She entered my house without permission
2007-09-12 16:51:00
Who did this, you ask? My Landlady. I'm appalled and so angry right now that my hands are shaking. This is the 2nd time she has done it, and both times I was in bed. I woke this morning to a racket. My house has two doors; one in the front and one in the back. If you walk out the back door and look to your left, you'll see basement doors on the ground. She had one of her workers painting next door who was struggling to get up the ladder on the side of the house. She needed paint and knew she had left some in my basement, so without calling or letting me know, she decided to help herself. I had no a clue until I let my dog outside to pee. The basement doors were left open and anyone could've walked by and fallen in and broken their neck. When I moved in, my boyfriend made sure they were locked from the inside. Now I'm wondering if she came inside my house, which has another door to the basement in my kitchen. She could have easily came in and unlocked them. I'm absolutely fuming ...

Do you want to improve your writing?
2007-09-12 03:35:00
How about getting your work published?A few years ago, I signed up at www.fanstory.com. It's a large community of readers and writers, and the site has been on the net since 2000. Your writing is reviewed and rated each time you post a story or poem by the members on the site, and you're guaranteed 3 reviews. Fanstory uses a 1-6 star rating scale with 1 being worst and 6 being best. You can also participate in writing contests and win cash prizes. All writers are ranked, but it's based on the feedback they receive. I tell everyone who wants to join the site to expect harsh reviews. It doesn't always happen, but be prepared for it, and kindly thank everyone for their feedback. This is the only way to improve. Remember who's your worst critic. That person is yourself. If it wasn't for Fanstory and the help of others on the site, I probably wouldn't be a published poet today. Definitely check it out, and don't forget to read the FAQ. It's an outstanding site!

Fibromyalgia cure
2007-09-10 18:34:00
Did the title just make you laugh? It should, especially if you've been a Fibromite for years and years. On the other hand, I'm sorry if you clicked the link, thinking there's actually a cure for Fibromyalgia . There is none. It will never happen. Why? Because there's more important things to cure out there, such as Cancer and Aids. They're deadly. Fibromyalgia is not.Hello, my name is Dana and I'm a Fibromite of 21 years. No, this is not an A.A. meeting. You're not gonna hear I'm in recovery or I'm cured. There is no such thing. If this has happened to you, you never had Fibromyalgia in the first place, and most likely, you were misdiagnosed.Whenever I hear the word remission, naturally, I think of Cancer. Remission: an abatement in intensity or degree (as in the manifestations of a disease). Let's not confuse that you've been cured, your pain has gone away with the word remission. They're completely different.I've read people say they're in remission, and in the same...

Most trusted GPT sites
2007-09-10 04:34:00
This blog is mainly about my personal life, but I have to make one post about the most trusted GPT (Get Paid To) sites on the web. On the right side of the page, please see the list of my most trusted GPT sites. If you're a stay at home mother/father, on disability, or for any other reason, I highly recommend these sites. It really helps. I'm not gonna tell you it's a quick way to get rich, but these sites can certainly bring you in a couple hundred bucks a month.I wanna make one thing clear and this is very important. If you plan on signing up for any GPT site, make sure they have a forum. I'll never sign up for one that doesn't. By having a forum, you can learn so much. Read as much as you can. Make a screen name for yourself and join the forums, and ask many questions. You'll learn how the site works very quickly and be earning money in no time. It's also nice to see a "Proof of payment" thread. People scan their paychecks and post pictures of them on the forums. Additiona...

No more Cymbalta!
2007-09-10 02:26:00
Well, it's been since Saturday night that I've stopped taking this poison. It's only one day, but wow! I'm feeling absolutely wonderful! My energy is back and I don't feel wasted anymore. Although I was only on it for 11 days, I'm still concerned about getting those nasty withdrawals I read. That's me, though; the worrywart. God forbid if it happened. Having brain zaps on top of panic disorder? I'd be at the ER in a flash and most likely would end up in Atrial Fibrillation. When I feel intense fear, it always happens. 21 years of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue. I can't believe I made it this far. Like my profile says, I'm a fighter. I'll never give up.

My rant about doctors
2007-09-09 20:02:00
It angers me to think that family Doctors are giving out medications for mental health disorders. Not only that, but if your family Doctor orders blood work to be done, and it comes back and says you have high cholesterol, then s/he should automatically send you to a Cardiologist. Why? Because your family doctor isn't specialized in this area while a Cardiologist is. Let me explain more and why I feel this way.Three years ago, my boyfriend was seeing his family doctor every six months. He was fighting to get his cholesterol down for years. It was well over 300 and the family doctor never sent him to a Cardiologist. He prescribed medication but it never lowered the cholesterol. He was out of the guards for years and decided he wanted to join again. In order to do so, they had to run a large amount of tests; one being an EKG. The test is very simple and is less than ten seconds to complete. Something was wrong and they didn't say what, but sent him to his family doctor who seemed sho...

The wonder drug
2007-09-09 03:01:00
Cymbalta is a wonder drug! It'll decrease your Fibromyalgia pain and anxiety levels. If you have depression as well, this drug's for you. Within a few weeks, you'll feel like a completely new person. Everyone will be saying, "Wow, look at the change! You look so vibrant! You're smiling and laughing again! You even changed your clothes!Oh, yes, I even have that glow. You know, that glow when you're pregnant? Happy, happy, joy, joy! I can even do 50 push-ups a day now! I feel so energetic and my sex life couldn't be better!I'm totally lying. I feel like I'm carrying sextuplets; I'm dragging, and have to put Visine in my eyes every 4 hours because I look stoned. Not only do I look stoned, but I feel stoned. People talk to me and I look right at em', but don't hear a word they say. I don't even think about anything when they talk to me. I'm completely blank. When I drive down the road, I forget where I'm going. Honestly, I'm not drinking on this medication. What's next, ...
