San Antonio Spurs 83 Sweep Cleveland Cavaliers 82
2007-06-15 12:49:00 Today the San Antonio Spurs won their 4th Championship since 1999 by sweeping the Cleveland Cavaliers in game 4 of the NBA Finals. The Final score was 83-82, but really that doesnt really show how easily the Spurs beat the Cavs in the series.Tony Parker, the speedy little Frenchman, lead the way with from the point with 24 points. He was also awarded with the Finals MVP award after averaging 24.7 Points Per Game. Most of which were scored in the paint as he drove his way to victory.Manu Ginobili had 13 points in the final quarter to bring him to 27 for the game, and was the dominate force as usual (ignore game 3) off the bench.Tim 'The Reason' Duncan is definately the reason why the Spurs have won the championships they have. He was solid today scoring 12 points and 15 boards.Big Game/Shot/Block Robert Horry managed to pick up his 7th, yes thats right, 7th NBA title with todays win. 2007-06-11 12:47:00 Game 2 of the NBA Finals Series took place just hours ago and the San Antonio Spurs proved that they were too much for the LeBron James led Cleveland Cavaliers running out 103-92 winners.This score does not fully state the dominance of the Spurs. Straight from the outbreak the Spurs were in control. Bowen was on James like glue, Parker was making outside shots, Duncan was unstoppable in the paint and Ginobili came off the bench with a spark to light Texas.Tony Parker finished with 30 points, Manu Ginobili had 25 and the big man Tim Duncan ran in 23 points, 9 Rebounds and 8 Assists.Robert Horry who is chasing his 7th NBA Title was a great bench player for the Spurs too. On January 26, people from Perth , Australia gathered on a local beach to watch a sky light up with delights near and far. Nearby, fireworks exploded as part of Australia Day celebrations. On the far right, lightning from a thunderstorm flashed in the distance. Near the image center, though, seen through clouds, was the most unusual sight of all: Comet McNaught. The photogenic comet was so bright that it even remained visible though the din of Earthly flashes. Comet McNaught continues to move out from the Sun and dim, but should remain visible in southern skies with binoculars through the end of this month. But, if anyone's curious to know, I'll do my best to condense all the events of the past year and a half in a couple of sentences.Basically, I followed my heart, which lead me across the world to pursue my feelings. Now, I find myself blissfully engaged to the most passionate, kind-hearted and extraordinary man I've ever met. Together, we are about to embark on what promises to be a wondrous adventure. Journeys don't really end at lovers' meeting, as Shakespeare had once said.And so, a new chapter of my life gracefully unfolds.My story is a powerful, heart-warming and inspiring love story; it is one about indomitable love, endurance and sheer will, guided by a keen intuition.Was it really written in the stars?
