Below are some two wordpress tricks that I use on my blog, I hope they are any help to you. 1. Make those tags in to meta keywords. This is a function that I looked for in a lot of plugins, especially SEO plugins, but sadly none of them(at least the ones that I know of ) have this function so I decided to make a simple PHP code for it. Ok ok .. you got a blog that is running on wordpress .. good for you YEY and HU RA RA because its 80% SEO friendly. Which means that google will index you a whole lot easier. But aren’t you forgetting something ? Ah thats right a very old “web1.0″ element that has been kept sacred to this day. Its called robots.txt. This is the first file that google looks for when visiting your website . It should be saved in your / dir ( ex: www.domain.com/robots.txt ). But wait .. what do I put in it? A blank robots.txt is the same as no robots.txt. Below i will try to write a general robots.txt file that works for any wordpress blog. So ..
