Is it safe?
2008-02-27 04:43:00 I’m not sure if it’s safe to breathe around my house or not. Between the levels of germs that are floating around and the amount of Lysol that I have sprayed, I don’t think it’s safe for me here. It seems that the kids were passing the evil virus back and forth. I’d get Kel better, spend the next 24 hours trying to get Jesse better, then go back to taking care of Kel. It was about to get the best of me. They’re still not feeling normal yet, but I think it’s over. I swear, it seemed like they had taken some type of colon cleanse product. I am so glad it’s over… I just hope that it really is over this time. More About: Safe
Bow Chicka…
2008-02-25 02:54:00 Wow… I’ve really been slacking around here lately. I’m not online as much as I used to be, but I’m trying to get back into the swing of things. I’ve let work slip through my fingers, I’ve neglected some very sweet online friends, and I have no excuse. I should be making my comment rounds tonight, but if I don’t, then you can expect them tomorrow. I actually do have an excuse… Most of us have been sick over the past week. Jesse is just now getting better and Kel seems to be where it all started from… He’s our very own “Germ Carrier”. Anyone want him?… Kidding… Really, I am.
Worried
2008-02-25 02:51:00 I’m getting a little worried over here. We have decided to do some major home improvements this year and I’m not sure we’re up for it. The work alone is going to be rough, and I’m not even thinking about the cost yet. I know we need to check out some directbuy sites that can help to save us some money, and I hope I get to before we start. So far, the plans include putting a deck out to the pool so that it’s easier to get Jesse in and out. We also want to make our bathroom larger… That requires us to give up the guest bathroom and make it one large room. I don’t have a problem with people using mine, it’s not like we’d have people off the street just dropping in. Anyways… We have to get this stuff done, and I’m not ready. More About: Worried

Keys 2
2008-02-10 04:45:00 In love, you feel the most alive when your partner is patient and never willing to give up on you. Patience is a wonderful thing. I don’t think that I could be with someone that wasn’t patient, and I know that is a large part of the issues that Keith and I have. I have to have someone that is dedicated to the end, and well, he’s lacking that as well. I think I am too dedicated. There are things in my life that I should have given up on years ago, and yet, I’m still sitting here patiently waiting for it to work out. Sometimes life throws you lemons, and well, I hold on to them. More About: Keys
So Sad
2008-02-10 04:39:00 I really need to get some type of health insurance on myself. I go and have my normal check ups done, and that’s about all I need a doctor for. So, I don’t worry with insurance. I figure that the cost of it is way more than my once a year visit, but I know that if I ever had to have more than just that visit, it would be very expensive. So, I guess I need to check out some individual health insurance plans and pick one. It would be better to pay for it than it would to need it and not have it.
Keys Part 1
2008-02-09 02:09:00 I did a meme a while back and decided to break it down into smaller sections so that I could think about it. I really think it nailed me… The first thing it said was: You are attracted to good manners and elegance. I believe that good manners can take you almost any where you want to go in this world. There’s nothing more attractive than a man with manners. When I think of elegance, I don’t think of someone that wears the nicest clothes. Instead, I think more in the way a person carries their self. This goes hand in hand with good manners. If you don’t treat someone with respect then there’s nothing elegant about you. If there’s nothing elegant about you, then you can’t hold my attention. Therefore, you stand no chance. More About: Part , Keys
Will it work?
2008-02-09 01:46:00 I started doing our taxes last night, and I’m not too happy. I knew me making money and not having taxes taken out of it would suck, but I didn’t know it would suck so badly. The good thing is that I can deduct certain things like supplies and such. I am thinking about adding in the cost for pens, pencils and paper because sometimes I do have to write stuff down. Yeah, that could work. Doesn’t everyone purchase $1,000 worth of pens every year? No? Dang! More About: Work

