‘The L Word’ Star and Olivia Partnership Reaches a New and Broader Lesbian Community Leisha Hailey is the brand new spokesperson for Olivia, a lesbian travel and entertainment community. The actress and singer (yes, she's also in a band, and I did not know that!!) will appear in commercials, online media and print ads to appeal to a younger and more hip audience (this does not mean they don't want an older audience... Do not feel offended!). Also, Leisha and her band Uh Huh Her (funky name!) will be part of vacation packages! Which means you only have to book a holiday to meet her. Pretty cool actually!... Ellen Degeneres was very close to being political on The Ellen Degeneres Show, when she told the viewers about 15-year-old Lawrence King, who was allegedly shot dead by a fellow male student, because he had asked the guy to be his valentine. What is wrong with people these days? Why is the homophobia so strong? We live in 2008, and love should never be punished or looked down upon. How the hell can two people loving eachother be a bad thing?? I'm just curious, cause I personally think that the world needs more love to keep on existing. Not only do some people think that gays and lesbians shouldn't have the right to adopt children, it has moved on to pets...A Swedish (yes you read it, SWEDEN, one of the most liberal countries in the world) lesbian woman has won a case against a woman from Stockholm, who refused to sell a puppy dog to the lesbian woman and her girlfriend.The lesbian woman contacted the dog owner via an ad in the local paper, and appearantly the dog breeder found out that her buyer was gay, so she refused to sell the puppy.The lesbian woman reported the narrow minded dog breeder for discrimination, and thankfully she won the case!The dog breeder claimed that she refused to sell because she had been in contact (whatever that means) with transvestites before, and she had read that they liked sex with animals and animalporn (a ? is suitable here....)That's the lamest excuse I've heard for years. But thank God they still give us the right to adopt animals (however long that might be true).

It's all good in Denmark for us gays, we finally get equal rigths in the matter of adoption. Only problem is, that very very few countries in the world are actually willing to let gay couples adopt any of their children... Only few Danish kids are put up for adoption every year, so the chance of getting a baby if you are a gay couple is extremely small.I for one am happy with the new law, I just want the rest of the world to change their perspective as well! A small thing, that will never ever happen, unfortunately.

The nametag doesn't have a name on it, instead it says "homosexual".The poster is part of a campaign in Tuscany,Italy against discrimination of homosexuals in the region.Obviously this does not make the Conservatives in Italy happy. The want the poster off of the streets. A spokesman says : "It's an outrage to use an innocent newborn baby to promote something so wrong as homosexuality." "Homosexual tendencies are not something you are born with", claims the Conservative member of Parlament, Luca Volonté.The Canadian organisation Emerge is responsible for the campaign. Emerge is an organisation whose purpose is to fight discramination against homosexuals. Like any other blog, I added mine to Blogrush the other day, to get more traffic and because I thought Blogrush was a good idea. Not any more...My blog got rejected on these grounds:Reason Your Blog Wasn't Approved:Inappropriate Content Or Advertising: Obscene or DisgustingFirst off all, where is my obscene and disgusting content? I can't see why they would reject my blog other than some sort of homophobic reason. I'm gonna write them a mail, and complain. If they don't respond, I'm gonna throw a hissy-fit right here on the blog.They should be sued...Of course I'm not 100% sure that is why I got rejected. But obscene and disgusting?!? Seriously, that's just dum.:(
