El Encapuchado acerca su carrito mientras lanza miradas asesinas. La gorda no se da por enterada. Furioso, el Encapuchado trata de romper una ley de la física que establece que dos cuerpos distintos no pueden ocupar el mismo espacio.- ¡¡¡AYYYY SEÑOR!!!- Perdón.- ¡¡¡Me rebanó el pie!!!- ...- Mira no'mas lo que me hizo - se queja con su hija. El Encapuchado prosigue su camino riendo como loco. Hace pocos años se hubiera deshecho en excusas. Pero ya no. Los tiempos cambian. Es fin de milenio.

Después de haber bajado las curvas de la autopista de Toluca a mas de 170 kilometros por hora, de haberse peleado con tres microbuseros y cerrado a un camión de arena, el Encapuchado llega a las puertas de la escuela, dispuesto a tumbar el retén si no le abren rápido. En la reja una muchacha en minifalda, "mmmm no está mal", le ofrece un chocolate. El Encapuchado no se digna bajar la ventanilla y solo le hace una seña que no quiere nada. A través del vidrio oye las palabras mágicas.- Es gratis El Encapuchado baja como bólido la ventanilla.- ¿Mande? - Cortesía de Toblerone- Ah, no te había visto, gracias - miente mientras piensa que ya tiene postre y siente que una vez mas, los colores se le suben a la cara.

El Encapuchado se dirige hacia su depto. La calle tiene dos carriles, uno que sube y otro que baja. El Encapuchado va detrás de un carro viejo y comienza a desesperarse "méndiga carcacha". Para su mala fortuna, hay tráfico y no puede rebasar y peor, parece que la cafetera se dirige al mismo lugar que él. Pues si, el autito da vuelta a la izquierda y se planta frente a la reja que da acceso a la privada donde aparentemente ambos viven. El policía tarda en abrir, asi que el Encapuchado toma aire y se pone detrás, bloqueando el carril que baja y dispuesto a contestar las mentadas de madre que se generen. Cuando por fin abren la puerta y el Encapuchado va a pasar, el policía le hace señas que se detenga. Pensando que le va a pedir algo o quiere informarle de la próxima junta de vecinos a ninguna de las cuales, por cierto, se ha dignado asistir, acelera. El Encapuchado estuvo a punto de tirar la reja y tal vez de rayar su coche, por que todo lo que quería el policía era que se detuviera...

El Encapuchado llega a su depto a las 10 de la noche. No hay luz. El Encapuchado nunca ha cambiado un fusible, pero siempre hay una primera vez. Toma un repuesto y baja los dos pisos que lo separan de su caja de fusibles. Al llegar se da cuenta que hace dos años astutamente le puso un candado a la caja, previniendo que algun bandido fuera a robarse sus valiosos fusibles.Después de perder media hora a oscuras buscando la llave, la encuentra, solo para descubrir que el candado esta oxidado y la llave no abre. El Encapuchado comienza a sentir que su vieja amiga la desesperación está llegando. El coche está en el servicio así que no tiene mas herramientas que un martillo y decide tomar la solución mas fácil. Notando que la rondana por donde pasa el candado y cierra la puerta es mas débil que el candado en si, engancha éste con la parte trasera del martillo y comienza a darle vueltas.¡Voila! el candado esta en sus manos, arrancado a fuerzas. Pero la caja continúa sellada, porque al torce...

El Encapuchado va por la banqueta hacia la puerta del club. En eso se da cuenta que un grupo de tres hombres mayores departen alegremente en la calle y bloquean su camino. El Encapuchado monta en santa cólera y al grito de "¡¡¡con permiso!!!" avienta su no muy ligera humanidad sobre los tertuliantes. Uno de ellos vio venir al misil humano y no solo se quitó de su camino, si no que lo palmeó en la espalda amablemente "pásele pásele".El Encapuchado prosigue su camino con la cara roja de verguenza.
