A few years ago, I went on a trip to Washington, DC. The capital of the United States has so many monuments to offer which are truly worth seeing: The Washington Monument, the Capitol Building, the Jefferson Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, and, of course, The White House at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.I spent my time in Washington, DC, with Catherine Carson, an older woman whom I had met before. Since my last post, there has been a lot of news. The most important to me (and you may not fully understand this) is, I bought a skateboard. Inspite of. And by inspite of I mean; inspite of what other people may think. Inspite of whether I will often use it.At age 22, studying at a reknowned business school, having previously worked in the P/E industry, people would not expect me to become a skateboarder, at this stage of life. Well, let's see.During the next three weeks, I will sit three exams. One on Distribution & Channel Management (very interesting, by the way), another one on the Book Sciences (ok), and an essay on the novels Waterland and Ragtime.And after the following week; guess what? I will be returning to my Sister's for Christmas time. And somewhere between Christmas and New Year's Eve, sometime between these comforting days of the old year passing by, I'll watch out for a skatepark.To see how brave and courageous a guy I am to first ride down one of the ramps....
