Arby's Buys Wendys

Let me tell you, Arby's food tastes like crap and you never see anyone there. Wendy's on the other hand actually has decent food and they serve health food options for those not looking to swallow the slop that's served at Arby's. People I know across the country say the same thing. I had Arby's food once and said I am never eating this again. However, against my better judgment, I gave it two more shots and still it was atrocious.Well it was announced that Arby's is buying fast food giant Wendy's for a little over 2 billion dollars in an all stock deal. Wendy's has about 6,000 restaurants in the United States and Arby's has more than 3,000. The CEO of Triarc (the franchiser of Arby's) will keep his title and will become Wendy's CEO.At the current time of this posting, Wendy's (WEN) current stock price is 26.69 and Triarc (TRY) is up to 6.49 a share.

Please guys, when buying flowers at least look like you're making an effort. Going to get gas and picking up the $9.99 bouquet in the convenience mart doesn't count as making an effort. I would love to get flowers for no reason. However, I would rather get flowers for no reason every few months that are from a florist then get a bouquet a week from a stand or the gas station convenience store. Why? Well first off the convenience store and stands have their flowers sitting out all day and I doubt that changing the water is top priority. Those flowers could have been sitting out for days for all you know. Second a florist is a florist for a reason. Would you go and buy gas from a florist? As if politics weren't dramatic enough between parties that it needs to be dramatic between individuals not involved (i.e. the everyday citizen). The reason I thought about this is because I read someone's blog where a little girl told her mother that she would vote for a certain candidate who happened to be of a different political party then what the family usually votes for. The retort from the parent? We just don't do that in this house. Yup. I went to unplug something, reached to pull it out and apparently the tip of my nail touched the outlet (I don't know what exactly it touched, I wasn't looking). All of a sudden my body shook as I felt a horrible pain shooting up my arm. I grabbed my arm and wouldn't let go of it because it hurt so bad. My thumb (the nail that hit the outlet) had black on the tip of it. Hearing that "bzzzt" noise isn't so pleasant either by the way. Now, six hours later, my arm feels like someone beat the living hell out of it. So, since my arm bothers me more when I type, I'm going to avoid typing a long post tonight.

It's been going on for about a week now. It's the euphoric type of love, the kind you can't live without. The floors are being cleaned without me being in the room. I've been swept off my feet.
