My maid is sick.
2008-03-17 05:32:00 Heeeeiiyaaa... how are you all!?! This morning, I took my maid to the doctor. I have two maids, the sick one is old.. 44 years old. What is her sickness? High blood pressure - 165/110~! Pain in left abdomen through her back and there is blood when she spits ! Awwww... terrible... quite serious! The doctor asked her whether she drinks coffee or not... (I don't have coffee makers and she doesn't drink coffee here.. ) eh btw, what is the effect of coffee, instead of pleasure? :-) She chooses to get medical treatment at home, with her daughter and family. So she will be sent home in several days. Work only 1.5 month, and the agent refuse to give me the refund, because she has worked here more than a month and no guarantee anymore. I used to hate this situation before, but now, I am ok... I don't think too much about it... just want to be happy and pray for a new one. Besides, I still have a 24 years old maid here. It's ok. Plant Supermarket
2008-03-11 13:46:00 Last Friday we brought my parents-in-laws to a plant supermarket at Lembang. Lembang is a highland, around 30 minutes from Bandung . The temperature is so cool and fresh, we love going there on Sunday to get fresh and clean air. Here's the pictures I took for you too see... The place is so huge and we can get various plants and flowers to make our garden beautiful. My father in law loves gardening, I am glad that I know what he likes so it is easier for me to make him happy. Let's have a tour... My favorite place is the flower area... instead of green leafs collection, I love flowers better!The pink flower on the right is the candidate to be planted on my canopy's carpot! Now we will see many orchids! My father in laws love orchids and really proud of his blooming ones! There is cactus area as well... 2008-03-10 03:25:00 My friend invited me to visit her new house several weeks ago. Oh, that really a very big and beautiful house! The building is 1000 m2, as well as the land.. she even has a swimming pool in her backyard. Can you guess how many maids and male servants she has? 6 maids and 3 boys and 1 driver! LOL... She has 3 daughters (2 are twins and 1 is not), anyone want to marry her little daughter with your boys someday and be their in-laws? hahaha... those girls will be too high cost maintenance I think! I said to her, it must be very hard to look for somebody in her house... you can't just yell to call them. Yes, she said, she yelled once and nobody heard her... hahaha.. so they use small business phone systems in the house. Ok, forget it... now let's see what I have done to my beautiful flowers in my garden! This is our favorite flowers and we love to have it covers our canopy on our carport. My neighbor loves it as well, and they want the flowers on their canopy too. *grin* After several years being so proud and beautiful, we were getting worried of the roots! It's so wild, it appears everywhere! See the red circles, they are only some of their branches, sprout from the ground... I decided to put the main root into a big water jug... I told our gardener (came once a month) to cut down the roots and put them in it after he made a hole on the jug first. The day after we cut down the root, the plant became withered... and finally dry and died! What a pity... so catastrophe... we have no beautiful canopy any longer... Flu and bed
2008-03-02 10:59:00 Cliff got flu and cough again just yesterday, while Clay got it 2 weeks ago. I think Cliff is worse than Clay. He can't breath from his nose and his voice gets hoarse because he breaths from his mouth. However, we feel he is so cute to have a hoarse voice like that.. so funny... LOL.. he is just a little brat but his voice is sooo low like grown ups.. hahaha... If only we have a bed like adjustable beds I think it is easier for Cliff to sleep when he gets flu. This kind of bed has been my 'dream beds' since Clay was a baby! I put Clay to sleep on his stroller if he got flu when he was a baby... oh how I remember those sleepless nights!! Really tiring! I wonder how much this bed here in Indonesia so I can save some money to buy it! But now my kids are bigger already and don't need this bed. What a pity, we are just married when we have a baby and can't afford this bed... and later when we can save some money, we don't have a baby anymore.... ha ha ha ha... oh ok, let's buy it...

2008-03-02 06:06:00 I posted before that I was a graphic designer for a teenager bible-study series before. Several weeks ago, I went to the Christian bookstore and found the series. Here they are! We used some pictures as a cover, and one of them is using my pictures, can you notice which one? *grin* Today my mom and I visit my cousin. He is very sick, his legs are so big, swollen... they are poor and they can't afford to hospitalized him. We have been talking about this to my dad's brothers, but still no action from them. We came there to see and comfort them, but gosh... it's so sad to see him like that! He got to be hospitalized soon, even several flies has come to his legs! Hopefully my uncle will take him to be hospitalized at Tuesday and we will ask some relatives to help us pay the bill. I am really thankful that my family (hubby and mom) believe that God has blessed us to bless others, so we feel no burden at all when we have to share some money (and other blessings such as attention and...

I really have to learn a lot and I am glad I have friends like you! I've known my mistakes when I wrote the post and some of you have pointed that out as well: I have to talk face to face, look into his eyes to see his expression and he can see mine too.I also thought that I put too much pressure to him when I was talking to him, that's why I said I didn't mean to compare him with his cousin (in my heart I realize I did.. hahaha) oops!I shouldn't tell him about his uncle who 'mocked' him in front of me. I think he didn't realize it at all, it's me who dislike his uncle attitude anyway. :-PYeah I know I should ask him first how is doing at school, how's his mood at that time etc before I 'gave him a lecture'.... 2008-02-26 01:00:00 When I tried to push Clay a couple days ago, it didn't mean that he was not clever enough at school. Although his age is younger than most of his classmates (he is 7 years old now, 2nd grade) I must say that he is good and smart enough. He even got this card (and gift as a reward) from his English teacher: Clay is doing great at school. He is talented in English, Mandarin, Science, Math and Bible study. He never has to work hard but he can get good score. Though this is such a blessing, I think Clay has to learn how to work hard. I don't want him underestimate something and not give all his best in doing something. Here's my point of view about parenting... Actually my hubby and me doesn't like to compare our kids. We put Clay in his recent school because of this reason as well. In this school (Bintang Mulia), there is no ranking on his semester report. I feel awful when our relatives and their grandparents compare my children to their cousins. Sometimes, I feel 'challenged' ... More About: Competitiveness