First Encounter
2008-02-03 16:57:00 So, yeah, I’m fairly quiet lately. Doing a lot of thinking, and this requires me to be quiet. I had a funny thought the other day about my first encounter with men and thought I’d share it, since I don’t really want to share anything else… Picture me, around 6 years old, hanging out with my sisters and some of their friends. I’m sitting next to my oldest sister and across from me is a male friend of theirs wearing those itty bitty shorty short running shorts. As he kicks back and relaxes, I lean over and ask my sister what’s wrong with him. She looks puzzled and asks me why. I motion for her to look at him and as she does, she screams “close your legs!!!”. Yep, that was my first encounter and I thought he was sick and had a tumor. That’s all. Just thought I’d let yall suffer through my thoughts with me. More About: Encounter
Sweet Tee
2008-01-29 06:19:00 You all know how I love my sweet tea, well, this time I’m talking about a sweet tee. Have you seen the Blue Marilyn Motorcycle Tee? If not, you should. It’s really cute. I’ll put a picture of it below, so that you can check it out for yourself. It has a wide scoopneck, henley snaps, two accent pockets and three quarter length sleeves. See how cute it is? Every girl needs a cute tee, and this one accentuates just the right areas. It comes in small through large and is 100% cotton. If you like it and would like to purchase one for yourself, you can find it at Blue Marilyn. More About: Sweet
Don’t call me
2008-01-29 06:08:00 Have you ever wanted to tell your significant other that? I do, daily. He calls every night to let me know that he’s on his way home and it’s normally a distraction to me. I don’t need to know when he’s coming home. As long as he’s here when I wake up, that’s all I care about. I was almost asleep when he called a few minutes ago and now I’m wide awake once again. Now, I’ll probably never get to sleep tonight. More About: Call
Stay Warm
2008-01-29 05:22:00 Heat is one thing that I absolutely can not live without. I can’t stand to be cold and I refuse to. I can sweat it out in the summer, but I must keep my house warm in the winter. The only problem is that it tends to get a little expensive. There are ways to reduce the cost of staying warm, like using products by Northern Gas. Gas central heating is one thing they offer. They also offer Boiler service. They will work with you to meet your needs while working with your budget. They also offer a 5 year warranty to give you complete peace of mind. Not only do they have great service and better prices than any other central heating company, but they can save you money on heating expenses as well as adding value to your home. Central heating installation will give you controllable warmth and hot water. Those are two thing that are very necessary for comfortable living, which is something we all want. Lazy Day
2008-01-29 05:11:00 Today has just been extremely lazy for me. I haven’t done anything. I woke up feeling bad and ended up laying on the couch for most of the day. Kel and I slept for about 2 hours this afternoon and then I spent the rest of the day laying around even more. Tomorrow will be more productive, I hope. It has to be, or else this house will look like a disaster. It’s not like anyone else around here is going to help out… But don’t get me started on that. More About: Lazy
Something’s Gotta Give
2008-01-28 05:30:00 I really don’t know what to do. Jesse’s wheelchair is barely fitting through the doorways as it is, and now they’ve ordered parts to widen it. We are either going to have to move to a house with really wide doors, or we are going to have to widen all the doorways in our house. We need a larger shower too. I have thought about taking out the wall that separates our bathroom from the guest bathroom and making one large one. That would give enough room for a large shower and new cabinets. It will be an expensive project, but I’d rather do that than trying to buy a new home and having to move. As aggravating as the project seems, I’m slightly excited about it. I’ll be buying all new lighting and possibly new mirrors. I want new bathroom vanities as well… This is really starting to sound good to me. More About: Give , Gotta

History
2008-01-28 05:14:00 You know, there’s one thing that I really like about computers… Being able to go back and see what others were doing on it before you came in the room. I walked in on Keith tonight and noticed that he closed the window so that I couldn’t see what he was doing. You know what my first thought was… Yeah, that! Well, he wouldn’t tell me what he was looking at, so after he got up, I went into the history to see. He was looking at trucks again… I have no idea of why he would hide that from me, other than the fact that I told him that I was sick and tired of hearing about trucks. Anyways, I had to go into details with him about how I figured it out. He should know that no matter what you do online, whether it’s looking at trucks or searching for hotels Las Vegas, it can be found. Well, he does know now but I still think that it’s crazy that he tried to hide that from me. More About: History
Good or Evil?

I just knew I would score much higher than that. I suppose everyone can stop calling me an “evil little girl” now and start calling me a “girl with little evil”! Then again, it says that there’s still hope for me. I might just be able to score 100% one day… *insert evil laughter* More About: Good
All Grown Up
2008-01-28 05:05:00 I know my niece is married and out on her own now, but it’s still hard to think of her as being an adult. They came over to Jesse’s birthday party yesterday and were talking about them being in the process of trying to buy a home and some land. I’m excited for them, but also nervous. I remember how hard it was when Keith and I started having that monthly payment come in. It’s rough trying to make ends meet, and I want to help them, but they have to learn some of it the hard way. I don’t think they even looked around at any other real estate choices. They just found one they liked and started signing papers. I just hope they can afford it. More About: Grown
Naps
2008-01-28 05:01:00 I love naps. I really, really do. I think everyone should be allowed to take naps, even if they’re at work. I used to nap when I worked. Everyone else would leave the office at 2 except me and well… I’d go in the break room, kick my feet up in a chair and sleep. I napped for about 2 hours today, so I’ll probably be up half the night. Kel also napped, but his lasted for about 4 hours. I was afraid that he was getting sick or something, but he’s acted fine. He just went to bed about 30 minutes ago. He can’t get in a habit of doing that. I don’t think I could handle him staying up to 10:30 every night. Anyways, I’m up and gonna get started on commenting in a few minutes. I have to stick to that, since I started out so well.

