Tips on Reheating Pizza
2008-04-25 23:42:00 I love pizza and there always seems to be great offers when they deliver like just yesterday when we ordered two large pizzas for only RM50. It was enough to feed us through lunch today! Lolz!!Never have hard crust again.But you know how the crust often turns rock hard when reheating them the next day. Well here's an easy trip that everyone ought to know!Just wet the bottom of the cold pizza crust with water. Be generous but don't soak the crust. This water will create steam in the microwave and will give you pizza crust that is as soft and fresh as when the pizza was first baked!This also works for leftover steam buns that you have refrigerate though instead of wetting the base of the buns, I just put in another bowl of water in the microwave. 2008-04-21 14:19:00 Someone told me that to be more productive, you need to be offline. I refused to believe it until I was forced to be offline due to my internet connection problems. Ladies, never would I believe those words if I had not gone through it myself.Firstly, I cleaned out my harddisk space. Can you believe, Miss Fly only had like 9GB of space left? I have over 120GB hard disk space to start off with. I backed up my data, burned all the files that I had downloaded, and even rearranged my image galleries.I went through my magazines and throw out what I no longer read. I did so much labellings that I ran out of thermal labels for my label maker. Boy, I feel so organised now.So a tip from the wise, go offline, once in a while and get your life in order, the internet would still be there when you get back on that super highway...Cheerio... 2008-04-21 14:01:00 Oh man, the weather's been so crazy these days. One minute is hot like an oven, the next it's raining cats and dogs. Even my modem and internet connection suffered because of the current thunderstorm. It's not helping my asthma either as it always get triggered by the drastic temperature change. So I am making sure I take my daily puff of seretide whereas it's only taken like twice a week before. I don't even get to enjoy our new shower faucets as I don't take too long a shower nowadays for fear of an asthma attack.Oh well, there's always a silver lining somewhere right?Cheerio...
I Love Shoping

Sleepless Munching Me
2008-04-14 20:18:00 I noticed that ever since I've been blogging, my sleeping hours have been very erratic. In fact, I have started to consider sleeping a total waste of time - which is totally not me! I used to love sleeping and in fact would be very upset if my beauty sleep was disturbed for no apparent reason. And because I used to work late into the nights, weekends are a must for catchup sleep, if there was ever such a term..lolzz..But now.... now I don't like sleeping. I'm not insomniac or anything. I can sleep if I wanted to - it's just that I don't - want to sleep, I mean. I would only sleep when I'm really sleepy and the moment I'm awaken, I don't even "loiter" on the bed anymore. It's straight up, housework and blogging! I really need to enroll myself in blogger anonymous or something soon..heheh..Anyway, I was looking back at my old entries on "What makes you fat" and I realised that if i continue with this pattern of life which consist of little sleep and lots of after midnigh...

Like today for instance, I wanted to go to Al-Rajhi bank and open up a current account so that I can transfer funds from my savings accounts to the new current checking account. That way I don't have to withdraw my money from the ATM machine (which are far and few in between), I can just write myself a check and deposit it into one of my other bank account. However, because of the rain, I got to put everything on hold. It's no fun being out in the rain. Rain y days are meant for indoor days, snuggling in bed with a hot chocolate or just being lazy in front of the tv .Oh well, I hope it stop raining for a day tomorrow so I can get my errands done as well.Cheerio...

Cleaning House

While it is good to plan your hours, house chores are just that. They are chores and for me it's boring and so not fun.So I personally clean one room in the house per day. To always have a clean house, pick one room to thoroughly clean each day. Schedule the bigger rooms for Saturday and Sunday. What tweaked my interest was because it seems mangosteen is really good to control allergies and sinus conditions. His son who was having problems with his sinus had not had any attack since taking this health supplement. A Holiday in the Horizon?

Uterine Rupture
2008-03-27 16:55:00 The last time I saw my gynae, she told me that if I was pregnant, chances are I would give birth via c-section. I did not ask any further because I thought I would cross that bridge when I get to it.Then the other day, a blogger friend of mine who also happened to be doctor wrote about her day at her clinic about a pregnant woman who's husband was too busy to send her to the clinic although she was specifically told to come for checkup for the high blood pressure..Anyway, because of that I asked Nat, my blogger doctor, about what my gynae told me and Nat stated that is in fact risky for me (if I was pregnant) to try for natural birth after my fibroid surgery for fear of a condition called uterine rupture.Uterine rupture is considered an obstetrics emergency and not to be taken lightly. I then surfed around and found this story which totally changed the way I think..I am definitely going for that c-section if ever I get pregnant. Period!

No, we don't need to get drunk or go clubbing for that matter but it would be nice to just get some time away from the home and catch up with friends.I know lots of friends who are unable to do this just because their spouses refused to take care of the kids when the mommy want to go out and play so much so that my friends are always unable to attend any get together I have arranged which is so frustrating to me sometimes. Unfortunately the apartment we are living in currently is a rented unit and the owner had failed to install one of those tankless water heaters.
