Blue Like Jazz
2008-02-23 04:20:00 by Donald Miller This is a great book. Once you get used to his style of prose, he starts really dropping some theology on you, but without you really noticing it… until it’s too late :D It’s edgy without falling off the edge. Single-Match Fire
2008-02-23 00:37:00 I had recently kinda lost faith in my ability to light a fire with one match. I hit a bad patch of having to use newspaper for tinder, and also having lots of pressure to get the fire lit now as opposed to in a few minutes. Today I was able to get back on the single-match horse and ride! The secret, I think, is to use dryer lint for tinder. It pretty much rocks. More About: Fire , Match , Single

Pretty Much Read My Mind…
2008-02-20 18:00:00 This past Dinosaur Comic is pretty much a transcript from my mind (replace “stand up” with “web comic”) just before setting out on my mission to bring clipart joy to people on Thursdays. In case you didn’t know, I used to make little nuggets of joy for everyone to peruse at their leisure on Thursdays over at the now-defunct “Pungirls!” web comic. Now you will get the chance to experience them again, for the very first time! For the first couple of months (Starting tomorrow) I will run through the ones I have already made. Starting in May, you will get to see all new installments of “CLIPART CARTOON THURSDAYS!” every Thursday, until I run out of ideas. Every cartoon has passed my rigorous standards of comedy (i.e. does it make my roommate groan/cringe/want to harm me.) Get ready, because this all starts tomorrow. More About: Read , Mind , Pretty
