SEO: My Job

You’ll probably easily get the idea of what SEO is all about if you’re a web surfer. At first I didn’t know such process or system exist on the web. I never thought that there’s a competition among all the website owners on the search engine results pages. If politics and TV channels competition are hot, web advertising among the competing websites is also blistering. Expert search engine optimization is what most of websites owners are applying to boost traffic to their website. SEO efforts may involve a site’s coding, presentation, and structure, as well as fixing problems that could prevent search engine indexing programs from fully spidering a site. The first time I entered SEO world, I was too ignorant about all its process and terms. But since I used to surf the web most of the times, it was not too hard for me to capture an idea of what I was doing. What’s hard for me before was a long explanation each time someone asks about what my job is.

Here I am again sharing what life has brought to me this past few days. I haven’t made an update about how I really am. To the parents who need to work harder and have no choice but leave their children for some time would just rather entrust their kids to extended families and also to some reliable in-home care. Child care centers are available nowadays: family child care, in-home care givers and care provided by relatives, friends and neighbors. These institutions assist parents in nurturing and educating children while parents are away. I am so bothered to know that physical appearance in many cases is always on the favorable side. Many say beauty is skin deep, in the eyes of the beholder, etc. but the truth is … a beautiful person is favored most of the times. I should have not worry about it too much. I don’t look like a despicable creature anyway. Not so much in need to visit a plastic surgeon to fix the way I look. Contented that is. I just can’t help thinking that appearance can oftentimes cause prejudice. It’s amazing how some of the people treat us differently if we don’t look pretty on them. It is a form of discrimination that’s considered taboo in the workplace yet it is perhaps the most obvious form of favoritism when it comes to social acceptance. How lucky those that are blessed with fine-looking faces. Especially if they are beautiful inside too, they will surely live a wonderful life.

A lot of people have already been talking about the Cloverfield Movie . I can’t wait to see it myself on Philippine theaters too. I want to see the freaky monster which is said to look like a dog-sized spider-like creature. I want to see the whole crazy stuff people are talking online just like it’s amazing effects, sweet and tragic story, sci-fi suspenseful, random, and action packed type of movie. Though there are some critics about it’s frustrating ending and nauseous shaky camera but overall it was said to be a great movie. There were also some speculations that there will be a sequel for this movie that left a lot of unanswered questions to the viewers. Watch out.

I don’t know if I do have such type of phobia. All I know is that I just can’t help myself being so uncomfortable if i see cockroaches near me. Especially if it will start to fly, I will then feel so extremely anxious that it might reach toward my direction. I hate waking up with cockroaches. Grrr!!!! Cockroaches are really dreadful creatures for me. Yes, they are too small for my nonsense fear but I consider them as my mortal enemies. They freak me out beyond belief. Sometimes I try disposing them with my own valiant ways but most of the time I just choose running away as fast I can from it. I’ve heard recently that Terminix can help get rid of this creepy bug. It’s already 1 am but I could not get myself off from facing my computer. We do not have work tonight since we were shifted to second shift for this day so tonight I am free to do whatever I want. While i was at work earlier, my officemate Ivy was doing something on the photoshop software. She tried adjoining 2 images from different photos of some famous celebrities in such a way to create gossip between the two. She had successfully make the 2 celebrities appear like they were together in one shot.  I was amazed how she blended the colors of the 2 different shots. When i arrived home, I suddenly thought of playing with my Photosho p software. Crazy ideas got into my head. When I checked my Myspace account one day, I got a mail from a friend telling me that my account was hacked. I was so alarmed. I didn’t expect I can also be a victim of this fraudulent act. He forwarded me the posts he saw on the bulletin that shows me as the poster. I could not remember ever posted this spammy message: Hey there everyone! Happy Halloween:-D I just checked out my phone with all these cool spooky halloween ringtones …..and of course they were free! ( does anyone pay for ringtone anymore?) My friend adviced me to change my password and without any second thoughts I did. Thanks to Lee Stamper! I was just wondering how that hacker barged in my account. I made a research of the possibilities how they hacked my Myspace account. Here’s one of the ways I found: So next time I gotta be careful of the links I should click to avoid being hacked.
