What Wedding Invitation?

Hubby asked me this morning about the wedding invitation from his soon-to-be-groom comrade. I told him I did not receive any invitation. He said the RSVP invitation had been sent for almost 3 weeks now and the guy was waiting for his response. I asked hubby if it was sent to the right address and he said ?Yeah, but I don?t know where he got our address. He had been here before, right?? Hmmm...it seems like the invitation is lost or something. Oh well, I hope the invitation will arrive home soon.

The state is currently experiencing haze and it is expected to leave by Sunday evening, but, the weather will include a mix of light and shifting wind, afternoon showers and volcanic haze over most of the state. We are planning to go out later today, but it seems like isolated showers are now precipitating. Might as well bring umbrellas with us then.

It has been 2 days now I receive moola from PPP. I am so happy that I finally get payments from the paid posts that I have been writing since last month. Nappy Time!

We don't have a baby yet so our lil' dog is our baby at the moment. Haole loves to go for a ride, take a nap, spend outdoor activities with us, and he superbly loves to swim on the beach and in our hot tub. Just like any other babies, he can be cranky or even fussy, too. This sweet, smart dog won't sleep if I am not on his side. He follows me around the house very much like a puppy. Believe me he can snore out loud when he is tuckered out. He is just as cute as a button :)

Hubby and I went shopping last weekend and he bought me Betty Crocker's 100 Piece Cake Decorating Kit. He knew I am a baking junkie but not cake decorating. I told my hubby that I will make my own birthday cake instead of buying one from the store and he agreed. I grew up with birthday cakes prepared during my special day but never got the chance to make one for myself since we don't have oven at home (P.I.). I've been watching videos and read articles online and I come to realize decorating a cake takes a lot of patience and practice, especially with the icing. I heard about marshmallow fondant cake so I guess I want to try that one, too.

I just read an article from inquirer.net about our country's population as of this date which is 88.57 million in 2007. This is really alarming. According to Former Health Secretary Alberto Romualdez, we are going at 2 million persons a year and that is part of double whammy with respect to food. Do we have enough supplies to feed the masses mouth; especially the prices of commodities are pricey at this time? On the other hand, an increase of food prices will eventually result in hunger, unhealthy and uneducated children. Do you want our fellow countrymen to suffer? I hope the government will address this problem sooner or later before this problem will get worse. I think our growth spurt will lessen if there's a definite Family Planning Program from the government to the masses. My eyes are sore and so my butt. I have been online for 5 hours without resting (my new record!). My head is about to explode and it seems like all of my brain cells are dead now. An Orlando TV station is relating an eruption of e-mails and cell phone videos from the Florida Hospital Medical Complex where an unexplained image of crying Jesus took place in the hospital prayer garden window. The "unexplained image" drew a lot of people to tears and they snapped photos using cellular phones before the image vanished.

According to the latest news, Britney Spears was enveloped in a minor traffic accident last Saturday night. California Highway Patrol Officer said that Britney was driving her 2008 Mercedes when the accident occurred. She was in a stop-and-go traffic when her MB struck a 2006 Nissan in front of her that had stopped. The front car was forwarded into another vehicle. And no damage was taken to any of the vehicles. Luckily, when the patrol made a report, nobody was cited and no one was injured at the incident.

Here's just another healthy recipe I found from a magazine. I have tried this one and it's perfectly delicious. I love the blend of oyster sauce and hoi sin sauce, plus, a little bit tangy flavor is delectable.1/2 pound ground pork or chicken3-4 lup cheong (chinese style sausage). chopped fine6 shiitake mushrooms caps, chopped1 can water chestnuts, drained and chopped1/2 cup chopped green onion1 tablespoon oyster sauce1 tablespoons hoi sin sauce1 teaspoon minced ginger root1 teaspoon cornstarch1 tablespoon waterbutter or red lettuce leavesDirections:Saute all ingredients except cornstarch, water, and lettuce. Combine the cornstarch with water; stir into hot mixture. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. To serve, spoon about a tablespoon of the mixture onto lettuce leaves. Recipes makes 6 appetizer servings.
