Boy, I have many many things to say!! First of all, I want to say thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart to Mr. MaleMan (Angeles called him so - iPostaItalia MaleMan hahaha) who has left his paw prints in many blogs to say hello on my behalf! This is to answer your question at my kid's room... and don't forget to see my previous post if you haven't see the picture yet.. it was taken in Jakarta last Saturday. Thank you! According to wikipedia Bajaj was originated from India. It is three-wheeler public transport in some countries, including Jakarta. I try to find some collection of Bajaj for you to see... Ha ha ha.. do you find some of these in your country too? Riding Bajaj needs guts! Besides its very loud sound and pollution smoke, it is very fast, wild and unbelievably scary... hahaha.. but for Jakarta people, it's so normal and common to take bajaj everywhere. In one traffic jam, someone pointed a knife at me and my mom while we took bajaj in Jakarta around 1993! He took my mom necklace, and my ring. Nowadays, Indonesian government tries to change bajaj with kancil... (picture on the right). May be it is safer because it is closed by windows. Several days ago, my friend Stacey asked me to visit her at Missouri and bring brownies and photoshop cs3 for her.. hahaha I looked the map to find some interesting places I can find nearby Missouri and found Branson. I remember GIGI told me that she met Stacey for the first time at Silver Dollar City, that's at Branson. You really have lots of attractions at Missouri! Lots of museums including The Titanic, Hollywood Wax Museum - Ripley's Believe it or Not... there are Table Rock Helicopters - Branson Balloon - Outback Bungee (oww!! fun..fun..fun!!) so many outdoor activities, water rides, go kart track, golf courses (Eric you will have a great time there), cave and caverns, resorts... gosh, unbelievable! There is 35th Annual Hillbilly Festival & Craft Show on MAY 16 - MAY 18, 2008. And talking about lodging, there are so many great resorts, cabin, inn, hotels I can choose! These are the pictures I promised you... Yes, LJ, you are right! I met Juliana at Jakarta last Friday... Now I think she has arrived safely in Netherlands again. Raymond and Juliana are very friendly couple. In this post I want to thank all of you again for your hospitality... We arrived around 6 pm at Juliana's mom's house. I was so excited to see Jason, their cute little boy... I enjoy to meet this family, and grateful for the time we could spent to 'really talk' face to face with all of you! This Jason loved the camera so much... hahaha.. he giggled a lot when we took his pictures... aah so cute! Guess who I've met yesterday? *wink* I am in a hotel room now, blogging with my hubby laptop.. so nice of him! so happy I am! *eat my ba pao* *hm! delicious!* Several days ago I got sms from this blogger, saying that this blogger will be in Jakarta until Saturday. I told my hubby that I want to meet this blogger, spend a night in Jakarta if he didn't mind. He agreed! Yay! *kiss my hubby* He also had an appointment today (Saturday) to meet his friends... so here we are!! We departed from Clay's school at 3.30 pm. Clay was so surprise when I told him we would directly go to Jakarta... hehehe.. unexpected vacation for him! By the way, he finished his level C Kumon and now in level D.... I gave him many rewards to make him happy that he has done a great effort. We bought new shoes, new 'croc-like' sandals (that means fake croc to be frank LOL), new T-shirt, new pajamas, and now stay in a hotel... hahaha... though I don't really intend to do this all purposely for rewarding him,...

My Dad's birthday celebration

Remember that my dad has passed away in 2005? Today is his birthday! This morning I told my kids about this in the car on the way to church. Clay spontaneously sang "Happy birthday Grandpa" and we sang together happily. Though we know that he is not here with us anymore, we love to remember him in this special day. Cliff was sick... please visit him in his room... it is my children's diary I made long time ago but never publish it. I will start blogging about their life there. The 'children's room' is still under construction... but I guess I have postponed it too long to start posting there. I plan to move some children posts from here to that blog, but still have no time to do it... Remember that my old maid left already because she got sick? Now I only got one maid and she kept 'warn' me to find a friend for her. See? Here in Bandung, maid doesn't like to work alone! We must have 2 maids because they need a friend not because overload works! This maid stops working and can sleep at 8 PM, I don't force her to work all day long. She said her hands hurt because of washing the clothes.... she got her body ache... and so on.. and so on... I told her that I am not an inconsiderate employee.. I gave her bonus because she works alone here, 25% of her salary. I don't know if she is happy ...

I prefer number 4... but my hubby said it is too dark... How about you? I took these houses pictures in one real estate in Bandung. Another side of Bandung

Last Thursday we went to Lembang - a highland on the north of Bandung . There were a wedding anniversary invitation from 3 couples over there. I was so excited to go there as it was my favorite place ever! The place's name is Girindah, (Beautiful Mountain) and I used to work in a cafe there before. I've seen so many beautiful phenomenon over there... from the thick white midst, many beautiful sunsets, a gorgeous rainbow in one lovely afternoon (I even can see the edge of the rainbow!), the stunning Bandung at night scenery and a really wonderful bright fullmoon over there!! Can you imagine, one place could be so beautiful? We have the motto : Expect the Unexpected when we run the cafe there... I really love this place sooo much! Clay is still sick... after 3 weeks.

Clay is sick... have seen his pediatrician this morning (after waiting for 3 hours!). Have cough for 3 weeks already, and today got a slight fever again. Too bad, I didn't tell the doctor that he got fever, I just thought he was too tired and too long being outdoor yesterday. After we came home from the doctor, the fever comes back again.. and now he says his stomach is hurt as well as his ears.. his body is itchy too (the doctor said it was because of sweat?) well..well..well.. what happened to him? The doctor said he doesn't need antibiotics because there is no infection whatsoever, but now he got fever I call the doctor just now but he can only be reached tomorrow morning. Now he just rests in his bedroom, can't sleep and refuse to watch tv. I give him green beans soup. Poor boy.. he was about to visit kidzania (click and see it is a very interesting place for kids!) in Jakarta with my sister in law, but they forgot to buy a ticket for him :-( I thank God, Clay didn't fee...

Yesterday was fun! Cliff and I went to the Sheraton Hotels and Towers Bandung to meet my new blogger friend, Farah and her kids (Syabil and Darreen)! I knew Farah from LJ's blog because Farah is her friend. Though we didn't know each other quite long, but we do chat like old friends.. (women! *grin*). Oow, she brought 'all' her baby things here as well, including sterilizer and a quite big cradle!! Whoa! By the way, she brought me a Malaysia key chain as a souvenir! Thank you Farah! Thanks a lot! Here's our picture, not taken good enough because there is no one else there to help taking our picture. I have to put the camera on the stairs and used an automatic shot. I ruuun down the stairs and arrived just before it clicked! *grin* One more.. this time we sat on a very nice down comforters in the hotel's room.
