I'm not sure if you noticed the cartoon I used on my MyBloglog.com, Technorati and some food sites. There is a reason why I used that. Well, some sort of reason lah. I think I look like it lor. *thick skin* hehehe ...The story was someone send ?? some cartoons quite some time back and ?? said I look a lot like one of those cartoons and send me a copy. Hmm ... there is really some similarity, especially the mole below the left eye! LOL But of course the cartoon is a lot more prettier and cuter lah! I have used that as my avatar since then. What do you think?If you do not know how I look like, well, I look like ..... this, and * Is this me in cartoon form? While going through my old blog at Multiply, I saw the video clip I posted on ?? who was 6 months old then. It never fail to put a smile on my face watching that clip. Every time I carry ?? out of her bed when she wakes up from her nap, she will go disturb ?? next door, even if he is still sleeping. She will do all sorts of things to wake him up. Then they will play on ??'s bed for a while before going to the playroom.

Fun at the Fire Station

Joanne invited us to join her and her twins for a visit to the Bukit Batok Fire Stat ion last Saturday.The Fire Department in Singapore is know as Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF). We don't get to see Fire-fighters in red anymore. They are all in dark blues! We saw a whole range of fire engines there. Like the Pumper-Ladder (PL) which I think is the commonly seen Fire Engine. There's the Combined Pumper-Ladder (CPL), which has a hydraulic ladder-platform attached to it, used to reached high rise fire. The kids had a chance to ride on it.?? cried through out the time her brother was on it. She must have thought he was leaving her. She stopped when her brother came back down to comfort her. Ai yo! Separation anxiety ah?! ?? with you leh. Cannot also ah?I think one of the favourite part for the kids was to be able to play with water! They could stopping 'playing' with the Water Mist Gun and the Water Hose! Giant Water Guns! They had two rounds with them! Wah! Lots of water waste...

The hot was scorching hot so I squeezed ?? with ?? in the pram and I pushed them back home from school. Poor me walking under the sun, hot and sweaty! Throughout the 10-15 minutes journey, the girl was chatting away with her brother and I don't understand a single thing she was saying. All baby talk! The funny thing was there were laughter! Both of them laughing over something that I doubt ?? understands too. ?? told me this when we reached home, "You don't understand what ?? is talking hor? I don't understand also. But she is very funny leh." LOL Now who is funny!* The little chatterbox still 'talking' when we reach home. * * Hmm ... you understand? Like this and like that lor *

I love shopping aka spending money

?? went to Chinatown today as part of the holiday programme. Parents were told by the school to give their child $2 - $4 for them to buy things. So, I prepared $4 of 50c coins for him. My boy is going shopping! Hahaha ...?? bought 2 items. He bought that thingy, is it called a phone tinklet? He said he like that best. It's a shape of a bag and he paid $1 for it. That's two 50c, he said. Hmm... Very good! And the teachers bought them to a shop selling famous Egg tarts. (Hmm ... more like shopping for teachers leh.) He bought one too. He said it was $2. (It's actually $1.80 because I saw a 20c in the coin pouch. hehe.) Looks like he enjoyed shopping!His teacher told me, she asked him to eat the egg tart he bought but he said it's meant for me. Wahhh! So sweet! I'm so touched! Sayang you!After note:I just checked the coin pouch and realised there were $2.20 left. So the egg tart can't be $1.80 but 80c. Reciting Chinese Poem

Today's holiday program is about Tang's Poem ?? and Chinese calligraphy ??. ?? showed me what he wrote. Not bad for first timer. At least I knew what he wrote at one look. It's words from the ?? - ??.I remembered he learned this last year in school. Of course he can't remember how to recite when I asked him BUT I had a video of him reciting the poem. Got actions some more you know! Ai ya! It's soooo funny! I think after hearing him reciting his poem, the Poet sure flip in his grave!?? ???????????, ??????????????????

