To my astonishment, a couple of bloggers have written in and asked how they can help since my post about my room mate's illegal activities. Your sympathy has flattered me and made me feel comfortable again. Comfortable to know that others feel the same way; that others can understand what it's like for me.I have felt very much at ease these last days. Recently, I was asked if I had ever seen Rachelle after I started making her presents. The answer is yes and no. Someone was home, but I did not see her in the window again. Interestingly, it seems as if the occupent of the apartment didn't live there on an every-day basis. At least only infrequently is there light in the apt.This is why I went one step further and revealed my identity. I wrote to her a letter that said I was wondering whether she has moved in my neighorhood and that I was curious whether she was Rachelle.And, implicitly assuming it is her who would read the letter, I added that I'd love to cook for her or go to the movies with her. I have been waiting for a response from my neighbor, Rachelle, for several days.After a time of uncertainty whether she truly lives in my neighborhood, I decided to get her a present. I went to a flower shop and bought a red rose. I burned the song Chasing Cars (Snow Patrol) on a CD and printed its lyrics on a blue sheet.
