Cash Advance
2007-12-12 18:58:00
Is it really that easy to secure an online loan these days? What does it really involve and how does one qualify for such facility? There is a lower risk type of loan called payday loans which is a personal unsecured loan offered to persons with no credit, poor credit or bankruptcies AND they can be done anonymously to the public and in the comfort of one’s home. Some of the requirements are:Being Employed for at least 3 consecutive months.Earning at least $1,000 per month in income.Having a valid checking account open for at least 3 months. Some caution is required to ensure the security and safety when dealing with online payday lender. Although some unforseen circumstances may require us to get some funds urgently, caution is needed to search for reputable companies or websites.

Enchanted-Walt Disney Movie
2007-12-12 17:50:00
I finally watched Enchanted and had some laughs at the cinema. And the synopsis:An animated fairy tale meets modern, live-action comedy. The beautiful princess Giselle fell in love with Prince Edward in the fairy land of Andalasia. Fearing that she will lose her throne as Queen mother, the villainous Queen Narissa banished Giselle from her magical, musical animated land and to find herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern-day New York City. Shocked by this strange new environment that doesn't operate on a "happily ever after" basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. But when Giselle begins to fall in love with a charmingly flawed divorce lawyer who has come to her aid - even though she is already promised to a perfect fairy tale prince back home - she has to wonder: Can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world?

Where does beer come from?
2007-12-12 06:22:00
I was chatting with a friend who teaches at an International School (students from foreign countries) recently. She related a classroom incident that really had me in stitches. She was teaching the class about the food pyramid. Interestingly, one of the items that the kids of 7 years old had to put into the right category of the food pyramid was beer! So one little girl was having difficulty on where to put the beer. Which category does the beer go into? To guide the little girl out, my friend said: Teacher: Well, to know which category the beer goes into, we must first know where does beer come from. What is it made of? Do you know where does beer come from? Girl 1: Ah, beer? Hmm...beer ah, comes from olive oil (for the yellow) and GAS for the bubbles. To the dismay of the teacher, everyone was laughing and jeering by now. Teacher (my friend) noticed one particular little girl had the disgust look on her face to show that SHE knows the answer to the question. So teacher calls on sec...

Loans and Online Financing
2007-12-11 08:00:00
Loans and credit in commerce and finance is the term used to denote transactions involving the transfer of money or other property on promise of repayment, usually at a fixed future date. There are many types of loans and programs available for any loan or credit seekers online. Reputable companies can get your loan approval at a minimum of the time required. There are special programs for Unsecured Personal Loans for those who need quick cash and you do not have any collateral to offer. These are loans for individuals who had a blemish record in their finance history. Personal loans can be used for many purposes such as starting a business, emergency repairs of house or automobiles, shopping, to pay taxes, vacations or education. Some loans are inevitable especially if we work or live in the city. What I mean is the Auto Loan for our cars or vehicles. Auto financing should not be time consuming as folks are mostly on the run so to speak and time is money as they s...

Fort Cornwallis - Penang
2007-11-10 10:47:00
Entrance to Fort Cornwallis According to the leaflet about Fort Cornwallis, Francis Light erected a fort of nibong palms at the tip of the cape which called Fort Point and named it after the Governor General in Bengal- Charles Cornwallis soon after taking possession of the island Pena ng in 1786. Fort Cornwallis was the first military and administrative base of the East India Company and the garrison of Fort Cornwallis consisted of a handful of Europeans who resided within the fort, and Sepoys, who dwelt in attap huts next to the fort. This star shaped fort mounted with cannons along the perimeter and the most famous of these cannons is the Seri Rambai which still located at the northwest bastion of the fort. Today, relics such as chapel, store, cell rooms and the gunpowder magazine are still remaining in this fort. History galleries from the early 1700 and staff with colonial costume now is part of the attraction to visit this fort.Constructed in 1814 to store explosives. It was desi...

(See photo on right)4. Fire crackers during festive seasons. Though it may be the sound of the loud fire crackers but the smell of gunpowder does the trick too. Remi nd me of childhood, that is.5. Penang Hill
2007-11-05 03:02:00
My hubby and I went to Pena ng recently. Friends who are familiar with Penang took us to Penang Hill . The hill is known as Bukit Bendera in malay, which means Flag Hill. The hill is about 830 meters above sea level. There are two trams or cable trains in service to bring passengers up and down the hill. It costs RM 4 per adult for a two way trip. There are folks staying up the hill too. The first train service starts at 6.30am and the last trip is at 9.30pm. There are trains at half hour intervals. At mid way up, we need to switch tram. As the tram stopped for 15 minutes, we could take photos of the panoramic view of Penang island. Then suddenly, there was a troop of monkeys that came to greet us! Actually perhaps they were looking for food or something. Nevertheless, it is not allowed nor safe for visitors to feed these wild monkeys. I took some photos though. On top of the hill, there are tea kiosk, restaurants, souvenir stalls, beautiful gardens, and the old Bellevue hotel. ...

