Many publishers complain that their accounts were banned for click fraud when in their best knowledge they are not the culprits.What went wrong?There are many ways that you can fall victim of click fraud even if you are not involved in it directly. PrecautionsObviously the very first precaution is to never ever click on your own Ads. Do not tell your friends and family members about your Adsense websites else they may get tempted to help you in making money and may start clicking on your Ads. Do not use your Adsense account from public network/shared computer. Inadvertently you may leave your Adsense login information on these computers. Ads Manage ment Made EasyGoogle has added new feature in Adsense for managing your Ads making the job of Ads tracking and managing them much easier than before. With the new feature while making a new Ad each Ad is assigned a unique slot ID and a publisher is allowed to give a meaningful name (ID) to it. All the created Ads can be managed through "Manage Ads" page. The inactive Ads (No page impression in last 7 days) are automatically hidden in the list. The Ads can be given meaning names while creating it, for exp: "car site home page top banner" to manage it better. Once created the Ad code can be modified and previewed instantly. The old Ad code is not affected with the introduction of these new Managed Ads in your site. The new Ads may not appear on the site for about 10 minutes.
