Toothpaste Caps.
2009-09-20 13:35:00
Getting the kids to brush their teeth everyday can be a bit of a chore, but there is a simple and easy solution to it by Spread Heads - Toothpaste Heads/Caps. These encourage kids to brush their teeth. As the name implies, these caps can be kept on the usual sized toothpaste tubes, replacing the standard cap that it came with. There are two to choose from - Pete the dog, and Oscar the cat. These work with most of the toothpastes. Once you fix it on your toothpaste, the toothpaste flows easily through their mouths. Once you are done, there is a paw that closes their mouth so that the cap gets closed. With these, getting the kids to brush their teeth becomes a lot easier and is more fun.(Image credit: perpetualkid).(Image credit: urbanoutfitters).(Image credit: perpetualkid).Watch the "Toothpaste Heads/Caps" Video on Youtube------Alessi Rondo Toothpaste Caps: (Image credit: ipejournal).------Spread Heads Mustard Marvin and Ketchup Charlie: Ketchup Charlie and Mustard Marvin replaces...

Hidden Doors.
2009-08-12 14:47:00
Hidden doors aren't something new; they have been in existence from the ancient times. As a matter of fact these can be traced back to AD 1000, the builders then in some cases hid the secret doors behind the statues. These have been used by the kings and lords of the gone by era, sometime for storing wealth and in other times for a quick getaway when the situation arose. Over a period of time, things have changed, and now hidden doors and fortified secret rooms exist in private residences. These also now called as 'safe rooms' are hidden (covered with panels that match the existing walls or door of the residence) and provide a secure location within the residence to the inhabitants in an unwanted situation. Jodie Foster's movie in 2002 really made these 'safe rooms' popular; though these are typically for the celebrities and the high profile executives. There are various reasons for you to have these hidden doors apart from the security reasons or to conceal a vault or to hide...

Best Of The Cufflinks.
2009-08-07 14:46:00
Gone is the era when cufflinks were just for the upper echelons of the society. Though the history of cufflinks goes way back to the Middle Ages when they adorned the wrists of fashionable gentlemen of the day. And there has been a huge change over the period of time; a pair of buttons set with diamonds and a pair of gold enameled buttons are the earliest references to what we now recognize as cufflinks was made in the London Gazette of 1684 and 1686 respectively. Now you have cufflinks made out of typewriter keys, subway tokens, out-of-date coins, circuit boards and many more materials. Though the gold and silver are the all time favorites. The range of designs to choose is quite huge now; it can be from your hobbies, work theme, or even gemstones and diamonds (if you can afford). These accessories bring sophistication to an ordinary shirt and once you start wearing it you wont be able to resist it. These are the perfect accessories to enhance formal and business casual attire. Soc...

Teenage Stories - Huge Girls On Streets.Julia Fullerton-Batten was born in Bremen, Germany and graduated with a diploma in photography from the Berkshire College of Art and Design. She has since traveled the world a lot and rapidly developed a reputation as of one the leading young photographer in the country and credit for it surely goes to her surreal urban imagery. In her Teenage Stories image series, Julia has taken typical scenes and individuals; shows the lives and feelings of young girls as they transform from a relative innocence to heightened awareness of their grown up lives. Many of these are involved in everyday leisure activities, at home, in the garden, at the swimming pool, or at the beach. She juxtaposed them at strange and incredible scales. Another thing deliberately done here was selection of ordinary girls as models to produce a slight intentional awkwardness in the posture of the models that enhances the usual surroundings. Light Transmitting Concrete.
2009-02-14 16:08:00
Light Transmitting Concrete .Litracon as tough as concrete, yet light can get through it. Litracon is a combination of optical fibers and concrete. A wall made of Litracon has the strength of traditional concrete but thanks to an embedded array of optical glass fibers, which lets in the view of the outside world, such as the silhouette of trees, or passersby, that are displayed inside the building. The glass fibers allow light to travel by points between the two sides of the blocks. Due to their parallel placement, the light-information on the brighter side of such a wall seems unchanged on the darker side. Also there is no change in the color of the light. An array of thousands of optical glass fibers runs parallel to each other between the two main surfaces of each block. Theoretically, there is almost no loss in light up to 20 meters due to the fibers in such a block and hence a wall structure built from light-transmitting concrete can be several meters thick. In 2001 Hungarian arc...
