Current Mood: My sincere apologies to all my visitors who dropped by my blog and weren’t able to post a comment. I didn’t know there was a problem until this morning when I received an email from my Sis Mindy about it. I had tried to install a new plugin and it wouldn’t work so I tried to fix the problem myself, but apparently I made it worse. My website hosting company just fixed it for me so commenting is up and running once again. I’ve learned my lesson. No more messing with coding. I’ll leave it to the experts now. Current Mood: Growing up I wanted to have a role model in the mainstream entertainment industry that was a Filipina-American like me, but unfortunately there weren’t any to be found. Now that I’m a Mom it’s such a delight to find that there is one for my daughters and she is Vanessa Anne Hudgens of the “High School Musical” phenomenon. “Baby V” or “Nessa” as she is affectionately nicknamed by fans is such a sweetheart and definitely someone I don’t mind my girls looking up to. In fact, I admire her myself because she seems so down-to-earth and level-headed. I think her mother did an incredible job of raising her with good family values and morals. I really like the fact that she’s very proud to be a Filipina because I’ve been trying to nurture that same pride in my oldest daughter Ange who is a big fan of Vanessa and the rest of the “High School Musical” cast. Current Mood: You’d think that since my hubby is working towards an accounting degree and is already working in that field right now that he would be able to figure out our finances, but that isn’t the case. Hubby is the exact opposite of what you would expect. He can’t save money at all. He’s always spending it. I’ve tried to save here and there, but his spending habits force me to have to use any extra money I’ve put aside to pay for bills and other necessities. Sometimes I get so mad and frustrated at him because I don’t want to keep living paycheck to paycheck, but at the rate he’s been going at it I’m afraid we’ll have to. Only last night did it dawn on him that his spending habits are out of control. I was like “Well, it’s about time you wake up to reality Dear!” I love my hubby, but things have got to change.
