China: King of pollution

The side effect of the last year's rapid economic growth of China is the high pollution level of this country. Factories and cars are the two most important causes of pollution. Pollution there is touching almost every aspect of the environment over there: air pollution, water pollution and land pollution. It is easy to see how polluted the country can be on this picture. Just compare the two pictures taken on the same spot and you'll see the difference.The first one has been taken on a rainy day and the other on a sunny day. Clinton Foundation and Microsoft working to monitor CO2

"The Clinton Foundation and Microsoft Corp. today announced a long-term partnership to develop a suite of technology tools that will enable cities to accurately monitor, compare and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. The technology will include both software and services." said the Clinton Foundation on their website.The giant Redmond company Microsoft is to help the 40 biggest City of the world to monitor their release of CO2 in the environment. He was the vice president before Dick Cheney and he is also the producer of the documentary "An Inconvenient Truth". I was wandering on the net for my work and I came across several blog with theme "eco-friendly". I realised that more and more people are concern about the environment. We can see it everywhere. People buy green product, there are concert with theme the environment.I personnaly think that the global warming is the concern of everybody and I wish that more and more companies includes themselves in the fight against the global warming.
