2008-05-16 19:05:00 Here I am at 26 and sometimes I wonder how the hell did I get to where I am today? How have I let someone control the last 4 years of my life? While everyone else has been out living their life I have been hiding, living a shelter of a life based around someone else's existence. While everyone has been going on vacation with their boyfriend and getting engaged and going to to dinners, I have been surviving on phone calls and emails and brief meetings. What the hell was I doing? I am so mad at myself for wasting my life, for actually thinking that I meant anything and for actually thinking that he cared.

2008-04-22 03:05:00 Saturday is a big day for me. It is the christening for my boss' son. This is a big fancy event with a big fancy party afterward at one of NYC's most prestigious venues. Needless to say, it's a big f-ing deal. I have the dress, the shoes, the bag, the coat and of course the diamonds, everything except a date. Now, here I am days away scrambling to find someone to go with me. The worst part is last week I introduced Mr. Ex to my boss and my boss thought he would be coming with me and was all excited. Today I had to tell him the bad news that he wasn't coming and then I had to go to Starbucks because I started crying. This sucks, bad.

2008-04-18 19:41:00 I am currently sitting at my desk with 4 helicopters buzzing around in the sky. They are super close to the building. The reason for such maddess? The Pope is in town and more specifically, he is going to give a mass right down the street from here later today, right around the time when I should be done working. It should super fun getting home. Maybe I can get a lift in the Pope-Mobile. He wears red Prade shoes, I have red hair and sometimes wear Prada shoes, would would be a match made in Heaven. Ha! Ok, I'm not going to joke around about that anymore, a lightning bolt might get me later if I don't stop.

2008-04-16 16:46:00 His plane is leaving JFK in like 20 minutes. It makes me sad but we had an amazing, amazing 6 days. We got things out and we told each other things that no one else in the whole world knows, really, no one else in the world. Minus the trip to the emergency room for the my possible broken arm (which is now a lovely shade of blue, swollen and hurting) because we were drinking all day and spinning on the sidewalk, it was such an amazing time.Details to come, as I figure them out myself.

They are lost, confused and terrified. They don't know what to pick and they don't know if the girl will say yes. Instead of chocolates and what not, I got a real confirmation of feeling, I got (143.2). After almost 2 years of not saying it to each other, now, it is out there floating around again. He said he loves me and I love him too. He is still on the other side of the world, yet he has been emailing me like a fiend. I don't know what it is going on, but I like it for now I guess. He said he got me something and it's purple-ish, I wonder what that will be. I really don't know what is going to happen with this, but it feels like we have really started over. 2008-03-17 00:31:00 A year ago today, I was in LA, at Mr. Ex's. I had moved home to NYC just a few months before and everything was going good. We were hiking and eating at our favorite spots. I got a new tattoo and we were having a great time. I had forgotten about all of this until Mr. Ex brought it up on the phone this morning. He has been calling a lot lately, from the other side of the world. We talk for an hour or two and laugh and give each other advice and listen to each other bitch. Things are good, the only problem is, I have started dating someone new. Someone I like and someone who I have fun with as well.He lives only a few blocks away and I met him on the subway. He held the doors open for me while I tried to squeeze in and then he put his arm around me to grab onto the pole in a total non-creepy kind of way and we started talking. For instance, a family member of mine is having a charity auction for her organization and she needed items. I asked and Mr. Ex is getting me a signed guitar for her, no questions asked. He didn't hesitate, he didn't say "I'll get back you" he said yes, immediately and flat out. So, for all the bad things, there are things like this.