I send ?? for a week's Chinese Holiday Program. In fact I actually wanted him to go for the Outdoor Activity Program. I think he will enjoy that better but he himself decided to attend this Chinese Program instead. I bet he regretted it. *snigger* Why? Because he doesn't understand what the teacher is talking about. He kept telling me "???" when I asked him what he did in school. The funniest part was he told me, "All Chinese! Why no English? ???? what the teacher is talking about!" LOL Poor guy!Anyway, he did enjoyed his session today. They get to do ??. He told me they did a dough, took some and roll it into a ball then flatten it; that's the skin. Wah! Okay ... (must have guess his way out of it! LOL) Now he wants to help me next time I do it since he knew how to do it. Hmm ... err .... have a look at what he did ...* Did he do these? I have a Litt le Craft Box. No, I'm not talking not about my blog, The Little Craft Box. But this is how I got the name for the blog though. Anyway, my little craft box is a box where I keep the stuff I'm going to use for a craft project. Sometimes I call it a current craft project box because I do have a few other craft boxes which I keep my sewing nic-naks.I think ?? is going to grumble again when he see me taking out this box. ?????????Too free nothing to do is it? *bleh* I had a idea to do a bag with the apple theme and started sewing. However, I stopped after sewing only a few apples when I start blogging regularly. *grin* Since ?? will be going to school next year and seeing how she loves to carry my bags, I thought I'll make her one instead! Yah, you can say this ?? must be crazy. Really ????! LOL * Can you find apples here? *

Royal Slippers for my Royal Highness

Few days back I bought the kids to a shoe shop with the idea of getting them a pair of scandals. My Queen refused to try on scandals and insisted on slippers!!!Of course she had problems wearing slippers and they kept dropping out as she walks. Yet, she insisted on NOT getting scandals BUT slippers. And she held on to a pair of slippers and refused to let go. Sigh! Bo bian lah. Who knows, my King too wanted slippers instead of scandals too. Ai yo! This means I would have to spend more money again to get them scandals next time.Since my Royal Highness has problem walking in her royal slippers, I added my personal touch to it. Can you tell it? Hint: You don't see this on normal slippers ... ;)

Fruit of my labour

This is a part of my Fortune Plant ??? which I bought 3 years ago. It was then a shortie plant with only a few stalks of leaves. I have re-pot it once and separate it into 2 pots. I'm planning to re-pot it again since they are getting too big and tall for the tiny pots.Recently I notice a funny looking thing growing out of the soil. It didn't look like the rest of the new stalks when they grew. This is a bit twisted. A bit wavy. I just ignore it and did my usual watering.Today, the leaf of that twisted stalk unfolded and voila! It's not a new stalk after all. I think it could be a flower or a flower bud!! No one I know who has this plant has seen it's flower before so I couldn't get a confirmation. My friend did tell me this plant does flower about every decade. WOW! Then I'm lucky!! I not only have 1 bud but 2!! There's another smaller one below this big one. If this is a bud then hopefully I get to capture its flowers!!Anyone knows stuff on this plant? Fill me in!!* A fruit...

My Old Bean's Birthday

It was my father's birthday last Sunday. My hubby bought him dinner at ??? on Saturday because my super busy sister couldn't make it on the actual day.It felt like just another gathering as there was no birthday celebration atmosphere. *bleh* Maybe we should had gone to another place where they have ?? or ??. My father is never into celebrations so we really do not know what to do. I guess a simple dinner is still not too bad lah.Sometimes, I feel a tiny bit disappointed and sad because our gatherings are always only my father, my family, my sister and her boyfriend. My mother and my brother's family are NEVER involved. My mother is always busy making money to want to be involve and my brother ... sometimes I wonder whether do I really have a brother. I just got a site that let you find out who in your contacts has actually blocked or deleted you. This is for hotmail users only. So if you have been wondering why a 'friend' is never online in your MSN ... maybe he/she blocked you! *bleh*I got a 8 blocked contacts! But I only know 3 of them! I must have added the rest to my list when I was 'introduced' through MSN conversation. I hardly go online now thanks to my crazy MSN. Even if I do, I usually chat with the same few ladies. But it did make me wonder what I did to kena (get) blocked. Maybe like me, they must me wondering who the hell is this contact, so block better. LOLAnyway, I worry I might cause misunderstandings and embarrassment between online friends, so I better not put in the link here. I worry later my blog kena spam leh!

