N95 Accelerometer

I found a hidden treasure in my Nokia N95 handset today. I didn't know that the N95 had an Accelerometer in it. I was wondering how the camera would automatically differentiate landscape and portrait shots all by itself. This was done with the help of the accelerometer feature in it which Nokia had been hiding from us for some unknown reason.I downloaded a few applications for testing these features and it turned out to be an interesting thing. Self Driving!

I started taking my car by myself (all alone!) for driving since yesterday. I get to drive the Forn Ikon and believe me its one of the most fun cars to drive.Whats left to learn is just...Sneaking out of the house! :PIt was a nice week practicing to drive and do the finishing touches for self driving. Basically it took me 4 long months to reach this stage but it doesn't take so long if you practice it everyday. I had all sorts of lame excuses for not doing it sincerely. Now I just gotta practice more and more on so that I become an intermediate and I get to buy a Sports Car(dhuh!)What people say is that "If you can drive on the roads of Calcutta then you can drive in almost each and every city of this world." Honestly, its really not that tough to drive here excepting saving your car from the cab drivers who drive like they are drunk! So much time did you take to learn driving?

Thieves steal 200 tonne bridge

Scrap metal thieves in Russia managed to steal a 200 tonne steel bridge without anyone noticing. They took away the entire structure and vanished overnight. It was part of the only road leading to a heating plant. According to the management of the company, the cost of replacing the bridge would be ten times the value of the scrap metal that had been stolen. ...my school life I was sent back home from school because I was late! LOL! I mean really it was my first time. Not to be that proud of but still. Nothing serious happened except that I got a good jargon from mom and dad. Anyways I was a bit reluctant to go to school today because I had not finished my Informatics Practices Project file for which I have to make 10 Visual Basic Programs. Gotta finish it now.See ya!

Here goes the answer for the Just a Random Question I posted on this blog a few weeks ago.And the answer is "In"!Many of you commented the opposite of "Not In" as "Out" but think of it again. Not In means Out, So how can the opposite of Out be Out? :S Hehe...I got a total of 28 comments and now its just 3. Why? Because all my readers who gave the wrong answers deleted their comments. Lol!I'll be posting more tricky questions like this in the future.

Oh yes, I bunked school today! And what's the reason??? Sleepless nights, so sleepy mornings :P I don't know why but nowadays I really can't sleep at night. I come from school and then sleep that time for 2 or 3 hours and then stay awake all night long. Anyways, I gotta study today because we've got a Economics test tomorrow and also my Accounts homework to be finished(OK, I say that I have to finish my homeworks but I always end up not doing them). So my school reopens tomorrow from a nice vacation. Although I don't have any excitement for the school vacations ending I do have some "tension" about it and it really puts off my mood. Well what's my tension??? It's my class teacher and Economics teacher. I mean he really gets on my nerves by just "targeting" me in class for everything bad. School Calendar Designing

Having recently being a bit famous at school about my geeky skills one the teachers told me and my friend Shubhangam to design next year's School Calendar . I appreciate me getting the privilege but my problem is that Shubhangam stays in Salt Lake and it is more than 15kms away from my home. School is opening on the 17th or the 19th(I don't exactly remember ) so we gotta hurry too. One more problem is that we haven't thought of any idea about the design till now so that builds up the pressure more and more. I was planning to go to his house tomorrow but thanks to the great Mamta Banerjee and the "Stone Age" political war, tomorrow is a bandh...I mean...Dhuh! What joy do these people get by having a state freeze? Anyways now I gotta reschedule tomorrow's plans. See ya!

The Wallet Hunt - Return of the Wallet

OK don't laugh on this but honestly, I had a wallet hunt at my house yesterday because I had lost my wallet. Almost everybody was looking for it and it took a whole day to find it. I was like really scared because my wallet had near 2000 bucks in it, my Driving License, My Debit Card, etc... I was obviously tensed about the money in it but then retrieving a new Driving License and a Debit Card is too hectic. And on top of this I am leaving for Goa tomorrow so I desperately needed my Debit Card. I went on to be so vehement to get it that I even promised a Rs. 101 Prasad if I find it.Well finally I found it today and guess where was it? In my cousin brother's new car! So dumb of me, My wallet was lying in my brother's car and I was searching my whole house for it! Anyways, as promised a prasad package was bought for the Return of the Wallet . :D

Quietness? Well why?

Well it has been a long time since I blogged here about myself and half the reason goes to my Diwali/Durga Puja Vacations being started this week and the other half reason being me getting ill(ya ya again!).Although I have more or less recovered from fever but I still do have slight body pain which is really taking on my nerves.But wait, does this mean I am going to regularly blog here? Nope. And that is because I am going to GOA! Oh yes you read it right! GOA! Going with my friends - school trip. Will be leaving on the 27th of this month and will be back on the 5th of the next month. I'll be out for some exciting 10 days.OK then, that's all for today.
