Breaking my vow of utter, complete laziness for the day to bring you this p
2007-12-26 22:49:00 I woke up rather determined to be lazy today. I have more baking to do so that I can complete and send out packages to my family - I know I’m late, don’t worry, they expect it of me - but I can’t bring myself to do it today. I am quite tired of pretty much everything having to do with food: planning the food, looking up recipes needed to make the food, shopping for the food, trying to find places to store the food, assembling and cooking the food. Yesterday’s meal was extremely yummy, and except for the Requisite Holiday Garbage Disposal Clog (too many potato peels at once) the meal went off without a hitch. I’ve had no extreme baking disasters, no one has fallen ill this season, so I’m counting my blessings and am satisfied that it’s all been worth it. But seriously? I really need to train my dog to fix me a plate of leftovers without eating the food himself. I am so DONE having anything to do in preparing anything foody that it&rsquo...
