Japanese artist Haroshi creates unique full-scale, three-dimensional sculptures with used skateboard decks. To make a sculpture out of a thin skateboard deck, this self-taught artist arranges many layers. Skateboards may seem like they're all in the same shape. But skate decks are already processed products, unlike flat pieces of wood from tree; in addition the skateboard's structure varies according to the factory, brand, and popular skaters' signature models.
