2007-06-16 23:05:00 Although I've blogged about CS, I haven't really mentioned his flaws. I blogged about why he's a jerk for not calling, but not his basic flaws. Not too much. I didn't want to be mean.Anyway, I went to a party last night, and the guy I picked out had some uhh similarities. I'll get into that later. So, I totally wasn't expecting to party at all last night, but I guess it was appropriate that we did since it IS the end of the school year/beginning of summer. So, Pimptress, Best Friend, Pimptress's cousin and I got all dressed up, (in our new very cute summer dresses) to go party. I wasn't in the mood to go out, but I'm glad that I did. I honestly haven't partied that much this quarter, so it was nice just to have some fun.The party was suprisingly good. I've been to more than my share of uncomfortable & awkward "parties", but this one had tons of people & alcohol, which I guess is the essential for any college party. I wasn't planning on drinking, but decided, "what the hec... More About: Pick , Sure
I'm DONE!
2007-06-15 20:58:00 I just took my last final of my second year yesterday...yay!! Being free from school is an amazing feeling. Although I can't rejoice in this feeling for too long because I will be taking summer school the whole summer, and I'll be starting in about two weeks. Also, I'm going to be working a 40 hour internship (which actually is NOT an internship, but a temp job-which is fine with me because it's not the field I really want to go into, but it's definitely good for experience & a summer job). Also, I'm looking to get a second job for the evenings in the summer at a retail store like Macys or something, just so I can get some extra money, get out of debt, start to pay my parents for the car, and still have some money for me. I want to make a lot and save up so I don't have to work as much during the school year.I actually have one more shift at my current job today, and I'm not sure if I'm going to be returning to it in the fall, but we'll see. My boss is keeping me attached ... More About: Done
John Mayer, I LOVE YOU
2007-06-13 22:12:00 So, last night was amazing, because Wifey and I went to see John Mayer in concert! This is my third John Mayer concert, and my second one with Wifey. John Mayer is my favorite musician EVER, so it's always amazing when I get to see him perform live!!He's seriously just so talented. He is so GOOD live, and he never disappoints. Actually, I was a little disappointed with the set list he played last night. He didn't play my favorite song ever, "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room", or a lot of my favorites like "Comfortable", "My Stupid Mouth", "Split Screen Sadness", etc. He didn't even play "Your Body is a Wonderland", which he ALWAYS plays. Oh well. Our seats were relatively good. We were in the 13th row, in the closest section, but I really wanted to be in the first five rows. At his last concert, (which he played right on the bay in downtown SD-it was gorgeous!!), Wifey and I were like 3 or 4 rows back because it was all first come, first serve, but we had to stand the whole time.I... Consequences (I guess)
2007-06-09 01:40:00 So if the last post left you craving specifics & anticipating a really interesting blog post, I'm sorry. I don't know how interesting this will be, but I figure I might as well blog about it now.So...the guy. I don't really have a nickname for him, so we'll call him CS. I was really hesitant about hanging out with CS, because I know myself. I know that I tend to get creeped out/turned off by guys really fast, depending on how weird/creepy their personality. Don't get me wrong, I think weird is hot, especially at first. But after I get to know them, that soon fades away, and either I'm REALLY attracted, or REALLY repulsed. With CS, I was expecting to be repulsed. Not because he's some hideous dog or something, (although he's definitely not conventionally cute, unconventionally-yes), and not because he's some weird creeper guy (although he is really weird & unique, but I find that endearing). I just...get turned off easily. Anyway, I tend to find out whether or not I still lik... More About: Guess , Consequence , Sequences , Consequences , Cons
Finals Frenzy
2007-06-07 03:35:00 So...I haven't posted in awhile but there have definitely been some things going on in my life. I really want to get into the habit of blogging daily, but sometimes there's just too many things going on and any free time I get, I use to sleep.Fina ls are coming up and you can definitely tell just by walking in the library. It's SUPER crowded, noisy, etc, and I honestly don't even know how you could get much studying done when the library seems like just a place for socialization during finals. I never go to the library anymore to study, I'm only there so often because I work there a few days a week. I don't think I really could get much done in the library, but then again I don't get much done to begin with. I'm definitely a huge procrastinator, but saving things for the last minute is the only way to kick my butt into gear. For finals, I only have one actual in class test. My other classes are just two take home essays that I have to turn in by Tuesday. I haven't even read ... More About: Frenzy

I'm usually not the type to obsess over things like that. Anyway, I called him with a restricted number, left a voicemail with my number, and basically said I wasn't calling about the car, but was calling to hang out. I'm a pretty forward person, and I feel that's the way to go, because I'm one of those people who would rather know than not know. Not knowing is worse than rejection, because it consumes me entirely.Anyway...he called back in ten minutes. He sounded really nice & genuinely happy that I called. So yay! I called him back and we talked for a little while, trying to set up a day to hang out...it turns out he's always busy with work, and then I'm busy with a project that's due on Wednesday...plus finals are next week. So he said he'd call back in a couple days. He called back later that night and asked if I was free that same night,... 1, 2, 3, 4 |
