitting here now, on my first afternoon of summer 'break', bringing you the events in my life the past week. And boy, was that a big sentence or what? :PWell, last weekend was my good ol' beastly buddie's 16th birthday supreme. (We'll refer to her as Abby under these circumstances.) She had a terrific birthday party, packed with fun, and then I went home. The End.Just joking, could I ever be that discrete? I think it's a habit that I must go into detail whenever possible, otherwise I feel...incomplete, let's say. :P I went over to her house Friday night with another beastly buddie I heart, Nicole. From there Abby had to decide where we were going to go. :P Last minute deciding kind of people, just like me. x) We ended up going to Burlington for a shirt Abby desired, and then the mall where we did nothing but walk a...

Hey guys. I just wanted to post this memorable blog entry now, rather than wait until later. I have been pretty occupied with finals this week, and last weekend I did a lot with my friends so didn't have time to post a blog entry. (Another reason I want to write a quickie up now.) I'm not going to school tomorrow, and already have it planned to write a long catch-up entry about some fun events with my friends and the such. =) Then, Friday is my last day (I think report cards won't be Monday..so I guess I don't have to go :P ) and that means school will be over. I do have plans this weekend with Nicole and friends as she's throwing her 16th birthday party. After all that I'll write another entry and want to get focused on helping the blog and helping Steve with his list. Special Entry
2007-06-06 15:21:00
Why is this blog entry so special? Well, because it's Buddy Foote's Blog v.2's 400th blog entry! The blog will be two years old come July 24, so we have accomplished at least 400 entries in less than a two year period of time. Yes, the blog has had long periods of inactivity and the fact that we have five blog authors also contributed to the mass boom of entries, but do you know what I have to say? "We need to do better." Starting this summer, as I stated in the blog entry before 'Aeron and Foote #1', I have composed a to-do list that us here at BFBv.2 need to carry out. I just hope that the blog writers here, including myself, have the utmost motivation to post as much as possible. However, quality over quantity, so one large entry twice a week may equal five entries created throughout the week. As far as I know, Joey and Jenifer may be the only "handicapped" writers, as they either don't have access to the internet or the website. Caitlin, Chase, and I have no excuses, unles...

Well, then get prepared to venture on such an adventure. With Aeron's permission, of course, he is enabling me to put up some of our best live conversations, which, for me, are saved in the AIM logger. The conversation that I'm putting up today is from yesterday, June 2, and I was going to make this entry yesterday but after going to the worst carnival in the world at my school, I was brainwashed and forgot all about it.
