48 Hours...and still RAINING!

It has been more than 48 hours now and it is still raining in here! Almost half of the city's drainage pipes are blocked out and water level is rising in some parts of the city. I saw in the news papers today that there is one area in the city where the water level reached a "watering" 4 feet!Thankfully, my area's drainage system is well maintained(maybe because this area is a very high profile area). The water level hasn't even risen till 1 feet! You may want to look at some of the pics I just took:Now that doesn't look like 48 Hour s of HEAVY raining...

Movie Sunday

Today I went for a movie with my brother and my parents. It was Hindi movie called Cheeni Kum(चीनी कम). I would give the movie a 7 out out 10. Amitabh Bachchan's acting was simply awesome! but somehow I did not like Tabu's acting in it. The story is basically about a man(Amitabh) who owns the best Indian restaurant in London and is age is 64 years. He fells in love with a lady customer(Tabu) in his restaurant whose age is 34. Both end up deciding to marry each other. The movie shows how he struggled to make Tabu's father agree for their marriage as there is a big age gap between them. Actually Amitabh is older than Tabu's father in the movie.I know this movie sounds a bit weired but then it was a good movie to watch adding the good music to it.Next movie for me this week: Live Free or Die Hard

Music World

I started my Band Practice this week and will be following it every Tuesdays of the weeks to come. I am playing the synthesizer in it, that means I will have the headaches of putting music to the songs which we play. Currently we are practicing Hotel California by Eagles.I also bought a guitar which I fell in love with on first sight. I really do not know how to play a guitar so I I will start learning if from Wednesday I as scheduled.

Awe-inspiring Day

Today was the most happening day of this week except the waking up part. I was feeling very lazy of getting up and going to school because the weather was so awesome today. But then I had to go to school so some how managed to get ready and go. When I reached school, the weather turned so nice that cool wind was flowing in the classes so we were in a good mood to study.The school time went off very nicely and when I returned home, i started to design a blog which would be a new unofficial blog for our school where some selected school students would be its authors. After sitting on it for an hour or so, I went out for a walk alone and ate some panipuris and returned home. Ate my dinner and had a small chat session with my family. Now I am here writing a blog post and after which I would go off to sleep for a happy new day tomorrow.

New domain and Google Apps

I bought a new domain for myself today for personal use. I had setup all the hosting chores and other settings but then I discovered that the provider does not give me free email platforms. Then I remembered Googl e Apps which my company uses for our email management. Basically what Google Apps does is that they give us Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Talk and Docs & Spreadsheets accounts with our own custom domain without any hardware or software to install or download on our server. They do all the maintenance and technical things. I just found it awesome to use it for my personal use as well. I signed up for it and it was all running within 6 hours! Now I get to use my own email and other Google services under a custom domain. For example, my email(something@mydomain.com) page can be accessed from mail.mydomain.com my Documents can be accessed from docs.mydomain.com.

Sorry for not being Here

Sorry people for not being here on this blog because I was very busy with the District Interact Club's Annual Meet (2 days). It was an awesome experience making new friends form all over the city. The meet was from the morning till the evening so I was damn tired after returning home on both the days and that is why I couldn't write here. But I had some of the happiest moments of my life there.Back to today, I had gone for a haircut because we have a holiday at school today because of our school having come out with nice Board Results this year. I have bought a domain for my self also but I will tell about it in the next post.

A Happy(meeting) Day

My school opened up today finally! It was a great day today there as I met many of my friends after about a month. No studies were held today as everybody was busy settling in their classes. We had a lot of new students in our class and we all oldies had a great time making friends with them(some bad boys even started teasing a few).After school I came home all tired and full of sweat(ya, I know that is very dirty) because it was very hot today. I took some rest and sat with the computer. Surfed the net a little bit and started playing World of Warcraft(didn't I tell you all, I am a World of Warcraft addict). I played it for almost 3 hours and after that studied a bit. I just had my breakfast now and going off to sleep early because I have to leave for school a bit early in the morning tomorrow.

Nothing Special

This Sunday was the most boring Sunday of my life. I just went to the meeting of the Interact Club of our district. It was damn boring there. Nothing took place except collecting funds/sponsorships for the Annual Interacters' Meet to be held next week.No family outing for me today because my little brother was busy finishing his holiday projects because our schools are opening tomorrow! Finally! Well, this is all for my post today because nothing special happened today.

Birthday Bash and Get-together

Today I had a very tight schedule right from the morning. I had to go to my company's office in the morning and then from there to my best friend's birthday party in the evening. I had a nice time celebrating there. I also bought one cake for him. Well you all must be thinking that whats the big deal in bringing a cake for a best friend. Well, this cake was just for his face! Just after he cut the cake, one of my friend got hold of his hands and I spat the cake on his face! Well this was one moment he will surely remember for his whole life.OK, now this was not the end of the day for me today. After the celebrations I had to go to my uncle's house for a family get-together. It was almost 5 in the afternoon and I was damn tired but had to go there. Now skipping to the end. The whole day was really tiresome as you can read. But enjoyed it overall.

A Rainy Day

All was well today when I woke up. Bright shining joyful Sun. Birds chirping for a Good Morning Call. I was too happy experiencing the weather and finished up my morning chores.Suddenly at about half past eleven, without any warnings, it started to rain. Now it gave me a little relief because we had rainfall after many days but after some time it started to rain heavily which almost stopped the whole of the city from going out to work. The weather had unexpectedly turned rude to us, I don't know why.This rain stopped after about one in the evening and all was quite as nobody was on the streets. I went out for an evening walk and it was very nice to see the water sprinkled leaves in the parks out there. I then went to our office because I had some papers to sign on and had to wait there till seven thirty in afternoon. Came home got freshened up, ate something light and now going to sleep just after finishing writing this post. Anyways, it was a nice day.

A Great Movie Today

Today was a great day...woke up a little early, ate my breakfast, took a shower and then off to a movie with my friends. The movie was Ocean's Thirteen and it was awesome! But not better than Ocean's Eleven and Ocean's Twelve. OK, I ain't doing a movie review here so lets move on...I was damn tired when I returned today and slept for about 2 hours, woke up did a bit of net surfing. I am really waiting for my schools to open up on Monday...