This is a tag meme from LordManilaStone. This is the first time I am participating in a tag meme. Hahaha...not sure if I have anything seven related or not. Not sure if I have 7 readers or friends who would like to continue this meme too. The mechanics of the meme: Name seven things about me that are related to the number 7.Then torture another seven friends by tagging them!1. I was born on the 7th of March.2. Don't try this Diet at home
2007-10-30 15:49:00
"My doctor has advised me to give up those intimate little dinners for four, unless, of course, there are three other people eating with me."-Orson WellesDon't get desperate! Don't jump on the fad diet bandwagon. Man does not live by celery alone. Horror stories abound of fad dieters who have harmed their bodies, sadly some even lost their lives, by ignoring their need for a holistic approach to losing weight. When a little boy was asked what he would do when he got big like his daddy. He quickly replied, "Stop eating jelly doughnuts!" Common sense is just as important as carbohydrates. We don't have to give up reasonings just because we gave up chocolate fudge cake. We need caution. You've heard the saying, "Don't try this at home." It might just as well be said about diet. Perhaps the best place to start a sensible diet is at the doctor's office. Start with a professional opinion about weight loss, not the advice on page one of the so called weight loss magazines at the groce...

Touring the Cities of Brisbane and Gold Coast
2007-10-29 18:37:00
Well, after writing about England, I got into checking out some other places of interest. Let us now focus on a nearby country to Malaysia, namely Brisbane and the Gold Coast of Australia. Ah, to make sure that accommodations are taken care of, there is always the reliable guide online at Hotels in Brisbane. Brisbane is the third largest city in Australia and it is situated in the eastern part of Australia. It is also the capital and most populous of state of Queensland. The city got its name in honour of the British astronomer and administrator Thomas Brisbane, who was Governor of New South Wales from 1821 – 1825. In recent times, Brisbane has enjoyed being host to the 1982 Commonwealth Games, the 1988 World's Fair (Expo '88), and the 2001 Goodwill Games. A new airport and many new buildings were constructed in preparation for the fair. So never fear of any lack of Brisbane Accommodation. So let us get to the meaty stuff now. What are some interesting places to visit and activit...

Recognizing Serious Sleep Disorders
2007-10-29 12:49:00
SOMETIMES one’s symptoms may indicate a serious sleep disorder. Chronic insomnia, which lasts more than a month, is often related to more serious problems, including depression. Chronic insomnia may also be a symptom of a serious physical ailment.Sleep ApneaSleep apnea is a sleep disorder characterized by pauses in breathing during sleep. These episodes, called apneas (literally, "without breath"), each last long enough so one or more breaths are missed, and occur repeatedly throughout sleep. When apnea alternates with periods of rapid, heavy breathing (hyperapnea), they may be due to lack of oxygen in the brain, accumulation of acid in the blood, increased pressure on the brain stem, or heart failure. Apnea may be associated with such harmful conditions as irregularities in heartbeat, high blood pressure, and decreased contractile force of the heart muscle.Central apnea occurs when the brain’s respiratory control center doesn’t give the command to breathe regularly. With obs...

Dieting is a life long journey
2007-10-27 18:26:00
"Tough diets never last, but tough dieters do." - Mark Hollingsworth A diet that is any good for the whole being doesn't last for a couple of weeks or even a couple of months. It isn't just about getting into a new pair of pants or a new dress for a party or dinner. A diet is suppose to last our whole life. As they say, "You are what you eat."Every bite of food that we take in is part of our daily diet because it is our necessary intake of food. So we need to choose a diet that we will last and it must be one that will keep us healthy for the long haul. Dieting is a series of daily choices that ultimately will be measured in how much we weigh and, in some cases, how long we live. What we decide about our dietary options today will directly affect our dietary requirements five, ten, or twenty years from now. In other words, cheese cake today, bulges tomorrow! We must not try to cram a lifetime of good eating habit into one month. We need to choose eating habits that will last as lo...
