2008-05-31 23:50:00 Hello blog readers, allow me to introduce myself - I am Ariel Silverstein , son of the late, great Larry .It must of come as a surprise to find my father (Larry) had not been posting here on this blog for many months.It is sad, but I must break the news to you all that a few months ago (the day after his last post here in fact) he was diagnosed with testicular cancer which had spread to his stomach and had made him very ill. He even managed to crack a joke about his orchiectomy (testical removal operation) when he realised the head surgeon doing the operation was one of G-d's chosen ones.It was sad to see once a great and proud upstanding man lying in bed in agony as slowly and painfully my poor father lost his battle with this disease.After several months of grieving at his loss I thought it was time I informed his loyal blog viewers and friends who it seems had quite a high regard for the man.Now as my father is Jewish I know that I will see him again once our King is crowned, all ...