The meaning of my kid's name

Got tagged by Jacelyn, immomsdaughter and Kelly on this tag.Hmmm .... Both my kid's name were 'calculated' based on their 8 Characters and a list of names combinations were given to use to choose. The names chossen were not my choice. Sigh! Long story. I won't and can't talk about it here. But I can do this tag based on their English name lah. At least that is 80% decided by me.I always hope my 1st child will be a girl so I have only thought of girl's name. It will be a name starting with 'L', following my inital. In fact, I had decided on the name Lauren. But my 1st child is a boy leh! I had a really hard time thinking of a name for ?? because I wanted his name to start with 'W', my hubby's inital. Shooi and LZ Mommy wanted to know what I like to eat. Not that I need to take soooo long to think. My blogger has been down for almost a week so I couldn't post.So what do I like to eat? Hmmm ... Sigh! If anyone have noticed, I have not had any postings to any of my 3 blogs since Monday. That was because my blogger was down. I realised on Sunday when I tried to do some adjustments to the layout of my blogs. I can't create new post! That means ... no blogging!Asking help from blogger helpdesk was no good. Why? In the first place, it's darn difficult to find the link to send them the problem and secondly they NEVER reply. I later found my way to blogger forum and posted my problem there and guess what? A Blogger staff actually replied. So they ARE alive! BUT the reply I got from him was, it's my PC problem, blah, blah, blah. Haiz! Birthday to me ....

?? is official in the Terrible Two stage! ?? brought us to ??? at Paragon yesterday because ?? loves their beef noodles (me too!). After that, we headed straight to the playground on the 4th or was it 5th floor. The kids had heaps of fun and didn't want to leave. Of course the Birth day Gal threw lots of tantrums.We went passed a florist and ?? saw this huge balloon and kept saying balloon, balloon. I got one for her and told ?? if he could pay it and make it his present for his ??. He was happy to do so. His original plan (he told me on Saturday) was to shop for a present for his ?? and to treat her to Swensens' Ice Cream. Wah! So Nice!That boy can't wait and kept asking when we are going to have ice-cream. Hmm. So who's more eager now. So to Swensen's for ice cream we went. ?? did her very first craft today. As expected, she was curious and followed me to see what I had in my hands. She just refused to sit down. I guided her a few times and very soon she was 'chopping' the sponge away. Then there was her brother telling her where to 'chop'. I had fun! The kids had fun too!Of course ?? didn't want it to stop lah. She went to pick up another sponge but I was quick enough to remove the paint. There will be a next time, definitely! * I want to try this shape too! *

I saw this video on Decay on Net. I thought I got over (being angry) on the minister pay hike matter but after reading his blog, got me heated up again. Maybe I just don't understand how they rule the country. So, now we have to see Singapore as a MNC not a country? So it that how it works now? So they want to be a Minister because it a well paid job? Pay not attractive enough? Resign and join another MNC lor. Who give me more peanuts, I go perform there. Talk about commitment. Sigh! They should try being a Stay-at-home-mum! Pay rise? What pay rise? Oh, and I like that part about Singaporean women might become maid and Singaporean men, construction worker. Ai ya! Sigh! Sick again

?? got a sratch on her leg from a fall some time back. ?? refuse to like the wound heal. She kept poking at it and it made the wound bleed and bigger. It must have been itchy. Poor girl!Now the wound is 3 times bigger that what it originally was and she has got an infection. It spread to 2 other place where there are cuts too. Told you she is a rough girl. Sigh ! Took her to the doctor and she was told to be on antibiotics again. She just finished taking one, few days ago for her cough and flu. This girl huh don't know is it she got thick skin or what. I clean her wound, she didn't cry. Some more can lift up her legs to me when I tell her I'm going to apply medicine for her. Not pain one meh?Anyway, I don't know why she suddenly has fever today.
