MO has asked us to WISH this Manic Monday , so here is my wish list! My wish came true! YEAH I finally got over my freaking cold! Tuesday, is son #1’s big #7 b-day, I wonder what he will wish for? Friday night, son #1, lost his 2nd big tooth, I wonder what he wished for from the tooth fairy?

First off, sorry for being MIA all last week. I had some health issues going on that have resolved, but then I caught a nasty cold. I’m still dealing with post-nasal junk, but I’m getting there! My poor Christmas decor, will it ever come down? Second I have to thank Tiffany for this award… too cute! Thanks! MO has supplied us with the word ” date” as our Monday theme. I need to clean out the car again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m sick of it! Nasty lunch bags in the car, wrappers, drinks, target bags, trash, money, chap stick, you name it, its in my car!  After I cleaned it out, I took it to the car wash, super vacuumed it and did the 13 dollar car wash, with the new car scent!   Have a great tackle! BEFORE     TADA!!!!!!!!!!! AFTER!

Cruise to Alaska- Celebrity Infinity-Balcony room ( how can you not have a Balcony for Alaska). Yes, for crying out loud I know I just got off a cruise, but this one is with hubby, girls cruise again 12/5/09! This is our 10 year anniversary cruise trip together for 8/01/08! Last cruise we went on was when I was preggo with child #1, that was almost 8 years ago. Our anniversary isn’t till May 09 but in laws have the Disney time share for us, so we are doing our trip this August, when its most warm there. In laws also will only watch the kids in the summer since Father in law is off, and I have two rambunctious kids, apparently it takes both of them to watch them ( I watch them, I’m one person). Anyway, thought I’d let you all know!

Mo’s word for today is ORNAMENT. I thought you might be interested in the story of the Christmas pickle ornament. In German, the Christmas pickle ornament is called Die Weihnachtsgurke. So the story goes like this: According to some accounts, the tradition of trying to find the little ornament shaped like a pickle which was hidden deep among the green boughs on Christmas Eve, began many years ago in Laschau, Germany. As the story goes, the lucky one who found the ornament on Christmas morning would receive an extra gift from St. Nicholas. If a family could not afford an extra gift, the lucky finder of the pickle was rewarded by being the first to open a present. Production of blown glass Christmas Pickle ornaments began in the 1890s. Now there is some controversy about this legend. There are two other versions of the origins of the Christmas pickle.