Archive Meme
2008-01-19 16:08:00 So, Angry tagged my ass this morning (pun intended) to do a meme, and I’m getting it done on time! Here are the rules for this meme: 1) Go back through your archives and post links to five favorite blog posts that you’ve written. But there is a catch; a) Link 1 must be about family. b) Link 2 must be about friends. c) Link 3 must be about yourself, who you are… what you’re all about. d) Link 4 must be about something you love. e) Link 5 can be about anything you choose. 2) Post your five links, and then tag five other people. At least TWO of the people you tag must be newer acquaintances so that you get to know each other better. Ok, I’m almost tempted to write posts to use on this, but that would be cheating so I’ll do the best I can with what I have to work with… a) Family: He Believes is my favorite post because it’s about Jesse and the Tooth Fairy. b) Friends: My most favorite friends are all online. Over time, some have came and gone, but a ... More About: Meme , Archive , Hive

2008-01-19 05:17:00 I have did pretty good today. I commented on quite a few blogs, I wrote a few posts, I worked on another project I’m doing, so yeah, I did good today. I should be back on it tomorrow, if any of yall post tonight. I’m trying to get to the point of commenting on every post, or nearly every post. And yes, I’m just rambling here, but I’m trying to keep myself awake. Keith isn’t home yet and I don’t want to go to bed until I know if he’s working tomorrow or not. I hate waking up and him not being there and I don’t know if he even came in for the night. I’m gonna go play some games for a while and try to stay awake. More About: Wrote
For The Men
2008-01-19 04:37:00 Buying gifts for the men in my family is one of the easiest things to do. They all love anything related to outdoors. The only problem with that, is that some times the gifts get expensive. Keith has already put in his Christmas wish list for this year and I’m going to try and get it, but I’ll have to find something else for his birthday. Hunting & Recreation Business Mall sells deer and fish feeders, and although a Fish Feeder isn’t something that he would need, I know he would love to have a deer feeder. He thinks that he is a master hunter and needs all of the hunting gadgets on the market. Now, I just need to order, store, and hide it until his birthday rolls around.
Blah!
2008-01-19 04:25:00 I ended up having to go to the luncheon today, where they were teaching all about “how to be a lady”. I sat there, in my Sunday best thinking that if they didn’t hurry up I was going to slip my heels off. I really need to start dressing up more often, because I seriously can’t do heels any more. I wear sneakers all the time and normally jeans and t-shirts, and today was just terrible. My feet are still hurting. I’m tempted to go soak them for a while and see if it helps. One would think that expensive dress shoes would be comfy, but they are just as bad as the cheap ones. So now, not only are my feet hurting, but so is my head for spending all that money on shoes that I can’t wear! More About: Blah
The Real Deal
2008-01-19 04:20:00 I have always been skeptical about traveling. It is mainly due to my getting most of my information from online and not knowing if it is accurate or not. I have found a great site that offers city guides that are custom written and give lots of details about the cities. You can find information on events, shopping, architecture, and places to stay. Cheap Hotels are a must, when you want to put more money into the things you will enjoy doing while on vacation. You can find many cheap hotels at HotelsByCity.net. The guides you will find there are really interesting. You can read about one of the oldest churches in the world being in Puerto Rico, or about Georgia being the first state where Coca Cola was created. That was something that I wasn’t aware of, so as you can see, it’s very informative! Puerto Rico has one of the largest shopping centers in the Caribbean. I would love to get the chance to go and spend a few days shopping. If any of you ever take the trip to Georgi... More About: Deal , Real
This & That
2008-01-18 04:29:00 Ok, so I have been freaking lazy lately with commenting on sites and I think that I have figured out a way to fix it. I link to way too many in my blogroll. I need to take out those that I don’t read, and those that don’t read me. Sorry if that sounds rude, but this is a give and take world. If I do that, then I will also only subscribe to those that I link to on here. If they don’t visit regularly (at least once a month, week, day… I don’t know, but if it isn’t regular then they’re gone!). So, this will eliminate a lot of the overwhelmed feeling that I’ve had lately. So, yeah, you that are reading this will still be here, but the rest will have to go. On another note, has anyone noticed that I’ve been commenting well for the past 2 days? I’ve been trying hard to comment on nearly every single post.
How To Be A Lady
More articles from this author:2008-01-17 05:17:00 Background info: My sister volunteers once a month at the school that her daughters attend. She does these little “home ec” classes for the girls, and this time, she’s doing one on how to be a lady… I had to type up and put together some little booklets with the information that she would be covering. She got these tips from an actual book… My thoughts will be in ( )’s. Twenty Easy Steps To Becoming A Lady 1. If a lady must leave the dinner, she simply says “Excuse me”. (I can do that, I don’t, but I can.) 2. A lady never makes a date out of desperation. (I passed this one… I’m never that desperate.) 3. A lady does not discuss her break-ups with others. (Ok, I failed this one…) 4. A lady never points out another’s bad manners. (I passed this one too. When someone burps in my face, I normally say thanks, in a smartass way… Of course!) 5.
