On my quest to find a site to voice my opinion and suggestion I came across Should do this.Should do this is a website that lets you voice your suggestion to companies,city officials or products. Yes, you can simply call the company or the product hotline but if you ever have you know it takes a while to get connected, and not to mention the hold after finally getting connected to a customer rep. The service this website provides gets rid of that, to a point.

It just seems like I keep finding applications for ebay although I don’t try to do this on purpose. Some programs are just so hard not to write or inform about, and this is one of them.Auction Calendar is a nifty webservice that lets you add ebay auction reminders onto your google calendar. You will have to authorize Auction Calendar to get access to your google calendar though. This program becomes really handy as a fact that it allows you to get the reminders when you want to. If you want to be reminded of auctions only after 5:00 pm you will get notifications only after then.

Usually I try to find websites and services that are productive but once in a while a little playtime is much needed as well. Today I am writing about a website that offers a free racing game, and no its not one of those crappy ones either.Ijji, publisher of Drift City, an online racing game seems to have it done right when it comes to an online racing game. Before I carry on I should make known that this game is free. If you are a fan of Grand Theft Auto then you will love this game, although this game is not as vast or as advanced as GTF, obviously.

So you want to show the Contact link, but want to get rid of that annoying vCard link which has your real email address in it? Here is how to do it. There is no setting to switch this off. You will need to edit the file: /components/com_contact/contact.html.php Find line 350 which says HTML_contact::_writeVcard( $contact, $params ); Just put the comment characters (//) in front and it should not show anymore. If you want to edit the file directly in mambo, search for mamboXplorer in this site.

Tableless column overflow issue with IE7

Today we realized that the De-Modular Business template doesn’t display entirely correct in IE7. One issue that boggled me for hours on end was when I had 3 columns with the middle column divided into 2 additional columns and they acted like the 3rd column didn’t exist (default install in the Blog section). I am willing to bet that we are not the only ones that has had this happen with a Joomla! template. So how can you fix it?
