BREAKING NEWS!Kim Chiu at Gerald Anderson were removed in the upcoming ABS-CBN show of Toni Gonzaga and Luis Manzano entitled Crazy About You (it would possibly compete with GMA's I Luv NY).The high ratings of Kim and Gerald's edition of Love Spell (which posted 18.4% over GMA's Love to Love which only posted 12.4%) pushed ABS-CBN to give them another show. ABS-CBN should also expedite their plans on Kim and Gerald's first movie entitled "First Day High " (named after the song of Kamikazee) as the public demand of Kimerald grows.They also strongly support this film which is being co-producted by Star Cinema at Rexona. Geoff Eigenmann will be the Rebel High, Maja Salvador as the Sosi High, Jason Abalos as the Nice Guy High, Kim as the Brainy High and Gerald will be the MVP High.

Yesterday, ABS-CBN's new show, Pinoy Dream Academy showcased the top 30 NCR qualifiers. One by one, they were presented to the televiewers with their different audition styles. Well, all of them are definitely GREAT!! I liked the contestants of PDA than in Philippine Idol. Though, in its first episode yesterday, it did not reach my expectations. Sam Milby has probably the best hosting skills but he has also the worst speech skill (his speech delivery kills) especially on Filipino. He deserves a lot. Yesterday, the Phil ippine Idol premiered in ABC-5 for the first time. The show exceeded my expectations. I thought that it would be a boring one, but I was wrong at all. It was interesting to watch the people who auditioned and the judges namely Pilita Corales, Ryan Cayabyab and Francis Magalona with host Ryan Agoncillo.The show is really interesting because the judges' reaction on every single person who enters the audition room is different. It may be shocking, emotional, elating or just normal.The lucky persons who auditioned were jumping, crying and even shouting. But, if there are lucky ones, there are also unlucky... Tears filled up the lobby of the audition room with others who prove themselves with strong fighting spirit.Actually, I am definitely disappointed with ABS-CBN's decision that Pinoy Dream Academy (PDA) be shown on August 28, 2006. President Gloria Arroyo already left St. Luke's Medical Center this Saturday at 9:40 A.M., after being diagnosed with influenza.She has fully recovered from flu but still, doctors recommend her to rest for the whole weekend.She was rushed to the hospital Thursday after showing signs of flu.After discharging from the hospital, she shook hands with the people in the hospital lobby. No government officials were seen around at that time.She said she will stick to her 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. rule for public engagements and keep her dinner engagements light to avoid stress.
